We waited 1/2 hr with a reservation. No one explained that we could just drop off key so we waited 1/2 hour when we brought it back too. Nice enough people but clearly have some training issues.

On pick up, only one employee was on duty and was clearly overwhelmed, made for a very long wait. The location is also hard to contact by phone, usually calls are routed to the call center or just straight to voicemail. A taillight fell off the tow dolly on the way to retrieve the car I was moving, fortunately I had some screws and was able to re-attach it. The website does not filter out locations that do not have the equipment you are renting. I requested pick up at a nearby location, was referred to a location 22 miles away from where I was, and had a difficult time finding a location with the right equipment in a workable spot. I have used Uhaul previously but the experience seems to be getting worse.

I was called last minute and told my truck would be at this location. During my reservation process, I was told it was guaranteed and there would be a $50 refund for anything that changed by U-Haul. I mentioned this to the worker and he told me he’d never heard of the guarantee. This was frustrating because the change in location was out of the way and cost me much more in gas and the “per mile” fee. The worker was also very rude, hard to get him away from his phone. He even yelled profanities, in front of my children, when he seemed to have read something shocking on his phone. I would not go here again, I would not recommend it either. I have used U-Haul several times and have never had anything negative to say until now.

Pickup was in wrong location and I didn't get notified until the afternoon before pickup, and I had to rearrange my schedule to pick it up in another town. Added way more stress to a stressful situation. Mgr was rude and unapologetic, they also got my return date wrong. Thanks to this experience I will never rent from uhaul ever again. Their slogan is way off, nothing easy about this rental.

Very strange experience. The rep that I rented from was not mentally present. Very rude and didn’t even inform me that the truck I rented had a potential problem with leaking and it stated that customer accepts the risk. I wasn’t informed of that at all. That was just one of the many reasons I found the whole experience very strange. My son was with me and also witnessed the odd behavior this repersentive has towards us.

Everything was great, but you should just state what's already wrong with the trucks before renting and making people take pics of them. It's redundant and takes too long. The truck was by no means "super clean", but it was fine for a U-Haul truck. Pretty much what I expected.

Using the app was a terrible experience. The check in portion took way longer than it should have. It took 10 minutes for a rep to review my pictures. Why couldn't I have taken them prior so I wouldn't have to wait around for some one to review. Also, why doesn't it ask for a front and back picture of my license? It just asked for a picture of my license and the rep had to ask for a back pic.

The milwaukie location charged us for a second day even though we dropped the U-Haul off the same day. The person we dropped it off with didn’t record the drop off, we got a call from Chris the next day and said not to worry everything was ok and we wouldn’t be charged. We were charged for an extra day and now no one has helped us reverse that charge

When I had originally scheduled my installation for the tow hitch it was on a Wednesday morning. The guy they have install tow hitches took a few days vacation and rescheduled my installation appointment without even notifying me. I wouldn’t have know at all accept for that I had called to see if I could pick up the cargo trailer that I had rented earlier than scheduled. After the installation and him hooking up the trailer, he didn’t do a walk around with me of the trailer for me to mark down damages that were already on the trailer from previous use, didn’t have me get in my vehicle to test the lights and blinkers to make sure everything was working properly, didn’t show me that I needed to tighten where the trailer hooks up to my vehicle every time I stop and before I get back on the road. When I asked him if this is what I need to check, he had an attitude with me like I was bothering or inconveniencing him. Come to find out after driving for two days with my children in our vehicle towing all of our belongings in the trailer I rented from them from Oregon to Las Vegas, when I went to drop it off for returning it, the man that helped me at the location in Vegas showed me where he didn’t put these rubber pieces on the three hooks connected to the chain s and my vehicle and we could have lost the trailer of of our vehicle at any time. I took pictures, have reported this incident to corporate, and hoping this horrible experience will get resolved.

The location was fine, but the app to turn in the truck was horrible. We kept trying to take a picture of the odometer, but it refused to accept one. I think the picture should be optional, or that the "bad" pictures should be accepted somehow. There were no instructions for turn in after hours if the app did not work.
