I prefer this location because they always have available equipment and pick up/drop off is quick and easy.
JUAN GThe truck I had Has two issues. The right side mirror does not stay in place. As the truck moves it tilts towards the ground making it hazardous when changing lanes. Needs to be tightened. Also a high pitched chirping in the cab while driving on the highway. Very grating and distracting.

ALI GCargo door latch on truck was broken which required me to use rope to keep the door closed. Truck was filthy (cab full of mud and dust). Passenger side mirror would not adjust. Fuel tank was half empty at pick up.

Yuyang TThe back door sticks on one of the trucks units I rent often from them and they have not done anything about the back. When I made my comment the first time. And they have hours posted on and say they are there but the door is locked and the lights are off. But they are actually there because I have called and they say to go around back and he is there. The person who runs it probably lives in the building above as well so it make it’s easier for him but it’s the extra bits of time these little things cause delays.

Nischal NU-Haul should let customers know when after-hours service with a key dropbox is available at the dropoff locations they suggest. I spent quite some time parking the truck properly and taking the pictures as the U-Haul app requested only to find out that at the end there was no place to leave the keys. Had to go somewhere else.
PEDRO SHi, I just wanted to let you know that the truck I rented was in really bad condition. The inside was quite dirty and clearly hadn’t been cleaned before I picked it up. Mechanically, it also didn’t feel safe the front suspension was making loud noises, the ball joints were loose, and the steering wheel kept shaking while I was driving. I honestly didn’t feel secure on the road and it made the whole drive stressful. I just wanted to bring this to your attention. Thanks

BEATA SCheck-in process was much improved from my last rental here, however the parking area is pretty tight to maneuver. Truck worked fine but interior had garbage left from previous rentals and could use a clean.

Tony Rthe furniture dolly I rented was only a cart for moving bread in a supermarket - it was extremely unhelpful. The rental cost was only $7 but I needed it, which is why I arranged for it, and then the cart ended up being somewhat useless.

ANDREY LI had a great experience renting a U-Haul truck at 456 Parliament street location . The customer service was excellent- friendly, professional and efficient. The truck was almost new (maybe even brand new!) and very clean, which made the move smooth and easy. I’d definitely rent from them again.
VINCENT AI was charged a $25 cleaning fee because the back of the cargo van had some dust. It’s a cargo van. Is it not part of your service to clean vehicles between customers. Passenger portion was left spotless.

IBRAHIM DDear Sir/Madam, Re: Complaint regarding rental experience at U-Haul Parliament Street location I am writing to express my disappointment and concern regarding my recent rental experience at the U-Haul location on Parliament Street. On September 8, I rented a van from this location for a short period of 2 hours. Despite having the van in my sight at all times, I was shocked when the representative claimed that I had caused damage to the vehicle upon its return. What was even more disturbing was the representative's behavior, which I found to be rude and accusatory. He claimed that I had been told to take a video of the van before and after use, which I categorically deny. In fact, I was alone when I rented the van, and no such instructions were given to me. Furthermore, when I asked to see the video footage that supposedly showed the representative giving me instructions to take a video, he refused to show it to me, stating that he would review it later. This lack of transparency and accountability has led me to question the business practices of this location. I am concerned that this may be a case of an insurance scam, where the location is trying to pass off pre-existing damage or maintenance issues as new damage caused by customers. I urge you to investigate this matter and take necessary steps to ensure that your customers are treated fairly and honestly. I would appreciate it if you could look into this matter and respond to me regarding the actions you will take to address my concerns. BRIAN BHidden fees, damage waiver comes with deductible which is ridiculous .. you renting a car for 1 day which is supposed to be 24 hrs, but dude told me upon my arrival it’s up to them if it’s actually 24 hrs or not Anyhow, service trash, cars are dirty - if you compare to enterprise car rental , U-Haul is a joke!
IGOR IMake just a cosmetic repair of the space, looks like I came to the garbage site in 3rd world countries. Please dedicate some money to tidy this place. It is a shame, next time I would rather go to the Enterprise site. The manager intimidated by telling that he will charge 2 or 3 times if we don't return the car on time. The car was okay, but I couldn't adjust the driver's mirror as I wished. The transmission lever does not shift slightly.

Tony RIf they offer the option of renting out a Utility trolly, they need to make sure that they have enough of those to offer. It was very annoying not having to get it after adding it to the order!

Day RMaybe a quick run over of some of the features of the vehicle, I'm used to a gearbox that isn't on the steering wheel and finding out how to adjust the mirrors took a bit. Great location though, easy to use, would go again if I need to move things! Thanks!

Tony RDo far so good. This is the 3rd time I rented from this place in 2 months. They always answer the phone or call you back if they are with a customer. Vehicle you rented is ready to go when you arrived. Just one feedback regarding equipment rental, make sure have enough equipment such as dolly or trolley to move furniture for all your clients. Sometimes you can have one or the other not both. Otherwise great experience dealing with this location
Cheryl AEverything was smooth and transparent. The agent was friendly and efficient. The van had a lot of dings, dents and scratches... too many to document very well. The agent suggested taking pre and post video of the whole vehicle... no issues with that, just took a bit of extra time I hadn't accounted for. But overall a great experience. Thank you!

Nathan JNot sure where to park, door was locked but someone came to grab the keys, however it looked like a mess inside. Parking in rear was uncertain, basically in an alley im downtown Toronto. My wife was concerned for our safety.

DOUGLAS CExperience was okay overall, a few areas for improvement: - no staff was there when I showed up for my reservation at 10:30; he didn't arrive until about 10:45 - the 2nd staff member I interacted with when I returned the vehicle lost the key and called me thinking I might have. Not a big deal, but just seemed a little disorganized
