I would specifically like to thank the worker at this drop-off location. There was some issues outside of their control that was going to be a major inconvenience, and they went above any beyond to find solutions, call other locations, and then in the end, just be a great employee and make it work, saving us so much time. I’m very appreciative of their great work!

The staff member attempted to overcharge us. I went into the store with my sister and brother to pick up a vehicle. When I asked for the total cost, explaining that I would be driving დაახლოებით 60 km, he told me it would be $70 per 20 km. That didn’t match the rate listed on the check-in sheet, which clearly stated $1.09 per kilometre. When I pointed this out, he changed the total to $119 without providing a clear explanation of how it was calculated. The inconsistency was concerning and felt misleading. I’ve used U-Haul many times before and never had an issue like this, but based on this experience, I won’t be returning to this location.

The truck itself looked like nobody cleans Them. I have used uhaul at least 7 times in my life and this is the only time I have had a negative experience

Tony RYou have to wait for them to open. Secondly my first bill was ridiculously high and this one was fair. It’s hit and miss and that first rental was seriously high. What was up with that. It deterred me from renting again. I used the van under hours. The first rental was on a street and it snowed and no brush. It was ridiculous because I had to walk a block for a snow covered van without a snow brush. They charged me more than hours used etc. it depends on who works there. Very lazy person on my first rental. That was a ridiculous journey to get to the van. There’s more.

FREDERICO ZI had bad experiences with U-Haul before but this time everything was perfect. They gave me one extra hour free and of course I followed all the rules, so no surprises when I paid my bell upon returning it. Very recommended!

RALPH FI ordered packing supplies online for pickup at the Box Shoppe location (1355 Gerrard St E). But upon arrival, I was told that they do not have any boxes of the size that I ordered. Ultimately, we agreed that I would pick up boxes of a different size, the attendant did not read through my order properly and did not give me the packing paper until I asked for it. The rental pickup at 456 Parliament St was fine, the staff helped us pretty quickly with the ordered dolly and furniture pads. However, I purchased a UHAUL couch cover that I didn’t end up using. And when I tried to return it at the same location less than 6 hours later, I was told it is not possible because I didn’t have a receipt, even though they didn’t give me one at the time of purchase. Overall, not the best customer service, it is probably best to be certain what you paid for, be prepared to not get what you ordered in advance and always ask for receipts.
