Staff could at least acknowledge a customers as they enter. 3 staff members and not one greeted me for at least 5 minutes until one of them was finished with a client. One other on phone second on computer. The pickup I rented was filthy inside and out. I will not return to this location again.

Let me just say- the manager of this facility is awesome. He gets 5 stars... He needs help, though because he's basically taking care of everything by himself. The staff he does have is totally overworked. I know this is a problem for many companies right now.

My location was changed without notice. Then after picking up my truck at new location I was switched back to dropping off the truck to the original location. Employees at the first location opened the truck twice looked inside an then did not lock the door and it went flying up while I was driving.

I am shocked that the storage facility does not have a freight elevator for the second floors. Fortunately, my load was light, but I am sure others are not as lucky. In addition, the time the storage buildings close is too early and not too practical for people who work during the day.

Truck was given to me with 1/4 of a tank of fuel. This shows lack of respect for the customers time. I upgraded to a 26ft truck the night before, the system says everything was good. when I went to pick up the truck they told me they did not have any. I had to uses a 20ft and was unable to complete the move due to lack of time. The inside of the truck was sprayed down with water and was drenched. It also smell like Hemp. I spent over 30 min wiping down the water from the roof, sides and floor. the truck driver door does not close. the entire seat was wet from rain. I had to sit in a wet seat all day. This is unacceptable and I not sure I will rent from Uhaul again in the future.

I appreciated the mention and benefits of the insurance policy and coverage. The lower cost option was mentioned, but not the more expensive with higher benefits. It might be helpful to offer both. All in all, it was a very positive experience from rental to return.

This was the most horrible experience. After driving 5+ hours and an email that said that the storage facility was open 5-10pm we were told that they don't allow people to load in after 5. We had literally no other place to put our stuff other than a small hotel room. We had a 5x5x5 unit and it's not like it would've taken us long to fill it. On top of that the facility was disgusting as well as the guys who were working. It was grossly irresponsible to use an excuse of we just haven't update our information on our email as justification for not allowing people but 10 minutes to load their unit. It was absurd, and we will NEVER use U-Haul storage EVER again.

When I picked up my truck I was sitting on a wet seat because windows were left down and reaked of marrijuana from previous users! I cannot believe rental companies are allowing there equipment to be used by these THUGS and for most likely illegally at that! What a shame

They are not truthful and money hungry. I made sure the truck was clean but still charged me $100 cleaning fee. I will be filing a complaint for fraud. God knows to how many people they are doing this to. Shame on them. Also the gas was almost 1/2 and that how I got it. But still charges $78 fuel. Crooks crooks. .

The first employee I had was great. When I came back the same night, every employee myself and my girlfriend interacted with was terrible. We came back to retrieve a auto transport and return two boxes. There were two employees working, both helping other customers. The blonde gal (not wearing a name tag) asked us what we needed. I told her it was to pick up the transport. She told us they would be right with us. When the next customer came in, she asked him what he needed. He said something in the storage building, and so she left us waiting while she assisted him, which meant left the building. We waited for 20 minutes before finally the blonde lady helped us. When we were finally helped, the blonde lady was telling her other coworker how she was so stressed out. When she asked us again what we needed, we told her we needed to return the boxes and retrieve our auto transport. At that point, she typed on her keyboard, and then started slamming the keys on the keyboard, again saying she's stressed, and then adding she can't do this because she's so overwhelmed. This was said OUT LOUD in front of customers. The guy next to her, who said he was the manager (which he clearly is not because I believe the manager Kelly helped us that morning) was not helping her at all, and when she would say these things, he just would say “oh” or something that was very dismissive. So here she was, slamming keys. So she told us just to pull around back and we can get our transport. When I pulled our U-Haul around, there was ANOTHER CUSTOMER who was helped before us! This customer was getting a 6 x 12 trailer. So I went inside, and then a different employee (rude gentleman, said he was maintenance) asked to have my keys so he could move my truck for this other guy. I stated to every employee in the office that we had been there for over 40 minutes just trying to pick up an auto transport and return two boxes. We are moving tomorrow and my best friend here is waiting at a restaurant for us. They then went outside to look for my auto transport, but then came back and said that they had to let the other guy go first. So yes, two customers behind me were in and out faster than me. I handed the maintenance guy our key, and my girlfriend went outside to watch, since our entire house was in that trailer. I was inside with the blonde lady employee. She was even more agitated, aggressive, and extremely upset. She kept asking me how many boxes I had, and when I would tell her, she would go right back to slamming the keys. When I asked why the refund was taking so long, she stated “what do you want me to do about it?” In an aggressive tone. So I looked at this emplotee and let her know that I did not care about the refund, and that I was just going to go get my auto transport. She stated that her job was stressful and had so much pressure, and at that point I just walked out. I would like to add that my current job, and all my other jobs over the last ten years (all management) are significantly harder than what she was responsible to do. But, I digress. So, I went outside, and waited outside for fifteen minutes to get my auto transport watching them install it to a ram truck, while another employee was standing next to me not installing our truck, but rather trying to explain why we came at the wrong time and it was our fault. That is absolutely not okay. So I replied and let him know that we've been here for now a full hour just waiting for the auto transport, that I was parked right next to, but had to be moved to the customer behind me could be helped first. Makes me feel really good about giving this company $650 to move across the state. So then this customer got to leave with their trailer, and I was finally able to get my auto transport. This install took fifteen more minutes. Finally we left. In my closing, I want to say that if our house was not already packed up into the 26' truck, I would have cancelled my entire reservation. The fact that I was not only subjected to an over hour long wait, but then passed up by two separate customers, told that an employee was completely frustrated and hear about how their job was so hard by the employee, and then told about how it was my fault by another employee. Read these experiences and tell me that this would not be your worst customer service experience ever if this happened to you. I will not be coming back to Medford U-Haul, or any U-Haul for that matter. I should also add I never got the refund for the boxes. It's $13, but the time to see my best friend before I move was more important than having to argue with an employee to get $13.

I was overcharged for my rental as the service person at the counter refused to adjust the time for returning the equipment when my pick up time was delayed. Additionally the person was flippant and borderline rude to me and other customers. And no one in that shop wears a mask or follows social distancing guidelines. I've rented from this location previously and have always been disappointed and disgusted with the unsatisfactory customer service and the arrogance the employees have toward customers. I truly dislike this location and really prefer to do business elsewhere.

I was shocked with the bill when it showed nearly $100 of additional fees; taxes, environmental, rental tax!!!. The other costs except for .79 cents per mile costs, were reasonable. The additional costs were not mentioned when I rented the vehicle.

trailer smelled like a pot farm - the apliance dolly was broken the handle to tighten the strap would not lock it was bent and would go over the stop - no lights on the right side of the trailer worked when i picked it up they said only the clearance lights didnt work but after i got the trailer loaded i found that no lights on the right side worked

Gary was really helpful. It had taken me a couple of weeks to find a storage facility with an available storage unit. When I finally had, I booked it right away even though I was unable to get there for a few days. Upon arrival, my access was denied. Gary was very nice and assisted me with getting the unit and providing me with a key card. Very happy with the facility
