The gentleman that rented me the trailer helped me back up and hook into it as well as made sure all of the lights where working. The woman who I returned the trailer to helper me unhook and was very friendly. I couldn't have been happier with my service. I recently took my car to mercedes for service and Uhaul had exceptionally better service then I had at a luxury car dealer. Thank you so much!
The truck was very old and felt like the suspension was worn out. It was almost undrivable when loaded, and made anything above 45mph feel dangerous. The headlights were also very dim.
Matt, the GM, was extremely helpful in resolving an issue. Awesome team of guys!

Last month I rented a van it was the worst thing I have ever done yesterday I rented a box truck it was not clean or hell a wird smell i ues them for different thing but I thinking I will try a different company next time a was over charged for the poor service I had
So the truck broke down and although roadside assistance made it there in an hour I was stuck putside with my 13 year old daughter on the side of the highway in 37 degree weather while the mechanic tried to fix it. He could not so then the answer was to wait without heat for another 2 1/2 hours for a tow truck. No apologies. What was really disturbing was when we were done unloading the truck and called for the truck to be picked up the tow truck was there within an hour. Go figure? Also roadside assistance and the rental location don't talk to each other. I got a phone call saying you are late returning the truck. I had to inform them that their disabled truck was sitting in my driveway!

The staff were professional and polite. However, I was not aware that you required extra phone numbers etc for the registration. As I had left my phone in the car and it was pouring rain I did not want to go retrieve it. I had no choice. It would be extremely nice if a FULL accounting of required information was listed in order to avoid confusion. Also, the 10x10 unit assigned to me already had a lock on it. I ended up with a 10x15 as that is what was available. I assume the charge will be for the assigned 10x10 unit as you were unable to provide the unit contracted for.
II was call about 5 o'clock the day before my move and told the 26.foot track was not available, and the best they could do was a 17 foot truck, had to make to trips to move my stuff. It cost me extra money.
I SHOULDNT HAVE HAD TO PAY TAX....I WAS AN OREGON RESIDENT AND UHAUL DIDNT HAVE ANY AVAILABLE TRUCKS IN OREGON..SO I HAD NO CHOICE BUT TO GO ACROSS THE BRIDGE A FEW MILES INTO WASHINGTON STATE..RIDICULOUS
I scheduled the return of my pods on the 2nd, but apparently the location was closed that day but the employee decided to not tell me and book the return anyways? I hired movers for that day as well so it was quite disappointing when I sat around all day and no pods showed up.
I was given help whenever I needed it. They were willing to work with me whenever I had any issues.
Customer service peeps were super nice and efficient. I've gone to this location on a number of occasions and it's always been a good solid experience.

Hire more people. It was super busy the 3 times I stopped in.
The first van I was given had a front end steering problem. The staff quickly delt with the issue when I called it to their attention by testing it and giving me a replacement van. However I was delayed by 30 minutes. Is there any way for me to get a partial refund for my inconvenience?
When I was overcharged for an after hours fee that doesn't set well with me at ALL! I returned it at 1:30 in the afternoon, I'm not sure what type of scam is going on but I'm glad I checked my final statement, just ridiculous
You guy are way to expensive. you got me there with your on line service 40 some odd dollars. By time I returned the the truck it was closer to 150 dollars. Classic bait and switch.

The general lack of knowledge about coupler height and best hitch height was kind of frustrating and mede me take trips myself to measure it myself. Also the lack of help when I needed a multi day car dolly rental all I got as a response was no that it is limited to 24 hours.
The truck I rented this time was a death trap. The front end was so loose you had to fight it just to keep in a lane. The steering was extremely loose and the suspension all around, SHOT. Still had plenty of power and did get the job done. My experience with the Hwy 99 location, all positive.

