We use this location a lot out of convenience for our business. However, there is never parking for a personal car which makes it really stressful and a overall poor experience. We aren't In a position where someone can just drop us off. We had a few poor experiences with the overall age and maintenance of the trucks, but the real issues is the need to accommodate more parking or we will have to take our business somewhere else :(Danielle L.

Evan needs training or shoukd find a new line of work not in customer service. Told me he makes 19 per hour he dosent make enough to type an email or re-assure me i wouldn't be charged instead got additude and he hung up. Van stunk like shit so bad and had animal hair covering entire seat that we did not do our whole intended trip. Had to bring it back and now re coordinating our haul with another service. I should have been comp-ed the entire fee but was still charged for a day of use despite not being able to do our whole move! Lousy service Catherine was nice upon return but really thats it. I rented the trailer for 24 hours from 930am to 930am. I get a call later in the day that they made a mistake with my reservation and I had to bring it back the same day before they closed. I told them I reserved it online for 24 hours and my contact had it for 24 hours. They told me too bad we need it back tonight like it was my fault. The person didn't offer any solution so I had to chang my plans and brought it back earlier than I wanted. In person I tried to get partially reimbursed for their mistake but they told me they can't do anything at the store level.Karim M.
Be prepared to wait a bit. I had a truck pick up scheduled for 8:30, and I was admittedly 5-10 minutes late. But I didn't actually end up leaving until 9:15. I had movers at my apartment at 9am. I am not faulting the employees, especially as the person who was helping me was very new and the customer ahead of me was not the easiest, but don't expect to walk in and walk out with a truck, which is what was going to happen in my head. Also, they give you the truck with only 1/4 tank. I had to drive 3 hours with few options for gas in between and had no idea how much I needed so I just filled the tank. You don't get a reimbursed for returning it with more than the 1/4 they gave it to you with. So ask about average miles per gallon and do the math on how much you'll need to get to where you're going.MONICA D.

My rental experience was fine, right up until it came time to return the truck. It was after hours, so I had to attempt to use the Uhaul.com/share website, which utterly failed. After logging in with my phone number and finding my reservation information, the system would not recognize that I was at the Uhaul location where I had rented the truck. I opened every aspect of privacy on my phone and tried a dozen times to â€œallowâ€ the system to â€œverify my locationâ€, with no success. After that didn't work, I waited on hold for thirty minutes with the 1-800 â€œno serviceâ€ number, where after being told at least 100 times that my call was very important, no one ever answered. A follow up call in the morning, to the rental location, after being billed the extra $20 â€œconvenience chargeâ€ because someone had to check the rental back in, got me nowhere. At first, I was told I was charged the extra $20 for parking in the truck parking spaces, rather than leaving it in front of the building blocking traffic. After explaining what had occurred and asking for a refund of the $20 charge, the person I was speaking with was â€œnot authorizedâ€ to provide that kind of refund and they would have to speak with their manager and call me back. Needless to say, I have heard nothing from Uhaul about the issue with the website, the inconvenience of being on hold for thirty minutes or the $20 refund and it's doubtful that I ever will.PATRICK ROBERT D.

I think that if your going to make your customers return the trucks with the same amount of gas as when it was picked up, then all the trucks should leave with a full tank of gas. That would make it way easier on your customers, instead of them worrying about refilling it to exactly a quarter tank or whatever it was at when it was picked up.Gary B.

I dropped the vehicle off 7 minutes after closing time. Although it wasn't due until 1:00 p.m.. the next day, I called the location 15 minutes before closing to say I'd be a few minutes late and was told "just drop the key in the mail slot". The following day, I checked my e-mail to find the final bill included a $20 charge for a drop-off fee. When I called to determine what it was for, I waited on hold for 30 minutes When someone finally answered, I told the person I wanted to discuss the charge, I was told "you'll need to talk to Customer Service" and was immediately put on hold again with an expected wait time of 42 minutes. My pickup time was 9am. I got there around 8:15am. A woman was outside, ready to help, and she walked me through how to pick up via mobile. At no fault to U Haul the part did not come in when it was scheduled to. I did find the part in Hillsboro with help from Amanda at the Sherwood U Haul. She was a big help and got the job done when I didn't it.Richard T.
The two employees that helped me, Amanda Wyland and Evan Poole, were outstanding. Both treated me like a customer not just a consumer (there's a big difference). I had to make some changes to my on-line reservation and Amanda very swiftly and cheerfully accommodated me. Her attitude so impressed me in this pandemic age when so many business people are only grudgingly or completely unwilling to even listen to what their customers need. Great job, Amanda! You redeemed my faith in the human race. The same goes for Evan. When I returned the truck with a full tank of gas, I mentioned that I had put 8 gals of gas in it even though I had only driven a total of 37 miles. $35.00 of gas for 37 miles! He unhesitatingly saw how crazy this was and gave me a partial discount for the rental. This guy was incredibly reasonable and fair. Another Great Job! The first rental was a 10 foot truck, and the front windshield was dirty inside and out, which could have been dangerous to drive. Unfortunately, I underestimated the size of a van I needed, and had to return and exchange it for a 15 foot truck (which did have a clean windshield). Computer system is not in line with the people and products in store. System let me schedule and pay for a hitch that was not even in stock. 5 days later, the day before the install, I got a text saying don't bring your car in we don't have the parts. We planned a move from Oregon to Oklahoma based off the date the system schedule for our install. Had to wait another week. Which cost us thousands of dollars in lost wages, money spent for housing for an additional week plus expenses since we had left our jobs. Again, all based on a scheduling/inventory error. The actual people, minus the late text to inform us of the situation, were very understanding. Do not expect to reach a manager though. We were told, "you have as much luck at reaching them as we do. Mark the manager and or supervisor gave my password / code to a person who paid for a unit but was not currently on any contract within the facility. Allowing that person access to the facility, this person then broke into my storage unit and took my safe containing jewlery,, my tools and anything else valuing approximately $5000 o4 more. I later was able to negotiate most of it back since I know this person and this person felt that I owed them personally. When I made the complaint and asked Mark about this he played dumb to the situation and lied to me about it. It wasn't until this same person and I were at this storage facility at the same time, were they able to point Mark out as the person who gave them the password/code. Mark then went on to over exaggerate small situations that I had possibly been wrong in, yet other uhaul customers were doing the same thing. He began speaking to me rudely, threatening to kick me out and ultimately only allowing me access during business hrs, locking my storage units with uhaul locks. This posed a problem for me because I work nights at times and daylight hours were hard for me to work around those restrictions. When my account was restricted I continued to be charged a $10 24hr access fee for months. When I was charged incorrectly for various reasons throughout my stay, he would not correct the error and locked my account to where only him and John, his manager, had access to making any changes or adjustments on my accountI. He took my photo on a cell phone without my permission, assuming I was doing something wrong. And I was NOT! I was infact working very hard to clean up a mess during the moving process where shampoo got all over a box and its entire contents.I feel like it is a complete violation of uhauls policy, if not against the law for a manager or supervisor to give out the code to someone who is not authorized on any account, nor are they an account holder bound by a contract with U-Haul. I was a little confused about having to arm and disarm the security on my unit. I did not realize I had to enter a code until I tried to access my unit a few days after check-in and an alarm went off. That was the only small issue I've had, and it was clarified when I asked about it at the front. Absolutely love to use this haul place to rent trucks and now store some of my sons college stuff. My only frustration was with he truck rental where I only had a little over a 1/3 tank so I needed to get some gas on my way to corvallis and then some more before returning.
