I was inspecting the Uhaul box truck that I was going to rent, and one of the workers backed up a Uhaul van—with the drivers side door and back doors open—and hit me. He never came over to ask if I was okay, until the person I was with went over and told him that he hit me. All he told me to do was to keep an eye on it. We went inside, the person I was with asked to speak with the manager, and the employee pointed out that the person working on the van that hit me was the manager. He didn't honk before he backed up, or anything. He came back over a second time and said he didn't mean to hit me, and to keep an eye on it. Very poor service and I got charged full price. I have a family member that works for Uhaul, so I told him what happened, and then he spoke to the manager, Ron, who was made to file a report. I'm very certain Ron otherwise would not have done so without the push of the family member that has a higher-up position.

When your local agents call to clarify something...corporate should not leave them hanging with just a recording on one of their busiest days for over 10 minutes! They were wonderful! Your support was not!

They told me the tank was full. The needle was at "F". I filled it up before returning it and it took 4.12 gallons yet I only drove it 8 miles. Chris said "you accepted the rental as full. Did you check it? I can't refund you anything" Shitty customer service. I won't be going back there even though they are close to where I live. Total BS

Our experience with U-Haul was awful. We rented a truck through self check out for a 7:00 am pickup. When we got there, poor truck was blocked in. It took 90 minutes and multiple calls to the general manager and the area President through a customer service representative to get our truck. We had movers waiting for us and had to pay for an extra hour needlessly. The staff at the U-Haul sore didn't even want to help us because it was before 9:00, when they would open. I will never use that U-Haul location again.

Courteous staff, well stocked supplies and vehicles. We enjoyed our little Ford delivery van which was easy to drive and load. We were able to walk in, order a small delivery van and get signed up in less than 30 minutes. That includes waiting for a customer ahead of us and no reservations. We would use this location again.

My wait time in the lobby was about 30 min. There was only one clerk working at the time that I could see. Some one else came in after that. Be aware if the number of customers in the lobby. Try to reduce wait times for help.

I was told by uhaul service on the phone that this was a location that offered after hours delivery, I was told by the workers there that they allowed after hour deliveries, all I had to do was go my myuhaul.com and it would walk me thru, turns out you can't RETURN A TRAILER AFTER HOURS! Spent tons of gas and time then time off work because you can't return a trailer after hours!

Second time the online system changed my pick up location without telling me. Thankfully, the location called to confirm. Again, the trailer was dirty (first time renting there was yard debris that needed to be cleaned out, this time, there was a stack of boxes). The customer service at this location is seriously lacking; no greeting despite people being behind the dest, dirty equipment, long wait lines. I will do my very best not to rent from this location again.

Great service as indicated by my survey response. However, here are two comments for the betterment: 1. My trip was 16 miles and I dutifully topped off the tank. It took over 3 gallons. It should have taken 1 gallon. There goes another $6. 2. The $2 add-on 'environmental fee' is annoying. Why not just included it in your cost of business. When you advertise $19.95 stick to it, or advertise for $21.95. The add-on fee practice is dishonest. I personally avoid businesses who practice this deception.

I reserved truck with corporate. I was told if we drove the truck to Salem after we were done, I could have a $35 refund. When I picked up the truck, I was told I had to return it to Tualatin. As I told the clerk why would I rent a one way truck if I have to return it back to the Portland area? I was told the Salem area was full and not accepting return trucks. I told him about the agreement to return truck to Salem and the $35. He said I would have to call the 800 number, which I did. I listened an interminable amount of time to your automated female gushing about everything uhaul. I pulled up my email but the link I was sent didn't work. I was rushed by the clerk to complete the transaction. Bottom line, my son came into the conversation and said we would leave it at uhaul in Stayton which is 6 minutes from his house. The clerk said that was fine. I'm very discouraged about your communication system because a few hours later I get the text to go to Salem. My son, on the other hand, would love to tell you what to do with the $35 and that is why you can find the truck at uhaul in Stayton.

The customer service team made it very clear that they couldn't care less about having my business. They didn't great me when I came in and when he man at the service desk finally did talk to me he was not at all friendly and acted as though I was wasting his time. Not a good experience at all.
