The customer service was poor. When I got a call about the uhaul the lady was very rude to me.JEREMY P.
This location was overbooked for Saturday morning. I know it was out of the control of the young lady working, but when I arrived there was no truck available for me. She did everything possible to accommodate and made sure I got a truck Saturday, even hours after my scheduled reservation. I strongly suggest making sure equipment is available before confirming reservations.REGINA C.

I almost got charged for something that I didn't do and I think that y'all should make sure y'all check all vehicles before you rent them out and also be more professional and have a clear understanding before accusing someone.JAYLEXIA W.
The truck was not ready at the appointment time. Had to wait 30 minutes for truck to be cleaned. Website claimed that only 10' truck was available on Sunday. When we arrived Sunday morning there were 26', 20', and 15' trucks at that location in the morning and appeared to have not moved when we got back later that evening.CLARK S.

Customer service skills definitely need to be improved. Employees need to be better trained on the knowledge of their rental services as well as how to explain them to the customers. I initially booked my rental over the phone, everything went smooth. Upon arriving at the Shortcut rd location is where my issues occurred. The young man without a name tag had very little knowledge as to what he was doing, very little concern as well. He called Sheena who also was not helpful and had a very defensive attitude for no reason nor was she trying to hear my concerns about my rental. The truck leased to me was very loud and rattling the whole time I used it. And I really believe my card was over charged! Also there was a conversation being held about me in the store in front of other customers about me trying to get over on the company, which is not true I just wanted the fees to be explained to me, because I was told a Different amount. I felt that was very inappropriate. Had I known what I know now I would not have went to this location and will alert anyone I know whom is considering using. This location definitely needs some help on improving their customer service skills as well as knowledge on the company's rentals rates and fees.SHANTERRICA O.

My only suggestion was telling the renters where the gas tank accessibility is located. I've never seen a gas tank door like the one on the van and it took a while to find it. It's very simple once you know where it is though!Lori C.

Uhaul really need to get these hard working people some help! Despite there usually being only one person at the locations (Shortcut Rd, Edison) the staff was amazing and remained calm and professional. It is really unfair to them and your customers who have to wait longer than necessary.. my bigger concern is your staff.. it seems to be the norm with Uhaul.Harold S.
My experience with a headache in a half. The only reason why I use the truck on this day is because on the 24th. I was unable to obtain a U-Haul with three separate reservations. I show up and not available. The manager, she's sweet she just reserves me another one at a different location. I called before I left to make sure it was available and he said yes come on over 3:15 mind you the reservation was for 3:30 she told me to come early and when I got there. The lady couldn't even be bothered to look at me. So I called corporate get in touch get well get dispatched to the district regional manager whatever her title was. And it wasn't until after ten to fifteen minutes of talking to her(she seemed uninterested in helping me). I did a bunch of whining and complaining that she decided to find me a U-Haul. Mind you I was supposed to pick up the cargo van at 3:15. from the second location. with all the gas that had been burned. She reservation for pass road in Gulfport location and I droving to the wrong location (pass road in Biloxi), it was closed when I got there and I had to pick up my furniture before 6:00 before the place closed now because I ended up at the wrong location. I was not going to have enough time to drive pick up the cargo van and go pick up the furniture, so I had to wait. And at one point while on the phone with your representative it started pouring down rain like what sheets of rain and I was on the interstate so traffic driving slower. And that one person offered me the return of $50 that I end up learning about. But this day, the 26th was smooth sailing. In and out, then right. Which was what I was expecting on a 24th.JALISA F.
The unit I paid for had junk in it. The manager was holding the unit for someone but did not have it in the computer, that was unit 107. Unit 114 was empty but again not available according to the manager even though the staff member I was dealing with said it wasn’t reserved in the computer. My gate code wouldn’t work. Initially I was very disappointed with the number of qualified staff. When I was given a 15 truck, on return I found out it was not the one on my contract. Overall the experience was acceptable however I felt some of the staff were not interested in customer service.RANDAL F.
I stopped by at noon to see what time the store closed. There was approximately 8-10 people waiting to be served. I came back later and there was still several people waiting in line. There was only one worker there at noon and when i got there about 3:30 there was 3. the wait was not as long as I expected.Mark C.
I was supposed to pick my Uhaul up at 10, found called and was told I couldn't pick it up until 6:15. I had movers waiting for me in Hattiesburg at 4 pm. I picked up the truck at 2 but by then I'd been accessed a few of $200 by the moving company and UHAUL gave me a discount of $20 (for my inconvenience) . The last time I rented a truck a truck from UHAUL, it was Full of roaches and now this situation. I really feel like they no longer care about their customers. So disappointing!!LISA P.