Contactless pick up was not contactless. The walk through online told me my truck was in the parking lot when it wasn't. I had to go inside to find out it was down a block, behind a building, in an alleyway. I ended having to go back to office because they didn't give me the key. The dolly I requested wasn't in the truck and when I called to notify them to cancel it off my order, they never did and I ended up paying for it anyway. I'll go out of my way to go to a different uhaul facility in the future.
The very first day in their parking lot I got a flat tire because there was a CRACK PIPE and it popped my tire-on hand manager was not helpful AT ALL. I asked her to input automatic payments so I didn’t have to think about the bill-she did not and I got a $20 late fee I didn’t even know about. I went in around Early December and my container was locked and I couldn’t access the building-had to walk to the office three different times and the boy there was not helpful-rude and when he finally went to unlock my storage after I had to walk back a fourth time he then apologized to my male friend who was there to help me unload AND NOT TO ME who’s name is on the storage, I used my card to pay and HE SPOKE TO THE MALE FRIEND LIKE HE RENTED THE LOCKER. Apologized to HIM for wasting HIS time-and not to I who had to walk back and fourth and deal with this bulls$!t. 0/10 I didn’t have a pleasant experience any time I went to this facility. And after I paid my late fee, the very next day I got a letter that said you’d waive the fee. I am so upset, still, half a month later.

Got charged extra for an extra day but it was a day early and never got my dolly or pads I was charged for. This is 2 times I have been ripped off by uhaul so never again will I use uhaul. There are other places that rent a cargo trailer

We were told to wear a mask and upon doing so watched the manager pull his mask down off his nose to help us, and when I told him that he refused to serve us and told someone else to help us. Seems like if you require your customers to wear a mask that the employees should as well.

I made a reservation for a 5x9 trailer. I was called 3 hours later to tell me that they don't have that after I had already reserved it so moved me to another place. My reservation was at 9. I showed up to the place and it was closed. No one answered my calls at the number. Then I get a call a half hour later from a girl laughing and saying oops we sent you to a closed location. They then switched me too another location farther away again. When I get there they don't have the trailer either. I was beyond livid at this point. Finally after showing much frustration they gave me a 6x12 but not without the guy telling me what a great deal I should stop complaining. RUDE!!!! I will never use uhaul again with this kind of treatment. I also am making sure I post this to every social media spot I'm involved in. Treating people like that is ridiculous.
The storage area was filled with stuff that people did not want and there was people sitting in furniture in the main entrance, I did not feel safe. The hours of access are not user friendly.
The U-Box concept was perfect for me. In hindsight my gear got moved with minimum wear and tear, so YAY! I filled up two U-Boxes at my pace, got them moved halfway across the country, stored at U-Haul facility for a few weeks while I sorted out my relocation and recently emptied them into my new home. However the whole process was a royal pain. From ridiculous phone hold times that get disconnected, to misinformation about billing cycles and a cumbersome logistical process. The experience was frustrating enough that I will look closer at alternatives when I bring the balance of my belonging to my new home.
When checking the lights on the car transport trailer I rented, we discoverd a bad wire. The U-Haul representative was able to replace it in a few minutes and get me safely on my way. Really helped keep me on schedule to pick up from the repair shop.
I rented my uhaul three weeks before I needed it. On the day of my move, I went to pick it up and was told that I should have received a call about my truck being broke down. I did not receive any call. I was told that I would be given a smaller truck and be credited $50 for this issue. I offered to go to another uhaul to get a bigger truck but was told that there were not any larger trucks. When I turned in the truck they refused to give me my $50 credit stating that “because I still got a truck and didn't have to go to another location, I could not have the credit. Absolute BS!
There was a mix up in the trailer I reserved. The definition/dimensions listed on the web site is completely misleading and false. When I reserved a 6x9 I would have expected to get a trailer that was 6' by 9' for cargo. Nope. not even close. Your staff helped me find the right combination and trailer that fit my needs and saved me a huge headache down the road.
I was charged 35$ for nothing. The website uhaul.com/share dosent properly work so i was unable to update drop n such . so will definitely not recommend or coke back again

I do not understand why you can't leave all your tanks full of gas so there isn't a game of trying to figure out 3/8 of a tank. Also, I was in a hurry and the first thing I absolutely had to do was gas up
I was very happy with the reservation process, the ease of picking up and returning the truck I rented, the value for what it cost, and the overall customer service at this location. I will not hesitate to use U-Haul again when needed.

