Months before I needed the trailer I made my original reservation at the Green Bay - Bellevue location 2201 Main St. This is a larger location with presumably plenty of staff. I was not happy when, two days before my pickup date, I received a call that I would have to pick up the trailer at the Luxembourg location. This is terrible customer service. I live 40 minutes from the Main St. location and had planned my day around that reservation that included several stops I needed to make in preparation for this trip. I then had to restructure my day to accommodate this change. There is NO acceptable reason that someone from the Main St. location couldn’t have grabbed a company pickup and driven out to Luxemburg and bring the trailer to Main St. for my reservation. And that person could or should have been someone in a leadership role. Not only that but the only compensation offered was to provide an extra free day. They would not discount my rate. I didn’t need an extra day with the trailer. I should have been compensated for the extra time and miles needed for me to go to a different location than where I had made the reservation. This is no knock on the poor guy who had to call me to inform me of the change or the guy that helped in Luxemburg. They were great. But there is definitely a lack of quality leadership among U-Haul’s policy makers who clearly aren’t interested in treating their customers right.

I had originally requested the U-Haul for one location and was unable to get the U-Haul at the location. I requested the closest one was over three hours away from where I originally wanted it from when I picked up the U-Haul it only had 3/4 of a tank and I had to return the U-Haul full tank.
