You can barely see a thing on a small picture on a cell phone... this should be done in office or you should use a large IPAD like they do at Enterprise rent-a -car. We blocked traffic and had a heck of a time getting it back on with the two of us With help from a passer by we got it on finally . My first reservation failed because the person before me extended his use at the last minute. No fault of the Uhaul location. I received the notification 10 minutes before my pick up time. One of the hooks on the safety chains was a little too tight to easily hook onto my Honda Ridgeline. Alyssa was great in trying to figure out a solution. In the future, you might want to have different sized hooks that can be attached to the safety chain with a quick link to quickly swap them out if needed.ROGER N.
Card reader does not work properly even when staff helps. Double opening door at 10am today did not open with card, code or employee code. Had to use code to get into walkin door. Pods not picked up until three days after agreed upon date. So-called "moving my help" was two young kids who were not experienced movers. Two pieces of furniture were damaged in including my custom made dining room table that was obviously damaged when loading but they said nothing about it! But perhaps the worst part of dealing with Uhaul is the 800 number that never gets answered.George S.

I set up automatic payments online then they didn't go through and I was charged a late fee, so then I called the office and set up automatic payments that way and then was charged a late fee *again* the next month. When I went to move out there were five people behind the desk, only one of whom was occupied on the phone, who couldn't be bothered to help me. The policy of not pro-rating after move out is also pretty bizarre. It's too bad that U-Haul is a monopoly without much competition. I cannot describe how you basically saved my life by allowing me several extension on my rental. As far as the storage goes when I leave in the storage unit well you know you never know if you'll be back to get it the only take the things that I need and leave the rest you're somebody else that needs it now make sure that I leave the key in town so that I can donate items out of my storage lock up while I'm out of town. I pray that other follow and that the storage or people don't maybe killing this year off of everybody not to say that I wouldn't buy a few hundred. called up to rent a storage unit for a 5' wide habitat that I got from work as well as a 1500 sq foot home and we went through 3 units (Not one time did they check the doors for proper access for me) assured me that each one that the habitat that I got would " FIT JUST FINE" so I unloaded the stupid thing trusting them at their word that it would fit ... it did not I was less than impressed, and due to the problems with the rental unit I had to leave the Habitat in the back of one of the rental box trucks (of which I was assured that I would only be charged one day because of all the hassles) I got charged for the full time (not just one day) and they never bothered to cancel my storage unit that I obviously would NOT be using since I couldn't get anything through the doors ... I love the 24 hour access & climate control for my electronics and paintings I typically work all day so everything else is usually after 10pm I love all the cameras they make me feel like my stuff is safe.... This is the worst uhaul facility I have ever experienced. Phones are rarely answered, you get the worst service from this place. Employees are rude. I rented a $19.95 truck, for a day only to find out it was for only 12 hours and the employee who rented it to me failed to tell me it had to be back by 8am the next morning and when I turned in the truck after I filled the gas tank which was not full to begin with, but the vehicle is parked on a slant so it appears the tank is full when it is not. My access was to be until 10 pm. I had moved quite a ways away and was trying to move out. I came in on a Sunday right at office closing (5pm) and my card wouldn’t let me get in. I went to the office and the girl was rude saying they’re closed and brushed me off. I said I have access until 10pm, even says so on my app. She just repeated “we’re closed” I went BSCK to the storage facility as 2 employees were walking away, I asked for assistance and they flat out ignored me. Turned around and looked, then kept walking away. Luckily another guy came. He spoke with me a moment, looked at my app to see the time I had access, and fixed it from his phone. As I had left my phone in the car and it was pouring rain I did not want to go retrieve it. I had no choice. It would be extremely nice if a FULL accounting of required information was listed in order to avoid confusion. Also, the 10x10 unit assigned to me already had a lock on it. The very first day in their parking lot I got a flat tire because there was a CRACK PIPE and it popped my tire-on hand manager was not helpful AT ALL. I asked her to input automatic payments so I didn’t have to think about the bill-she did not and I got a $20 late fee I didn’t even know about. I went in around Early December and my container was locked and I couldn’t access the building-had to walk to the office three different times and the boy there was not helpful-rude and when he finally went to unlock my storage after I had to walk back a fourth time he then apologized to my male friend who was there to help me unload AND NOT TO ME who’s name is on the storage, I used my card to pay and HE SPOKE TO THE MALE FRIEND LIKE HE RENTED THE LOCKER. Apologized to HIM for wasting HIS time-and not to I who had to walk back and fourth and deal with this bulls$!t. 0/10 I didn’t have a pleasant experience any time I went to this facility. I chose this site due to its closeness to the freeway (when I moved to Vancouver). The service I received greatly depended on who I talked to (either on the phone or in person). I had used U-Haul Storage