The girls up front working the desk are the only people I met and was so friendly and understanding and helpful I enjoyed them and felt like they was family! I was asked when I needed to pick up my uhaul truck and I told them 7:30 am. This location is said to open at 7:00 am. I was running a few min late so I called and couldn't talk to anyone. So I got there a few min later than 7:30. NO EMPLOYEE WAS THERE! ?! Another customer was there and had been waiting since 7 am. When the ONE employee finally got there, things could have gone smoother. It didn't seem like customer files/website information coincide like they should. My truck was almost given to another customer bc we have the same last name. ??? The customer in front of me had reserved an appliance dollie and there was not one at this location. Seems like there could be someway to update the website with what is available at a location. When I got my rental, the check engine light was on. The worker said it's bc ALL of the vehicles need an oil change. This worker was doing what she could and was very pleasant but she needed help and should have not been the only person to show up. Upon returning the vehicle this same worker was helping another customer. There was now another worker there but sat there, offering no assistance until the other young lady asked him to help her. I thought that was very lazy, inconsiderate, and below the bar of work ethic. I have used this location before and I had no issues. Today, I was completely underwhelmed at the service.ERICA F.

Because of this company this was absolutely the worst move I've ever had. I was hit with an extra 100 dollar charge without being informed before hand. I had issues with my car getting stuck on the auto transport, and I tried to call to get help and no one, and I mean no one, helped. While the service at this location was great, my original reservation was for a store in Ocean Springs, not Pascagoula. My reservation got changed to a different location and I was not notified of the change. I only found out when attempting to pick up the equipment at the original location in Ocean Springs. The truck was loud and check engine light was on and when I came back to pick up truck gas fuel was not correct. Sheena the manager said nothing could be done about this even if truck was picked up after closing. She was busy and did not walk me out to the truck. The “climate controlled” storage units have no AC and so I am now paying for a storage unit that is not worth the price. They are shorthanded so while I was on hold for over 20 minutes I booked my reservation online. When I clicked confirm the website kept saying it was loading so I was surprised they had my reservation in the system when I got there. Uhaul needs to get more staff or fix their website you can't screw up both. I finally hung up the phone without ever getting it answered.RICHARD C.

You might want to try contacting a customer when you don't have the equipment that your customer reserved instead of just allowing them to pick up and finding out 2 hours into rental time that you don't have the equipment that were reserved for the customer. I ended up having to call U-Haul customer service to have them look around for the equipment that I rented from this location. The store manager was unable/unwilling to do this herself. So I wasted almost 2 hours of my rental time with the truck to sit on the phone trying to get the equipment I had previously reserved due to poor customer service at this location. I ended up spending over twice as much to rent the appliance dolly that I needed from another location that should have been covered under my original rental agreement. On top of all of that frustration, when I got my bill upon returning my equipment, they still tried to charge me for the dolly that they didn't supply me with. This place was absolutely ridiculous; I would never recommend it to anyone. I would rather pay twice as much and go to another company completely than ever go to this place again. When speaking to the manager on the phone she kept on interrupting me and not letting me speak saying ma'am, ma'am, ma'am as if she had something important to say or as if she was going to fix the problem.... She also told me she had no idea that I even had rented the vehicle until that very day when I had rented it over a week in advance. This is absolutely horrible service. Still waiting to see what my bill actually says or if I need to file a dispute with my credit card company.Aaron P.
