The truck had an alignment issue that made it very difficult to drive. With the windows open the driver side seat belt banged very loudly and constantly.

We booked our U-Haul in advance for a one way trip to Elliot lake ! The day of pick up we were told we could not have the truck. They said we would have to drive it back for 8 am 2 days later . We were also told there were no 20 + footers available in the local area only to find out the stayner location had 2 . We are angry that Ohana U-Haul would blatantly ignore our request for a bigger truck and cancel our reservation on move day is disappointing and disgusting! I will never use U-Haul again unless we are reimbursed 1/2 our moving costs . Ohana U-Haul should be shut down ! The Ultramar in stayner is excellent, the Elliot lake U-Haul at C&R variety is excellent! Both locations are baffled by the behaviour of Ohana U-Haul . Please consider what I have said as I’m getting ready to write a similar but more detailed article for every social media outlet I have . Insta facebook tic tok ect !

The person attending gas station and processing truck rental is the same. Made a big mistake that changed the cost of the rental by about $360 CAD... Had to submit a claim and waiting to see how this will be resolved

The attendant can not speak English very well. He was looking after a drive-through serving coffee, donuts and sandwiches while I waited. Then had to poss our transaction twice to gas customers.

The manager was a dick, never answered the phone professionally to let me know I’d dialed the correct number, , ..sounded like I’d called some meth house, he had no people skills at all, and when my girl went to pay for me because I’m disabled, she reported back to me that he treated her like a dick. The other two men were helpful.

All good, but had to be a bit patient as location was at a gas station/coffee shop. Not sure but I was offered some discount for having to pick up at another location last minute. Don’t think this was applied to invoice. Other than that great guys.

They didn’t understand to much English. Not for anything but nobody even came out to show us how the dolly operates or even to check us leaving to make sure everything was safe. Not cool. Even though I knew how to do everything because I’m a contractor but if it was one of my kids or grandchildren and somebody would’ve got hurt because nobody explained the use of the trailer or the safety aspect of it. Someone would’ve definitely got sued big time.

Uhaul needs to maintain their fleet the vehicle swayed alot. But otherwise this vehicle was better than others I have used.

Initially I was very impressed with the accessibility and responsiveness of this location. Booking my reservation was a breeze! Picking up my rental trailer was a different story. I had to wait for over an hour while the clerk tried to figure out how to process the reservation, there were no instructions to connect the trailer to my truck and it wasn’t straightforward. The chain was way too long and the clerk did not check the connection. It was only when I got to my pick up spot that I realized I had connected it wrong - thankfully someone was able to assist me before I loaded my tractor onto it! Drop off was straightforward. I received numerous emails and electronic receipts, hopefully only because the clerk booking me had no idea what he was doing and not because I was double or triple charged. I will watch for that!

They tried to charge me 10 dollars to park the trailer. Then told me my car sucks . Then started yelling at me and told me to get off the property for no reason. I called the cops too. Worse experience ever.