Paperwork was messed up (I was given another van than listed in the paperwork), which caused the check-in in the evening to not go smoothly, and I ended up paying more ($5) for the rental than original quote even though my mileage used was less: no big deal in end, but deducted a star for this mix-up and this slight additional rental cost.
I have had to rent equipment 3x over the last three months. This is where I've returned all equipment and they are always efficient and kind.

I chose this site due to its closeness to the freeway (when I moved to Vancouver). The service I received greatly depended on who I talked to (either on the phone or in person). I had used U-Haul Storage before in another city and had great experiences there, so I thought that it would be similar here, but I was mistaken. I realize that the staff were more than likely overwhelmed with a lot of customers, but a little bit of niceness would have helped a lot. The covid measures put into place just made it more awkward....where do you stand, and where do you move?
1) Give the employees gloves! It is cold out and they shouldn't have to handle the metal to hook up trailers. 2) Get a new computer system that is better and make check in and out easier and faster.

There was glass in the parking lot and my tire got popped. I have pictures, I am very unhappy about this. The guy who helped me to my storage was nice, the woman was not helpful and I am very dissatisfied with her service. At this point I would not recommend this storage facility to a friend.

I was not able to move in the day that I wanted to move in because my card did not work and then the next day I went to move in and they said they were closed at 8:00 and the gate closes at 10:00 and they said no that was wrong so I did not get to move in the second day the third day I did get to move in but I was told I owed them money and I was supposed to get a free month I don't know what happened I decided at that point I'm moving everything out because one it was on the second floor split level had to walk upstairs I am disabled cannot walk upstairs so I said forget it and moved out I am trying to get my money back for my month of insurance but I cannot figure out who to contact on that so I will be going to U-Haul tomorrow and asking them who to talk to.. just make sure you're not in a hurry because if you are it won't matter they are very short staffed and nobody knows what's going on in the buildings good luck.
I never would have thought I'd be crying out of frustration at a U-Haul until yesterday. I spent 3 hours here moving a 5x8 trailer load into a storage unit. This location is severely understaffed, most employees are not trained in all departments, and the technology is slow. I arrived and rented a 5x5' unit, which went smoothly for the most part. When we got most of our stuff down to the unit, we realized it was going to be too small. I went back to the office to upgrade to a larger size, had to wait about 45 min for a staff member who was knowledgable enough to help me. The "only employee who knows storage" (their words) was outside filling propane tanks and a line of other customers were assisted inside while I waited for her. Finally, another employee came and helped upgrade us into another unit. Great, ran back to the storage facility to help my partner move our stuff down the hall to that new unit. Only problem, the new unit was actually already taken by someone else. I went to the intercom system and asked why they sent me to an already occupied unit. Someone said they'd be down "in a minute" to help. Twenty minutes goes by, haven't seen anyone. I call back again and asked if they had meant this other unit that had the same numbers, just in a different order. They said yes and they'd be down "in a minute" to get me a new key. A man came and brought me my third key of the day and told me "if you need help, just use the intercom, since you know how to use it now". Except this time, the key didn't work. I hadn't waited for the other two keys to activate but now this key needed "5 to 10 minutes" to activate. At this point, 2 hours into being at U-Haul, you'd think a manager could override the system, just let me inside and get me to the correct unit? I've been waiting around all day, every time I asked for help someone was going to be "right there" or "in a minute". It was never that quick. My experience here was surprisingly poor. Some of the employees are nice but it doesn't make up for lack of training and staff. I believe that the employees mean well, but they do not have a great understanding of how to prioritize customers, or are too busy, I'm not sure. My issue could have been resolved in 5 minutes if the sole employee with storage knowledge came inside and helped me. I understand there were people waiting to get propane tanks filled, but my issue could have been resolved quickly with her help. Getting through a whole line of new customers, while I was waiting inside for help, does not make sense to me. I would prioritize fixing the issue with the customer that was here first. I would not be leaving this review if things had gone that way. No hard feelings, I think it's a difficult time for everyone, I am just disappointed in my experience here. Thank you for your time.
I needed to move my storage unit to a spot that was more accessible and it was no hassle at all. I believe the person that helped was Kaylen Andrews or something close to that. She about 5'6 with long blonde hair. She listened to all my concerns and made sure I was completely taken care of. On top of that she remained very kind during our conversation. To say the least, she was a delight to work with. Thank you for your exceptional customer service!
I was needing to move to a ground floor unit and it was taken care of right away with a caring, friendly employee. So happy being a tenant
I got a storage unit because I was evacuating for the fire. When I got to your facility I was told I could not start storing thing because they were closing soon and the card reader wasn’t registering new cards. I did get a free night and mileage on the Uhaul truck, but I had to drive 45 minutes towards the house that I was evacuating and I had to worry about all of my belongings and a Uhual truck. Cole was extremely polite and patient so staff were awesome.
My move in was not a good experience. The staff was amazing and helpful but my key card did not work and the system was not communicating so there was not any way to fix it. This card issue created major difficulty because we had hired movers to help us. They were paid by the hour and had to wait for other movers at the facility to let us in. Luckily someone else was moving in so they would help us by using their key card. The staff said it would work in about 15 minutes, but it didn't. I used the intercom at 15 minutes and they said to give it more time. At 30 minutes I tried to call them again and it was not answered. Finally, after an hour I tried again and they answered and although my key card still didn't work they were able to set the doors so that they would open when we walked up to it. The staff was incredibly patient and helpful. It was insanely busy in the store and they handled the tech issues well.

