Did "Express Checkin" for a 4x7 trailer. The web information does not show what size ball is required (2 or 1 7/8, I had 2 5/8). Upon arrival 40 minutes early and finding out I needed a different size ball, the attendant says, "you are early so you have plenty of time to get another one" and gives me a smile (not a friendly one). Not pleasant. I returned at 15 minutes till appointment, and assumed that I could get out of there at appointment time due to "Express Checkin". No, I waited in line (5 customers, 1 attendant at the registers) for over 35 minutes!!!! When I get up to the counter, I have to go through most of the info needed to rent the trailer again - what is Express about this process??? Then the guy tells me I need to go into the yard and pick which trailer I want - more wasted time. I selected the one I originally asked for, had to return inside, and FINALLY got to hook up and leave. I overhear the attendant say, "Gee, I don't know why everyone waits until Saturday, maybe I need more help". Ya think!!! VERY FRUSTRATING. I'll be trying another location in the future.

The vehicle was clean in appearance but had been heavily smoked in. I turned down 5 other vehicles first before taking this one. All were new with 251 to 2600 miles on them. After talking to employees there it was determined one of the employees that cleaned the vehicles and put back on the lot for service was a heavy smoker. All these vans and probably rental trucks need to have a ozone unit run in them to remove all tobacco smells. These are new units and still should have a new vehicle smells to it. Customers don't need to put up with someone else's bad habits. We pay good money to rent your vehicles and shouldn't have to put up with and inconsiderate employee. All your vehicle should have a "No Smoking" sign placed in them and in your contracts. Sincerely, Larry Christensen

First off my name was wrong and they never closed out my account so no refund given out I had to call and for them to do their jobs and close out their paperwork.and refund me my money as well send me a receipt. If I knew I was going to do someone's job for them I would of asked for a bigger refund.not to mention the apologies over voice mail with emails still addressing me as the wrong person means nothing to a customer.

The Forest Grove Storage staff that referred me to Hillsboro is to be commended for being so helpful, kind, and informative. The Hillsboro staff members were great on phone and in person, especially since it was at closing on Sunday. The price was lower than expected!!! A great experience with a great staff and great equipment. Towed like a dream.

We declined the insurance, and it was added to the charge. Also, we did not ask for, were not offered, were not given the utility dolly and pads, yet they were added to the charge. We were going through the long process of the online vehicle return after hours, (pictures and all) and saw we were charged for those things, so we drove (and were charged for) the extra miles to go home and come back in person the next morning so we could straighten it out. Every time we have used U-Haul, we get charged for things we shouldn't. Then we have to waste our time to straighten it out. Maybe you make extra income that way, because some people just don't want the hassle to question it. The response from the employee who did credit us back the amount was, "Yeah, that happens all the time". And there is always a long wait in line. We will likely rent from Enterprise next time.

$1.39 per mile is outrageous. $30.00 for 6 blankets is outrageous. How could I recommend this to a friend?

Filled everything out on line, including my dl,and CC #, got there 5 minutes before my pick up time, and still had to wait 25 minutes to get helped, Then had to wait another 7 minutes for the guy to get the vehicle out from between 2 other vehicles in the jam packed lot. On return, I went inside assuming I could just drop the keys, and was told to wait out side to be checked in. 15 minutes later the guy wandered up, I had the mileage driven and the fuel above where It was when I picked it up because there was no way to determine how many gallons I needed to put in. The gauge only had 1/4 1/2 3/4 ticks, and they wanted 11/16 on the gauge.

The guy that rang me up was an asshole to the customers and his coworkers. He made fun of the customer in front of me for wanting to rent a trailer to haul gravel instead of putting the gravel in the back of his truck. Then he was a real jerk to his female coworker that is pregnant. She was up working and he was sitting on his ass when I came in and he tried to make her help me so he didn't have to get up.

I specially called and reserved a tow dolly and spin arrival I was told that I can not rent this for the vehicle I was towing , I already owned a trailer I could have used why couldn’t I be told this over the phone when I made my reservation?

Computer system was down while we were there. Person serving us did a great job considering the situation. Access in and out of the facility is tight. I missed the entrance the first time and had to turn around and go back.

There was only one rep and we had to wait over 25 mins to get our rental after I'd already spent 20+ mins making the reservation over the phone earlier that day. He was extremely slow - no sense of urgency or efficiency with a line that was only 4 customers long so it should not have taken that long.

Cistomer Service was really terrible. I waited for a long time while the associate told me that he was supposed to be off and didn't want to be there. Then he went on to basically bark at other customers and co-worker, and at me. I am a store manager for a local grocer and understand what customer service should be and this was not a good experience. The manager then arrived and was ok. I finally was able to leave after my time there was 1 hr and 15 minutes, way too long amd no apology. Other customers were very frustrated as well. The guy getting the truck ready was nice while he was also being barked at by the older associate. The manager said nothing during this exchange. Then when I returned the truck another male associate was very rude. I have storage at this location and if I had the time would move my storage after this experience. Overall this location is always slow and just the associates are generally rude. The only two tht have ever been nice are the current manager and the male associate who readied the truck. There is no grace whatsoever at this location. As soon as I am able I will be moving my two storage units to another storage facility. I really hope something is done about this.

Not clear what needed to be done to drop off a trailer afterhours, what to do with the blankets and where to put the trailer, the trailer was too heavy to move so we couldn't leave it where indicated. Maybe it was so full because it was Sunday.

I'm not sure if this is for the pick up, or drop off. When I rented I was supposed to drop off in Newberg. I got a voice mail a few hours later saying I could not, and had to take it all the way up to Sherwood. This really kind of screwed up my plans, but thankfully the Sherwood store worked with my timelines in returning.

The pickup and drop off area are very crowded, and share the same driveway. So everyone ends up in each other's way and it is quite inefficient.

The location was moved from a dive minute away location to a 30 min away location. They did a bad job installing the trailer and putting our car on, we had issues along the way as it was done incorrectly and we had to make two trips to this far location because the insurance required it.

Our uhaul door broke towards the end of our day. I ended up sitting in a cold metal truck for an hour and a half. It took nearly 30 min to get through to a person on the customer service line and then an hour for help to arrive. I understand that things happen, but the repairman said that he fixed the same problem on the same truck twice in the past week. That is unacceptable that we were given a truck with a known problem. Because of the issue we had to pay the more expensive gas fee in order to return it before the office closed. It was a bad experience.
