Customer service personnel was rude. Truck was not available and we had to wait an hour for it to get back to store. Representative did not offer any suggestion on what to do if vehicle didn't come back without us pressing her for a solution. Even with us waiting an hour for the truck, She did not want to honor our 24 hour reservation and said the truck had to be back at original reservation time or we would be charged extra.SUSAN D.

In the age of COVID, I think it is super important to sanitize your rental vehicles between each use. Upon entering the vehicle, I was equipped with Clorox wipes in preparation for sanitizing the vehicle in case it had not been prior to my usage. It was obvious that the vehicle had not been sanitized. There was visible dirt on the wipes that were used to clean. I wiped down the door handles, steering wheel, seatbelt, center console, armrests, signal switches, etc. I understand that it would take extra effort for an employee to add this task to their workflow, but I think if Uhaul added this courtesy, it would be an added value to the company and overall success in the area of customer service.THABI M.

There was only one person working at the site, she was great and very helpful. The problem is she was trying to juggle five customers at once and the drop off line backed up into the street creating a traffic hazard. Overall this whole uhaul experience has been my worst customer service experience in my lifetime. As I stated above I will never do business with uhaul again and warn others to evaluate your options before you take a chance with Uhaul.Mark P.

The front tires were worn till you could see the steel belts coming out of the tire. This causes the can to shake at highway speed. Unfortunately, this was only noticed after the vehicle was rented and loaded with our belongings. When we returned the van the attendant was already in their car about to leave, prior to 5 pm, and just told me to toss the keys in the night drop box; and before I could tell him about the condition of the tires he had left. I don't recommend this van till the tire situation is remedied; this could be potentially very dangerous to other renters.ROBERT K.

While this is a busy location with limited personnel, we found their level of support exceptional. I felt bad for the young lady handling the counter and customer rental pickups simultaneously. While we as customers may be in a rush, we have to be cognizant of others and their experiences. This was our first visit. The next day we came to pick up our truck and was supported by a young man and he was also very busy but took the time to assist us with various details related to height clearances and tips for the vehicle. Checking out the rental was a breeze and offered a discount to return to an alternate location which we accepted. Awesome team and keep up the good work.KAREN M.

The reason I wouldn’t recommend this location is that it is too small causing a lot of congestion. I had to wait about 15 minutes to enter the parking lot to get to the storage because of the many cars blocking the entrance. The male employee was extremely rude. I asked him a question about a different location and he gave me a smart ass answer then tried to clean it up. VERY MUCH RUDE. Teach your employees how to be respectful to customers. I order moving supplies and DID NOT RECEIVE any of them. The only thing I got was the dolly. I don't understand how I select the preferred location and then I'm sent across town (which is out of my way to pick-up a u-haul). That is the second time it has happen to me in MS. Any other time I've used u-haul I always had the my preferred location. That is extremely poor service.After this move, I truly don't think I will use U-haul for any future moves/services. I'm disappoint in the customer service and the company. Now I must file a claim for the supplies I order because I was charged for supplies i never received.KIMBERLY G.

This honestly was a terrible experience with Uhaul. I would never recommend it to anyone. I also did not have my equipment I ordered. They acted as if they did not care. Everyone at the Uhaul stores were rude besides the location in Takoma Park. Our truck start leaking on the way to our destination when it rained and that was terrible!BRIONNA E.
Uhaul tries to overcharge if you don't pay attention. I rented my equipment on June 5th and after a long drive, I still managed to return it on the next day, which was June 6th. On June 11th, I was randomly charged $87 for a 4-5 day late charge. If I didn't have a picture proving that I indeed turned all the equipment in on June 6th, uhaul would've basically gotten away with stealing my money. My biggest advice is to document, take pictures, record, and write down names of everyone and everything. Out of the 3 times I've used them, I've had 2 incidents to happen where they tried to overcharge me.Shemesha M.

The young lady at the Northview Drive location was very nice, helpful and efficient. I was in and out with my rental truck in 15minutes. The return was better. I parked the truck, she was in the vehicle checking the condition of the vehicle and closed out my rental in less than 10 minutes. The truck I rented is new, this is particularly helpful.
