I did not see in the email confirmation that the pickup time was limited and must be completed through the app only, not an in person office. We arrived at 11:45 for our 11:00 pickup and had to call to reset the pickup time. On that call, the rep did not mention that the app was down/slow so we might have trouble finishing the pickup process on the app. I had to call AGAIN minutes later to find out why I wasn't able to submit pictures to complete the check-in process. That rep said they were having trouble with the app running slow so if we had the keys already, we were good to go. Overall, it was NOT a smooth process, the expectations were not clearly spelled out in the confirmation email, and we left frustrated.
Heidi MBob from Uptown Hauling is great to work with. We need reliable options when working with our senior citizen clients/families helping them move into assisted living. The trucks are ready with the proper equipment -pads/dollies. We look forward to working together with future Rosie's House moves. Thanks, Bob!
ALVIN CNo personnel encountered at drop off site as it was closed at the time. The link I received from U-Haul to self return truck was not active, so I had to call the 800 number. Staff both times I called were very helpful and patient. Well done, U-Haul!
