We had a 15 box truck reserved for 9am. When I arrived to get it, they had none. The one is was to get had not been returned and nothing was available. Poor logistics planning on the part of uhaul.DAVID E.

The moving help people from Olivera Moving were great. They kept me informed all the way through the process( i was not there) and packed the stuff expertly. Great company. The U-Haul people were great ,informative and very helpful. i was able to track how things were going and my stuff actually got to the destination a week before the guaranteed date. the only problem i had was with the local company at the destination point. I was told any U-Haul affiliated storage place would be open 7 days a week and they were closed on the weekend and as result I had to rent a truck from them to pull the trailer the U-box was on because everyone i knew worked during the week and the local place closed early at 4:30 pm. the local place kept the U-Haul trucks and storage in two different places and they charged me mileage to drive between the two places. People were kinda standoffish at the local place to. I would recommend Olivera Moving services and U-Box services to anyone!Alvin B.

Make sure the gas tank is full when I pick up the truck. Sending it out with the gas tank at 3/16 full is unacceptable. If this is your idea of making money on fuel charges, I'll gladly go to Penske next time.JEAN C.

Not being able to return to a different location is a huge downfall. Not to mention the truck I reserved had the oil light on and had to be immediately returned with nothing else available. Staff seemed completely indifferent to the situation and acted like they didn't care. 0/5 stars.ADAM S.

The people I interacted with were great. The hours were not as advertised. Online says 5am to 10. That's a joke. I couldn't get access to the building when I wanted. I would come before 8 on a weekend, locked. At 7 on a Sunday, already locked. The inside of the building was fine. The outside is a dump. People just leave stuff wherever and nobody picks up. Food and trash in the parking area constantly. The "free" area might as well be a dumpster. There were only a handful of parking spaces in front of the building. The U-box's were constantly in at least two if not more. I had two issues with my autopayment go through in the year I rented here. The first was annoying. The second was ridiculous, they couldn't even tell me why it was denied. And despite it being less than a week from the due date I had a $35 late charge (luckily waived by the great customer service) and denied access to my unit which had to be removed. Seems like there should have been some more courtesy warning and "failure to pay in X days will result in lock-out". The location was convenient and the staff nice, otherwise this would a 1-star.Christopher W. | Overall Experience

I am not sure how to respond but I will try. The truck ran well and was clean. The person who's stuff we were moving had already gotten online and spoke with someone on the phone. She felt like she got nowhere and wasn't even sure of the price and was told the storage area she wanted to pick it up from did not have a 26' truck available. Getting pricing and information was very difficult. I then decided to try and help. There are 3 locations in our little community. I went to the first location and the young lady was more then willing to help, unfortunately it was far too time-consuming navigating her way through the u-haul system. She suggested I go to the location down the road., I took her advice and went to the Snowy River location. The lady there was very patient and managed to navigate her way through the system. When she was done she had managed to make reservations for pick up and return locations. She had also secured it through my Discover card. I reserved it a week in advance. She emphasized I make sure and let them know if I were to be late picking up. Three days prior to pick up day I called the pickup location for confirmation.. All was well. Shortly after that u-haul called me to inform me the pickup location had changed. (I am four hours from pick up location) They said it was not far from other location .OK no biggie. At that time I talked to them about pickup time. I am getting older and was not sure exactly the time I would be there to pick it up. I wanted to be there at 9 a.m. But because it is a four hour drive I wasn't sure If we would leave that early or not. (remember I am getting older, and the reservations were for 2 days which gave us more then ample time. U-haul informed me we only had a 1/2 hour window of time for pickup. After discussing u-haul said it would be better to say 11 A.M. and if I got there early it would be available. We arrived at 9 a.m. We were told it was rented and would not be ready until at least 10;30 a.m. I did not find that acceptable. After the truck finally arrived in the process of finalizing the paper-work after, an entire weeks time of u-haul having already secured payment through my discover card they then said there was a hold against me renting a u-haul from something in the past. The clerk could not tell me anything about it, but said I need to call some number. They could not call I had to call. I got out my phone and immediately called, only to get a recording informing me I would have a ten minute wait time. I immediately had the rental put in another persons name and payed for it with my discover card. When I was finally ready to return it I called to make sure they were open. They told me they were open but there was not any paperwork to return to there location, and they had no room for it. In closing I found the locations for pickup very congenial but, U_HAUL it was very disorganized. Gregg OlsonCHRISTAL D.

I blame corporate more on this experience especially with the lack of explaining checking out the vehicle must be checked via a web link. Very poor with no notification. Utilizing Text communications is not secure and people who do not have a smart phone do not have the ability to address this. Second issue I asked for the driver's wiper blade to be replaced. The gentleman decided to repair the wiper blade vs. replacing it. The wiper blade was worse then just letting it scratch the windshield. Corporate needs to do a better job having their associates review all the requirements for check-out and/or check in of rental equipment.MICHAEL L.

I cannot describe how you basically saved my life by allowing me several extension on my rental. As far as the storage goes when I leave in the storage unit well you know you never know if you'll be back to get it the only take the things that I need and leave the rest you're somebody else that needs it now make sure that I leave the key in town so that I can donate items out of my storage lock up while I'm out of town. I pray that other follow and that the storage or people don't maybe killing this year off of everybody not to say that I wouldn't buy a few hundred. Not to say that I wouldn't Buy budget storage units cuz I would not to say that I wouldn't buy a bunch of storage units cuz I would and I probably will but I'll could do charitable service in donating itdouglas V. | First Impressions

I love the 24 hour access & climate control for my electronics and paintings I typically work all day so everything else is usually after 10pm I love all the cameras they make me feel like my stuff is safe.... The staff were professional and polite. However, I was not aware that you required extra phone numbers etc for the registration. As I had left my phone in the car and it was pouring rain I did not want to go retrieve it. I had no choice. It would be extremely nice if a FULL accounting of required information was listed in order to avoid confusion. Also, the 10x10 unit assigned to me already had a lock on it. I got a storage unit because I was evacuating for the fire. When I got to your facility I was told I could not start storing thing because they were closing soon and the card reader wasn’t registering new cards. I did get a free night and mileage on the Uhaul truck, but I had to drive 45 minutes towards the house that I was evacuating and I had to worry about all of my belongings and a Uhual truck.
