This comment is not relevant to this location but rather general issue that I would like to share. During my walk around inspection in the middle of my 2,700ml trip I found that a nut on one of the bolts holding an axle spring leafs is loose and in fact on its last thread before it would fall off. I tightened it up with a crescent wrench that I had with me. Bad thing is that it was the nut with plastic inside that should prevent it from coming loose. I guess it was on and off for so many times that the plastic just won't do its work anymore. Thank God that the nut was on the outside side of the leaf spring. otherwise I would not notice thatVYACHESLAV F.

They charged me for an extra day because I didn't return it at 10:00 am when nowhere did it say that it was time sensitive and I had to have it back by 10:00am. I was treated very poorly at the Sandy boulevard U-Haul location..... Extremely long line with only one customer service worker behind the counter. I was ninth in line 20 minutes after they opened at 9:00 a.m. with only one window open. I waited 45 minutes for the attendant to smugly tell me my truck was not there after completing the always extensive check-in reservation process U-Haul has. They had no other options than to tell me there was one truck 21 mi away. I was so mad and upset but kept my cool. What kind of treatment is this? I use only U-Haul and have use this location numerous times because of its location. I shall never go there again and was not going to ever use U-Haul again because of this experience. It cost me $300 in labor fees on standby waiting to load the truck but the folks at the 5800 block of Foster U-Haul outlet or fantastic did a great job and the young lady that helped me felt my pain and how long I was delayed and how stressed I was trying to get to the job site in time. I highly recommend the Foster U-Haul location for all your truck rental needs. Stay the heck away from Sandy they need real help over there. I would like somebody from U-Haul to call me personally to discuss this matter further.Bob M.
It seems short-staffed at the end of and beginningnof the month. The staff have to really hustle, dealing with lines of customers, issues with moving trucks/vans, stressed-out customers. As an educator, I view this as a difficult work environment for staff. Part of what they do is educate the public on the trucks, storage, policies, etc., as well as solve problems. They do the best they can, but you need to staff the office with more people during peak times.I’ve found them to be extremely helpful and kind, but the stress they work under is obvious to any customer walking in the door. That does not reflect on them, it reflects on management. I hope these observations are helpful.Debra H. | First Impressions
I reserved a truck about a month in advance. Uhaul called and told me a few days before my reservation that it would be changed to two hours later because they wouldn't have the truck I ordered on time. When I arrived, I was told they didn't have a truck for me and that they would have to call around to find one but "It's the first of the month" and we're so busy etc. The online check in system they were using was down for about 30 minutes, which is no one's fault, but then when it kicked in they realized they did have a truck for me. Another customer in line at the same time did not have a truck that had been reserved because their truck had been given to the wrong customer. It doesn't seem like the folks who work here know what's happening on their lot. I wouldn't use this location again, nor would I count on the company to actually honor a reservation in general. I feel like I got really lucky with how it worked out.REBEKAH K.
This place is awful, I originally got sent here from the uhaul on Burnside for a 26' truck that I reserved 3 days before moving. They gave our truck to someone else on accident, couldn't find the keys for the 2nd one but did find them on the ground 20 minutes later, that truck ended up not being usable because the service light was on, got a 3rd truck so I took off and let my dad drive it and he ended up running out of gas 2 blocks later and had to walk back, they couldn't get that truck started up again. We ended up with a 20' truck and delayed by almost 3 hours. I don't know how this location is in business. The lady that works there is an absolute horrible employee and needs to be considered for removal and she argues with the other gentleman that was trying his best for another good 20 minutes right in front of us without a clue of what she's doing.Samuel R.

Wasn't told I was signing a contract or explained or over viewed what needed to be done. The car was not at the mileage it said it was on paper.
