We had a tv stand in this unit on the floor standing how it was suppose to and secure and that was in pieces by the time it got to us. When the guy was unloading our box with forklift he released the forklift to soon and the box slammed on the ground

Check in/out procedures are far too long. They need to be streamlined and shortened. Waiting in line for 45 minutes when there's only 1 person ahead of you and two agents working is pretty unacceptable.

Start every rental with a full tank of gas. Having to estimate fuel use is a painful drag. The guage is not an accurate measure of exactly how much fuel is consumed. You should install fuel meters so renters know exactly how much gas is used if you can't just fill the tank.

The customer service guy there overlooked me for a different person to come up after me because I was a person of color. I came in before that person stood in line for at least 15 minutes and he served that guy because he knew the guy by name and overlooked me like I was nobody and that was wrong

My husband and I arrived at our local u-haul facility after a 9 hour haul. We had confirmed reservations for drop-off and storage unit. However, the clerk disappeared when he couldnt find us in the system and some time later a manager appeared. He stated that I had no such reservation for storage or drop-off. There were about ten frustrating minutes of the manager stating (almost taunting) "We don't have your reservation and you SHOULD have the paperwork in hand". I let him know, as a manager, that to blame the person for the FU done by U-haul was in bad taste. When I made a call to corporate U-haul, they found our reservation right away. The manager still refused to process me or even look in the computer during the call. When U-Haul sent over the reservation directly his manner changed instantly. Suddenly I was a paying customer and not a vagabond looking for a free box to crash in. Even so, they were out of the storage unit, a 5x10 space. we had reserved to unload our belongings. So, a 10x10 was finally located and it was 2 times the cost. And the space was down a harrowing tunnel of fluorescence and metal doors that would have been ever so tedious to traverse and painstakingly slow to move items on a small cart down such a long hallway. We decided to put our stuff in a shed and forego any more transactions with u-haul. I would not recommend this U-Haul location bc management is rude and the line was so long. Several customers were told that the trucks or storage that they had reserved were not available due to overbooking and shortage of equipment.

I used your 24/7 check in check out online process. For the most part it worked well but the online directions to start the checkout and find the sign to scan was extremely difficult. It wasn't actually a sign it was a 8 1/2 x11 piece of notebook paper tape to a window. The instructions indicated it was a sign so I'm looking all over the lot for an actual sign. Secondly The aisle the truck was parked in was not what it said on my check-in and the letters indicating which aisle or Lane the truck was in were extremely faded and worn and it was difficult to find or read Thirdly the vehicle had just above a quarter tank of gas. The last thing I wanted to do on this day was to stop by the gas station and put fuel in the truck. I would have preferred the vehicle to be fully fueled which would have been one less stop in the morning. Overall it was a good experience but there is room for improvement.

I arrived at this location approximately 40 minutes before my due time. The employee who was checking in my return, did not take any time to do so while I waited for him, which took several minutes before he acknowledged me. Once being acknowledged, the employee told me to just leave the keys in the truck and a receipt would be sent to me. Much to my surprise, when I received the receipt next day, and reviewed the receipt, I realized that I had been charged an extra day for my rental (including the insurance fee). It seems, the employee did not register the actual time the truck was dropped off, but did check it in an hour later, putting me into the second day of the rental. Instead of noting that even with his delay of an hour or so, I had then only exceeded the return time by about 20 minutes. When calling UHaul to dispute the added charge, I had to wait on hold for 35 minutes to talk with a UHaul representative to get this extra charge removed. Additionally, I was charged an extra 8.2 miles (at your NEW rate of $1.00/mile) because I was not provided sufficient miles from the pickup point, to the drop off point, to include my actual destination. The drop off point was for the convenience of UHaul, not me, adding several miles across town to 2 cities over from my location. I find this completely offensive to your customers that UHaul selects the location that THEY want the truck returned, but doesn't provide the customer with sufficient miles (not to mention added gas costs) to return the truck to where they want it. Even though the representative I spoke with to correct this overcharge fixed it, the fact that it took an hour of my time to get this unnecessary charge corrected in the first place is deplorable.

