The inside driving compartment of the truck was filthy. There was something all over the inside of the windshield, the steering wheel was sticky and we couldn't find a seat belt latch for the middle seat. The guy at the rental place was very nice and everything there was great.William S.

The representative Rachel I spoke to on the phone to switch my drop off point was amazing. After being on hold with Uhaul and being transferred and having the call dropped and bounced around for almost an hour she took care of the issue immediately after getting on the phone. Excellent customer service. Only negative was the location was quite a distance from what we originally booked. UHaul switched from our original pick-up location 2 times. 45 min drive to reach the pick-up location and 45 min drive back (1.5 hour total) as opposed to a 5 minute drive each way for what I originally booked. Seemed unreasonable distance. The truck should have been moved closer to us.Julie S.

Village Motors was very helpful as my drop off was later than planned. They answered my questions the next day by phone and reassured me that everything was in order & checked back in so I didn't get extra fees. I WILL be doing business with them in future. Only Suggestion is to make LIGHT THE UHAUL sign brighter. Very difficult to see it as it was a very windy night and the only Uhaul sign that I could see from street was swinging horitzontal. Also, without GPS (phone battery died after a long day), it is hard to see the numbers on building. Ridge Road is dark right there. EXTRA LIGHTING would advertise to all passers by. THERE weren't any uhaul trucks parked. Just a suggestion. Everything was great.donna W.

Tried to use your app to drop off the truck early. It would not find my location so that I could proceed. (Yes my phone was set up for it.) Had to leave the truck and return the next day for a formal drop off as not to incur the $20 "convenience" charge. The truck had a minor leak over Granny's Attic which resulted in some minor dampness to my cargo. No major damage however. I reported it to the gentlemen I dropped the truck off to who was very pleasant. Overall I was happy with the truck I rented. It ran well and was very comfortable to drive. Not so happy with the fact that I had to lift a refrigerator by hand when I've had two back surgeries.Dave G.

I rented the same exact truck 1 month ago and it leaked inside and ruined a lot of stuff and it was reported. Now the same truck is still leaking and my stuff got wet again. I called in and was told that I could hold on to it and turn it in late at no charge and when I returned it the next day got charged for the extra day.Mark D.

Got there to drop of truck 2 guys at counter when i walked in, no sooner did I say good morning did one of them say just you are checked in just leave the key on counter. I asked them if they wanted to do a walk around was told they would do it later and i would get an email if there was a problem. so it they say something is wrong it my word against there's . Awful experience. Sent to the wrong location first. Rented for NOON and UHaul changed the pick up time to 3:30pm. If I had wanted it at 3:30 I would have requested that when I made the reservation. The van was not available when we went to pick it up at 3:30. The owner had to call the previous renter twice. He finally arrived at 4:40pm. What a waste of our day. Never again.Karen S.

This was not the original location to which I had been assigned. Thankfully, I stopped at the Greece location to which Haul had assigned me the day before I needed the trailer. They did not have one. We received 2 different locations for pick-up. That was confusing and the proper location was many miles farther. This caused us to be 5 miles over our original estimate which your company charged us for. The vehicle itself did everything we needed and worked well.Richard G.
I am not going to recommend or not recommend this location. It was difficult to find a 6' x 12' trailer in the first place, and impossible to find the next size down, a 5' x 10' trailer. If you advertise such trailers, you should supply them. Not everyone needs or wants the ubiquitous 5' x 8' trailers. I do not know how much responsibility for my unhappy experience belongs to this location and how much belongs to U Haul. The trailer that I rented had faulty light plugs. This resulted in me having intermittent trailer lights for the entire day and dark night when I drove it home. At home, I had assistance from an experienced mechanic who discovered that the small, flat plug had a bad ground wire in it, and the large adaptor plug was also faulty. By using my own adaptor plug, and by applying occasional, judicious applications of a pair of needle nose pliers, I managed to have lights for most of the return trip to this location. Also, how on earth do you expect people to handle your trailers when they do not have a jack on the trailer tongue? This makes it impossible for small-statured people to move them around, and to hook and unhook them temporarily when they have any sort of load in them, especially when they have been loaded according to your instructions, with the weight forward. The service at this location was provided by a friendly, personable man. The equipment was clean. The equipment was not well maintained. The clerk on duty did not seem knowledgeable or confident .in working with the trailers although he tried very hard.Lorna K.
