It wasn't able to check in the truck after hours, the website would not work. Luckily, an employee happened to be there to help me or I would have had a big problem because I had to return the truck at that time.MEGAN L.

The u-haul app has to many flaw's it would not allow me to check on on time picking up and dropping off the trick. I had problems unloading photos to complete the process. The check engine light is on inside the truck as well as the seatbelt light not working properly it beeps constantly. The customer service was good just the equipment not up to standards.Eric M.

It was an older truck but it had good braking.William P.
My wife made a reservation 10 days prior to find out a day before we supposed to leave that the unit in sycamore wasn't available and so it begins she spent hours on the phone trying to get answers only to asked for a supervisor to assist and finally located a van in Schaumburg we also needed a car hauler that turned in to another fiasco trying to find one close to us eventually in Des Plaines after spending hours on the phone with the move being so close finally it came to moving day and we went to Schaumburg to pick up the unit Got there 8:am place was still closed .There was mechanic in the shop who came over and I advised him that we had a reservation to pick up a uhaul and he had to call his daughter on the cell phone to go over the particulars he wasn't wearing a face mask and then he handed me his cell phone I was freaking out due to COVID and no social distancing from him not a good experienceOttmar H.
Truck was dirty inside and all of the glass was dirty inside and out especially the windshield. Also one of the wipers didn't clean effectively and there was no washer fluid either.REYNALDO T.

I used the truck for one 8mi trip. I swept the truck out and returned it early only for them to take $20 for a cleaning fee when we cleaned it and barely used it in the first place. When calling they were very unhelpful and insisted the truck was dirty. I feel very scammed and would not recommend anyone utilize this dealer. Go to a real uhaul.CRISTINA P.

Was not happy that I had to drive 30 minutes to pick up vehicle when my location is only 10 minutes away. Wasted a lot of time on a tight schedule.Mary L.
when I arrived the front door to the building was locked. I had to knock several times, a young kid answered the door and he had not the slightest clue of what he was doing. After about ten minutes he called his sister. He would ask me a question in English and then carry out his conversation on the phone in Spanish. While I listened to him speak Spanish for about 20 minutes . I laid my license and credit card on the table for him. After he read my info to the girl on the phone in â€œSpanishâ€ again he gave it back to Me and had me write down a references name and phone number. After I hooked up the trailer I went back in and asked specifically if we were â€œ all goodâ€ because I knew he was oblivious to anything but his cell phone and Facebook. He said â€œ oh yea we are gonna send you an emailâ€. So I left. About 30 minutes later My â€œreferenceâ€ is blowing up my phone saying â€œ someone keeps calling me from an unknown number asking for your credit card number for the rental. So I leave work to go back to the rental location where the door is again locked and you can't see anyone anywhere through the glass. When he finally came to the door he didn't know anything about why anyone was calling. He got back on the phone with his sister and began speaking Spanish again right in front of me as if he wanted to make me Feel like an outcast during the conversation. He then stuck his phone straight out towards my face and asked me to talk on his personal cell phone like he hasn't been spreading his germs all over it all day. I set the phone down and put it on speaker. The lady began immediately speaking in English now. She said â€œ there was a mistake and I'm on the way I will be there in 20 minutes, OR you can give me the card number over the phone and I can run it right now.â€ Mind you this was her personal phone. I then heard dogs barking and a tv playing in the back round. Not sure if she drives around when she's â€œon the wayâ€ somewhere with her dogs and tv in the back of her car or not, but it sure sounded like it. After some debate I agreed to give her the card number. When I returned the next day she did apologize but it was a very unprofessional apology and they never checked any equipment or looked at anything. I'm pretty sure there's gotta be some kind of standard procedure in place to inspect the rented items. I will say that was the very worst experience I have very encountered renting anything and to go beyond that it was the most unprofessional way to conduct themselves While representing the company. Very unprofessional, inconsiderate, rude, and disrespectful this place was. If it were anyone with any less patience then me they would have lost it on them guaranteed. Don't go to 975 wise rd for anything at all. Especially to fix your car. That place was rediculously unprofessional. Will never go there again or recommend anyone to that place , in fact I will be sure to tell everyone I know in person and on social media how horrible my experience was atgil I.
My experience with this U-Haul location was wonderful! The manager, Jeffery, was so kind and helpful along with the rest of the staff who assisted me. Highly recommend using their service! The truck and equipment were in great shape and the renting process as a whole was very simple and convenient.Kristina T.
