I was extremely disappointed in my experience here. Things go wrong and I get that but it was with every contact I had with them. I was billed for a returned ubox. The boxes were not ready when promised even after I called and told them I would be there. She should not be in any type of management position.the assistant manager Jenny was very rude and condescending to me and my husband. She should not be in any type of management position. Great experience. One of the best improvements was the guide on how much gas to put in to bring it back to the beginning level. It used to anger me that U-Haul wouldn't just start off with a full tank, which resulted in them always getting some free gas from me. Now I feel like they're trying to be fair and honest. Makes ALL the difference in how I feel about them. Also, love the link they send to upload photos, etc. and the online check-in beforehand.DANIEL F.
I ordered a 4x8 trailer and got a message saying they didn't have a 4x8 but would upgrade me to a 5x8 for free. I called back to confirm the location, date, and time of the trailer rental. Everything was confirmed and good to go as far as I was told. However, when I showed up Saturday morning to pick up the trailer, I was told they didn't have one and that I needed to go to Beaverton to get one despite having confirmed the reservation at Hillsboro. After calmly explaining the situation, I was told I could not get a trailer (even though I have a voicemail confirming my trailer reservation at Hillsboro). Due to scheduling that day, I couldn't go to Beaverton in hopes that they might have a trailer, which is exactly why I reserved the trailer for 7:00 am at the Hillsboro location. At this point, trying to problem solve, I asked for other options of trailers and was told there were none, but I could get a van (over $100 more than the trailer and not what I needed). I then asked for a discounted rate since it was not my fault the reservation got messed up. I was told I could get a van but with no discount. In essence; I had a confirmed reservation for a trailer but due to the trailer being unavailable and being in a time crunch was rudely pressured into spending over $100 more on a van. There was no apology, discount, or anything, and despite my patience with the employees, I was treated extremely poorly. In fact, while I was working things out with one employee, another one interrupted us (multiple times) with irrelevant information since she did not know the situation or details. The second employee seemed very on edge as if she was going through drug or cigarette withdrawals end kept rudely cutting myself or the other employee off. The service was inaccurate, stressful, rude, and a waste of over $100 being pressured into renting a van when I only needed a trailer.DANIELLE LORRAIN H.

Hello, The experience was great. The truck ran great but the needle for the gas level was a little under full. I would recommend toping off the gas tank once the truck returns since you can run the truck several miles before it goes below full. This in fact cheats the next customer. ThanksCLAYTON JOHN MUR K.

Unfortunately, my experience with this Store, in Hillsboro, did not wend well. I felt I was abused and bullied by the store manager. When signing paper work I received instructions from the store manager where to park the moving truck, I was told to park it at a certain spot, but she never mentioned anything about a sign to avoid blocking the way to the back of the parking lot. I was supposed to bring the truck at or before 11 pm, I brought it back around 10:45 pm, it was dark, I did not see any sign about not blocking the driveway to the back of the park, I just follow the instructions to the letter as to where I was told to park it. However, I was charged $100 plus an additional day, even when I only followed instructions and brought it back 30-15 before deadline. I went back to the store the next Monday morning, I spoke to the lady working as store manager, same lady who gave me all instructions the Saturday when I signed for it. She was screaming at me at the top of her lungs, she was completely out of her place belittling me as a customer, I told her I was done with that discussion and decided to walked away from a bulling situation from her, she continued to scream extremely loudly all the way at me, until I walked out of the store, this was by far the most humiliating and the most bulling experience I had ever been through as a customer form a store manager. I cannot believe this person works as a store manager, what an unbelievable way to disregard the importance of a customer and his claim. I only followed instructions by the letter, she overcharged me for not seeing a sign at 10:30-10:45 at night, and the also charged me for one more day, per contract I was supposed to deliver this truck before 11pm, which I did, and all of this is beyond ridiculous. Furthermore, I have already spoken to an attorney, we are working on submitting a special letter to this store regarding this situation, they should receive it with in 5-10 business days. There were only 4 furniture pads in the truck but was charged for 1/2 dozen. Got a 15' truck with over 137k miles, barely accelerates and gave 2.5 miles per gallon. So, better checks on rental items and better serviced vehicles.MACHARA KRISHNA M.

The person at the desk did not tell me how to use the alarm system, so it set off. Then when I went back to the office to ask about it, she didn’t seem to have any concern that one went off, which seems like the whole reason for the alarms.
