NO ONE TOLD US WE WOULD OWE OVER $130 in gas!!!! I assumed it would be included in the over $600 rental!!! Then they charge another $12 in another rental fee? Might as well have just hired a moving company for that price!!! NEVER using UHaul again. EVER.William H.

The guys who work this location were super nice. My issue is more the condition of the vehicle and the discrepancy on the gas reading. When I picked it up I was told it had no AC. A bit rough on an 80 degree day, but I figured I could roll down the windows. What they meant was the truck had no air at all. The knob to turn it on and off was missing, so I couldn't even turn on the blower. I was also told it had a full tank and to bring it back with a full tank. Three miles down the road I realized it had 7/8ths of a tank instead of being full. I took a picture to document it the tank reading at that time. Wanting to avoid the $16/gallon fee since the contract said full tank, I put over 8 gallons of fuel (nearly $37!) into a truck I ended up driving just 16 miles. There were also dirty fuzzy flip flops left under the passenger seat. I threw those away. I appreciated the $0.10/gallon discount I got because of the AC, but the inaccurate fuel reading and the truck having no air in the hot southern heat were not good experiences, despite the guys who work there being so nice.Michael V.

I was doing my online check-in and walking around the truck when I was approached by one of the workers and he seemed mad. He asked what I was doing and I can't just take a truck. So he escorted me inside and wasted about 20 min trying to rent me a truck which couldn't be completed because I had already rented it. After 25 minutes or so the other worker came up and looked and realized I had already rented it and checked in like I had said and went about my day. Could've saved some time if they had just listened when I told him what I was doing in the first place.Kevin L.

The salesman was accommodating but the website really should be up to date on equipment. I needed a dolly for heavy equipment nd none was available as said on website. You could greatly improve your trailer rental by providing some sort of tounge jack. I have rented trailers several times and one has to lift 4-500 lbs. from the ground to the ball. It's dangerous and awkward to perform this action.Eric A.

Owner was super friendly and helpful. Only complaint I have, is I didn't receive the utility dolly I rented and didn't realize it until I was 35 minutes down the road and it was too late to go back. I've reached out to Uhaul about this twice hoping to get a refund for what I paid for the dolly and nobody has contacted me.Stefanie Y.

The owner of the gas station went out of his way to fix a broken wire I had that did not allow trailer lights to work on my vehicle providing tools and great adheasive tape. Fixed my vehicle trailer wires and I was on my way. Excellent service and they had the exact trailer I needed. I would do business with him and his business again. Great customer service .Sean H.

Don't have customers on hold for 45 minutes when calling the main UHaul number. Require individuals who are responsible for locations that have no on-site staff to answer their phones. I had reserved a UHaul truck from Sheds 123 in Mebane, NC. I received a confirmation number but when I arrived the Uhaul mobile app did not give me a "pick up" link. I called the local number multiple times and then called the main UHaul number and held 45 minutes before finally hanging up. I finally clicked my shopping cart on my account and there was a message that due to demand my truck was not available. I never received a text or email or a call telling me the truck was not available AND there were at least three 15' trucks sitting there in the parking lot. I contacted Venus Mart and Deli directly, and 20 minutes later I'm in one of their trucks. I stage homes, moving vehicles are critical for my work and I was going to lose a job if I had not found a truck. I was very late, but thankful for Venus Mart & Deli for personally taking care of a very frustrated customer.GINGER A.
My original request was a 9' cargo van from Sheds123 in Mebane, NC. I arrived before closing and no one was available to provide me the keys for the van. The reservation was also made incorrectly as I requested the van for 24 hours, Friday 9Apr - Sat 10Apr but was apparently only scheduled until midnight Saturday morning. U-Haul found me another location that would remain open until I could get there (I had walked 2 miles to Sheds123 so that I wouldn't have to leave my car and now had to walk back to drive to a new location so it would not be a quick turnaround) but they did not have the equipment requested. Instead of a 9' cargo van I now had to drive a 10' truck. They also did not fix the reservation duration, only the origination time so I was now responsible for returning the truck at 3:30am. The folks at Venus Mart & Deli were helpful in getting me checked in and on my way, but I also notified them that my reservation duration was incorrect and it was not updated at that time either. I received an email at 3:30am indicating my rental had been updated, but by 7:30am when I called U-Haul again, the duration had not yet been fixed. The representative was able to extend the duration to the originally requested 24 hours and the truck was returned in good condition. I believe I was overcharged for the truck rental though I was told I would still be granted the price of the cargo van. I was also told that there would be a $50 credit toward the reservation given the difficulties in picking up a vehicle and I did not see that come through either. I would like my account reviewed to ensure that the $79 rental charge is accurate and provide the $50 discount committed to me at the time of rearranging my pick-up and drop off location.Amanda H.