The staff there was amazing and helpful. Thank you!! There was one lady in particular that was super amazing. I didn't catch her name but she was slender and was mostly working in the office. The last day I pulled my stuff out she was wearing a bandana in her hair like Rosie the Riveter. That was on Sept. 1st. Anywho, she deserves a bonus!!

Told lady who checked us out we were dropping truck off on Sunday. She showed us locations and we chose the one closest to our new home. After long day of unpacking, went to go return it and the place we were supposed to return it was closed. We specifically said we needed to return it on Sunday and the representative gave us options and we trusted those were all open on Sundays. We had to wait on gold for 20 min with our uhaul location and had to find new place for drop off. Finally found a new place that had to be close as we just filled the tank and didnt want to be charged for not returning it on full and dropped it off, were told we would get an invoice emailed, never received one. Very happy until the return of the truck started.

I would suggest informing customers the consequences of showing up 15 minutes late. I ended up getting charged for ‘two' rental periods even though I only had the truck for less than four hours because I was 15 minutes late for the drop off time which was 3:00. It would have helped to know that I was going to end up being charged another 30 dollars. If I would have known I would have rented the truck until the end of the day and just brought it back early. If that would have been communicated that would have been helpful.

On multiple occasions, the door nearest my storage unit was not unlocked requiring me to go around the long way with fragile items. On the last occurrence, employees could not find time to help due to a long line and I was advised to find another way around. Staff in the office seemed remarkably incapable and all processes took an incredible amount of time to complete.

We got a 2 or 3 bedroom space in storage got to our destination and the 2 and 3 bedroom storages are all up 3 landings not exactly the easy way of moving would have been nice to know before getting my hopes up in Salem Oregon to my over hour journey 3 storages later not fun I ended up going to 3 separate uhaul storage places . Let people know the large storage places are gonna be on 3rd landing right off the bat .Thanks ,Other than that my experience was a good one

There are people smoking drugs and living inside at least two units at this location. You can smell chemical odors when you drive by their open units, that appear never to close, only to get tarped closed. They also jump out and scream at you randomly while visiting your own unit. This went on for 4+ months. I attempted to message you via your website but got cut off multiple times. As a busy person with a business, it took me some time to find another option. But I’m thankful I did. As we were leaving another homeless person with a large full shopping cart was moving into the storage unit down the hall. Our lock looked like it had been tampered with and the unit door looked like it had been bent at the bottom. I’ve always had good service by you folks at other locations. This location is just horrible and needs to be rebought by corporate. The employees are unfriendly and unhelpful. I feel like they owe me for at least half of my rent back, due to negligence. I was paying for my things to be safe and they were not.

General manager let’s people live in there storage units! They are homeless people! When I talked to Ron he was very Rude and not wanting to do anything about it! I was told that he has a lot of Nice homeless people living there!!! The facility is not a home to live in. The whole place is filthy with used needles and garbage all over! I had to move out the next day. I was talked to horrible from Ron. I was also told that I should go look at other storage places they have the same thing going on there! Every time I went there I had to go to the office and report a problem. Mostly talking to Ron. I never felt that my stuff was secure there. Really all I have to say it WAS THEY WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD WITH A UHAUL! Thank goodness the 3 people I talked to on October 3rd 2020 were very helpful and understanding on what is happening there. Also Ron I did get a refund for a whole month there because of you! I am looking forward to talking to his boss soon and I am not going to hold anything back from him. I will never tell anyone to go to this location because of the general manager there. I have never been so disrespected from any MAN as I was with RON!! I could go on and on but I will be definitely not going to let this go till I get to the top person of uhaul!

This past winter, when my mom had to move to a nursing home, we chose this location purely for it's proximity to out home. We were so fortunate. We needed to rent a truck and get storage in a major hurry. The staff were super helpful, and the manager even helped us out with locks, because we didn't have the right ones, or the money to buy them right then. I am impressed with the security of the facility, the ease of access and the professionalism of the staff. I highly recommend this U-haul location for truck rental and for storage.

I had problems often being blocked from my unit by other customers cars. If there is signage to instruct people to park on the right next to the curb every one can get through.
