The trailer we rented was covered in mud, sand and debris. We were unconcerned with the trailer appearance though as we were using it to bring things to the dump. The customer service representative was very helpful and told us there would be fees for the trailer coming back dirty as the trailer was being rented dirty.

Staff memeber that rented me the truck didnt make eye contact and looked down or away from me the entire rental. Very rude attutute, blonde lady. Then i tried renting for another week and sone hispanic lady told me no. So she lost uhaul an easy 200

Management lindsey was rude, arguing with me about what I was told on phone about using cash instead of credit card. Also brought up that I could rent from budget for same price but pay less per mile and was told "well why dont you just rent through them" after returning truck I came in to get my balance due back and it took 30 minutes for her and employees to figure out how to do it. Was extremely rude, short with words and unfriendly.

I had originally called and reserved a truck at the location at A1 Storage in Phoenix, OR, only to arrive there and see that they are closed on that day. About 25 minutes after my reservation was guaranteed for pick up I received a text letting me know that my pickup location had changed. This through my entire day moving off and made me late for meeting the people I had lined up to help me move. Thankfully I called U-Haul and they gave me a $50 credit, though I would still say that when I called the location or we could go to reserve my truck they should have told me that they would be closed on Thursday and I would not be able to pick up the truck there?! Right? I'll show you the automated system should have notified me at least 24 hours in advance that my pickup location would be different than the one that was stated in my email, not a 30 minutes after my reservation time to receive a text. Something's wrong in this system. I would still recommend U-Haul because usually it's pretty great. This was not a great experience. When I got to the location in Medford at 2410 South Pacific Highway, the woman working there was rather rude and short and interrupted me a lot, seems annoyed that I had questions about the coverage I was paying extra for, communication with her was challenging.

The staff including the manager were RUDE, condescending and just negative. I would not rent from this location again, Even if i had to pay more my experience at this location was so bad, one of the employees attempted to intimidate me by walking over and staring me down. I don't submit easily and met his stare until he broke it. What kind of store are you operating and what kind of people attempt to intimidate customers, CUSTOMERS?? I am not only putting this complaint here I am also going to write the Corporate Office to complain about this store and the employees that need retraining or dismissal for their actions. This cannot be the first complaint you have received for this location. If this is even read a WRITTEN apology by the manager of this location (Pacific Hwy location Medford, OR.) is warranted and necessary to attempt to rebuild any trust by this location. On a side note they also attempted to cheat me on the amount of fuel in the truck, however I looked and went back in to tell them the fuel level was NOT as reported, They didn't even go look they just changed the form. Clearly they knew what the actual level of fuel was and knew they were trying to cheat me. Pitiful JD

The Representative I was dealing with was very slow, lazy and didn’t seem to care. He screwed up my order and charged me for 3 day rental instead of 1. They took way too long doing the brake light test in the parking lot for a tow dolly, and really wasted my time...

The rate I found online was different from what I ended up paying on site, and I didn't add any protection plans. I don't think it was the fault of the personnel, but I was bothered by that. It was the difference of $50 dollars, not insignificant when the online price was $110.

The man who rented me the truck was friendly and professional. I can't say the same for the woman I first spoke with when I returned the truck, unfortunately. She was curt with me and the fellow employee who she demanded 'take care of it'. Overall, though, the experience was good.

The cab floor was covered in mud on both the driver and passenger sides. The man working didn't give me a contract or do a walk through inspection of the truck, he just handed me the keys and sent me on my way. After I returned the truck, I got a call from a uhaul rep saying there was no record of the rental and that I just got a free rental. I told him that my bank account was already charged, he said it was being refunded. It was refunded, but the next day, two more charges adding up to more than the original charge were taken out of my bank account! We're still all trying to figure out what happened, but I am very displeased with the horrible service and overcharging of my bank account. I won't be using uhaul again. With the drop off, my bank was charged money to fill the gas tank of the truck even though I filled it completely full, over what I rented it at before I dropped it off.

Please have the attendents inspect the equipment, including the tail lights when the items are returned or prior to the customers arrival. Although the crew did an excellent job and there was very good service. I was delayed for quite a time as we attempted to repair the lights and then switch equipment. If there were only one available that day, I would have been delayed with my trip for lack of available, usable equipment. Thanks for listening

I was overcharged a great deal of money and manager refused to refund. We were told the truck rented for $159 for 4 days with 250 miles. We were charged $567.80 There were two bills charged to me. One for $361 and one for $206.80. Manager Lyndsey Lane refused to do anything about it. I got so mad I was screaming at her in front of employees and she threw me out of the store. I called customer service. Reference #2121154 and it will be 48 hours before anyone calls back. Terrible service. It should be handled immediately. We were charged a base price of not $159 but $361. and although the truck was returned on time, we were charged an extra day and extra coverage. We were also charged extra mileage even though we were told that the truck needed to be returned to the same place where we rented it to get the special $159 price. Horrible service. Horrible. Horrible. Horrible. And why does a customer have to wait 48 hours to hear from a customer service rep after explaining what happened?
