Great full service U-Haul facility

Checking the truck back in on line was a challenge. I spent more than 45 minutes on site, partly due to connectivity issues. Once I got over the technical issues, the work of taking pictures began. The process was over all very easy but time consuming.

People were very nice, I'll give them that. But we had a lot of issues with the overall experience. Truck we reserved was not available, so we had to get a smaller size. This forced us to make two trips instead of one to move. Of the trucks that were available, one wouldn't start and the other had a little over 1/8 of a tank of gas. They wouldn't fill it up for us, but told us we could fill it ourselves. They said they deal with gas thieves a lot, so it was possible it had even less than that, so we should check before we leave. We rented a dolly, but when we got home with the truck, there was no dolly, so this made it harder for us to move furniture. Also, as we were picking up the truck, a lady stormed out of the customer bathroom yelling about there not being any toilet paper. My family has used U Haul for years, and this was not our best experience. I hope this isn't typical of this location these days.

The equipment was dirty inside.It needed fuel before I could move. When I tried to return the equipment there was no one to receive it. I promised an discount for delivery to a different location 40 miles away and didn't get the discount.

I filed a complaint with the Assistant manager about a person Named "Jess" I spoke with and am very much expecting a phone call back, or will be following up further...I usually get great customer service and can say the Assistant manager was very pleasant. However, recommendations won't be happening until this is felt with!!!

Everything was perfect. The representative was prompt and explained everything clearly even though I had recently been in to rent a vehicle. Returning the vehicle was quick and easy. That gentleman was courteous and friendly.



The location was woefully understaffed when I returned the trailer. Three employees working hard and fast and eight customers (nine including me). The bottleneck is the COMPUTER system! Too many redundant pages to scroll through and half the time the computers are "slow". Someone at Uhaul corporate gets a six-figure salary to oversee the human/computer interface, correct? That person has probably risen through the ranks to an IT position that he/she is completely unqualified for.

I rented a uhaul yesterday to move. I ended up needing it longer than the few hours i initially thought. I called into customer service and they said as long as I had it back before my rental time the following day it would only be a one day charge. I returned the vehicle today before my time of rental yesterday and got charged a second day. I am not happy and will be making another phone call today.
