No one was there to give us the key. It was extremely very stressful. Drove over an hour away from home to pick up this huge truck and were in the middle of no where with no key to the truck. We were planning a cross country move and were on a time sensitive deadline, very stressful. It should have been a simple pickup but no one was there. Was on hold with customer service for almost an hour before we got a proper resolution. I would blame uhaul more than the vendor themselves because I understand they are new. Uhaul was extremely slow and did not seem to care about the situation we were in and underplayed what was happening. They were short with my fiancée on the phone. Overall that was terrible. For a huge company, they should do better. They also need to make sure that their vendors know what is going on and provide proper training.