before in another city and had great experiences there, so I thought that it would be similar here, but I was mistaken. I realize that the staff were more than likely overwhelmed with a lot of customers, but a little bit of niceness would have helped a lot. I was not able to move in the day that I wanted to move in because my card did not work and then the next day I went to move in and they said they were closed at 8:00 and the gate closes at 10:00 and they said no that was wrong so I did not get to move in the second day the third day I did get to move in but I was told I owed them money and I was supposed to get a free month I don't know what happened I decided at that point I'm moving everything out because one it was on the second floor split level had to walk upstairs I am disabled cannot walk upstairs so I said forget it and moved out I am trying to get my money back for my month of insurance but I cannot figure out who to contact on that so I will be going to U-Haul tomorrow and asking them who to talk to.. just make sure you're not in a hurry because if you are it won't matter they are very short staffed and nobody knows what's going on in the buildings good luck.Kim T. | Online Move In
I never would have thought I'd be crying out of frustration at a U-Haul until yesterday. I spent 3 hours here moving a 5x8 trailer load into a storage unit. This location is severely understaffed, most employees are not trained in all departments, and the technology is slow. I arrived and rented a 5x5' unit, which went smoothly for the most part. When we got most of our stuff down to the unit, we realized it was going to be too small. I went back to the office to upgrade to a larger size, had to wait about 45 min for a staff member who was knowledgable enough to help me. The "only employee who knows storage" (their words) was outside filling propane tanks and a line of other customers were assisted inside while I waited for her. Finally, another employee came and helped upgrade us into another unit. Great, ran back to the storage facility to help my partner move our stuff down the hall to that new unit. Only problem, the new unit was actually already taken by someone else. I went to the intercom system and asked why they sent me to an already occupied unit. Someone said they'd be down "in a minute" to help. Twenty minutes goes by, haven't seen anyone. I call back again and asked if they had meant this other unit that had the same numbers, just in a different order. They said yes and they'd be down "in a minute" to get me a new key. A man came and brought me my third key of the day and told me "if you need help, just use the intercom, since you know how to use it now". Except this time, the key didn't work. I hadn't waited for the other two keys to activate but now this key needed "5 to 10 minutes" to activate. At this point, 2 hours into being at U-Haul, you'd think a manager could override the system, just let me inside and get me to the correct unit? I've been waiting around all day, every time I asked for help someone was going to be "right there" or "in a minute". It was never that quick. My experience here was surprisingly poor. Some of the employees are nice but it doesn't make up for lack of training and staff. I believe that the employees mean well, but they do not have a great understanding of how to prioritize customers, or are too busy, I'm not sure. My issue could have been resolved in 5 minutes if the sole employee with storage knowledge came inside and helped me. I understand there were people waiting to get propane tanks filled, but my issue could have been resolved quickly with her help. Getting through a whole line of new customers, while I was waiting inside for help, does not make sense to me. I would prioritize fixing the issue with the customer that was here first. I would not be leaving this review if things had gone that way. No hard feelings, I think it's a difficult time for everyone, I am just disappointed in my experience here. I needed to move my storage unit to a spot that was more accessible and it was no hassle at all. I believe the person that helped was Kaylen Andrews or something close to that. She about 5'6 with long blonde hair. She listened to all my concerns and made sure I was completely taken care of. On top of that she remained very kind during our conversation. I got a storage unit because I was evacuating for the fire. When I got to your facility I was told I could not start storing thing because they were closing soon and the card reader wasn’t registering new cards. I did get a free night and mileage on the Uhaul truck, but I had to drive 45 minutes towards the house that I was evacuating and I had to worry about all of my belongings and a Uhual truck. My move in was not a good experience. The staff was amazing and helpful but my key card did not work and the system was not communicating so there was not any way to fix it. This card issue created major difficulty because we had hired movers to help us. They were paid by the hour and had to wait for other movers at the facility to let us in. Luckily someone else was moving in so they would help us by using their key card. The staff said it would work in about 15 minutes, but it didn't. I used the intercom at 15 minutes and they said to give it more time. At 30 minutes I tried to call them again and it was not answered. Finally, after an hour I tried again and they answered and although my key card still didn't work they were able to set the doors so that they would open when we walked up to it. The staff was incredibly patient and helpful. It was insanely busy in the store and they handled the tech issues well.Lisa A. | First Impressions

Key card never worked. Had to makemultiple trips to the iffice while the movers were on theclock waiting. Then despite the employees best efforts to get the door to stay open the doir would shut lockung us out. Spent over an hour dealing with uhaul issues. This cost me an extra 50 dollars in movers fee.
