The app didn’t work (didn’t upload the pictures of my driver’s license, the codes sent to my phone took up to 15 minutes to arrive, contacting customer service took more than an hour for them to call me back.) I made the reservation already a while back without a problem. Luckily, after almost an hour of trying with the app, there was a person at the location who was still working there who was very helpful and helped me get the key to the van. I am very grateful to the person who helped. I wish U Haul would send my gratitude to the person who helped and would try to make it up to me for the stress I unnecessarily endured-they had software problems, according to the people who called me after more than one hour.

Jessica DTaking the verification photos was a disaster as the app would not accept the pics. We wasted 20 minutes of our time trying to get the various pics of the rental van. We called customer service and tried the live chat, but not much help. We were sent a text with a different link and then we could finally get the pics to upload to the app, but it was still cumbersome.

Kiran KI reserved a 15' van and returning the van close to home. I ended up with a 10' van that the AC didn't work on a 100 degree weekend and had to take to downtown to drop off a hour one way.
robert lThe app wasn't working when I tried returning the vehicle, if theres another way to send pictures other than having to take it in real time it would be easier (i returned the key before it showed me prompts). The car was slightly dirty but it was as expected for a moving vehicle which was perfectly fine

AMY PThe business owner of Valley Mail Express went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed. He called me the day before to verify how I planned to check-in. I opted for the self-service version, but when he saw me out there he immediately came out cold and offered a bottle of water, stating “it was going to be a long day in the heat.” He answered any questions I had, and offered assistance with the self-service check in. Technically his business did not open till 9, and I was picking up at 8, and he could have left them in a drop box, but he showed up to personally hand them to me. He didn’t have the exact equipment I needed, but that is not his fault. Was super sympathetic when we brought the van back early because we got heavily rained out. Not only would I use this location again, but I believe Valley Mail will also receive my business for all my shipping needs.