Thanks to the security fellow who assisted me with locking up my space. I left the lock positioned in the open position and he called me to alert me to come and re-lock the storage area. I think that was a kind and practical gesture.

Key card never worked. Had to makemultiple trips to the iffice while the movers were on theclock waiting. Then despite the employees best efforts to get the door to stay open the doir would shut lockung us out. Spent over an hour dealing with uhaul issues. This cost me an extra 50 dollars in movers fee. The employees were great with great attitudes but the technical difficulties and added expense made the experience bad.

Was really pleased with the facility and helpfulness of the staff. Big difference from that incurred in Minneapolis. I also appreciated being able to return the truck to your facility vs. having to drive to facility set-up by Corporate in Portland.
The facility seemed secure. However, other renters would leave their belongings in walkways and loading areas forcing us to ask them to make a path or move their stuff. The staff should monitor loading areas to ensure everyone is safe and room for all to load and unload. The staff at this Uhaul are nice in person, but do not follow up on verbal commitments. 1. We were verbally told one price, but charged $30 more for our unit. The manager, Matt, did nothing except offer to let us move out. 2. Upon closing one unit, the employee committed to emailing us a receipt and closing document. It didn't happen and we were charged for the next month. Another complaint is when a couple rents multiple units, an access card should be given to each. We were told this is not possible with your system. And,, finally, all fabric (clothing, furniture, rugs) stink as a result of being stored.
The customer service associates were exceptional. Very professional and friendly. They were prompt to help resolve issues and appeared well trained. Expectations were clear and I got the service I needed at a decent price. Thank you.

Really amazing customer service. The facility was busy, but the staff made sure to give each individual with their full attention. Cole was really great, she took a stressful moment and made it pleasant. I came in not knowing what I wanted and cole took the time to show me each option and answered all questions clearly. The units are very clean and come at a great price. Very happy with the service and unit I got.

24 hour access should be available to all without extra charge/cost &/or stay open/accessible a couple of hours or more daily, 7:00 is just too early.

It is not logical to have the bigger size units on top, they should be on the bottom where it is more convenient for bigger items, and have ramps instead of stairs, its easier on the clients.
With the exception of issues with them actually taking my payment and saving the change they are good people. They did bring a remedy to the issues that I had.

The storage hours should be longer. It is hard to get moved on a Sunday when you only have until 5:00 P.M.

i think for $54 they could have left the box for two or three days. one day is rather quick.
