I reserved the truck for an 8:30am mobile pick up when I arrived they had changed it to 9am pick up and it was not a mobile pick up. I had to wait for the place to open before getting the truck. Customer service was not helpful in the least. I was on a very tight schedule and this certainly put me behind and could have been avoided. I will NEVER rent from UHaul again. Extremely dissatisfied. The least they could have done or offered was a discount for the inconvenience and I was offered nothing!

I was not explained in detail the charges when I needed to rent the vehicle for an extra day I ended up paying almost $200 for this rental, and I only put 30 miles on it. Not to mention, I made there was slightly more gas when I returned it. I was charged the final bill of $122 which I expected for a two day rental but I also paid $49 and 10.99 the day of. What gives with the three separate charges and why so much? it would’ve been nice. I had explained with the customer from U-Haul on the phone.. The original person I dealt with in Monroe was fine. I don’t have any complaints toward him or his company, but I’m not thrilled about the lack of information on the final charges. All I did was extend the vehicle another 24 hours.

Jeannie VFirst of all i rented from an independent dealer that was close by to me and then the following morning i received a message about a location change which i wasn't made aware of until 8 am ( my appointment was at 9:30) when i made it to said location i was informed that my reservation was cancelled due to me being 50 minutes late all because the new reservation was further from my home( even though i had the truck until the following day until 9:30 am! After expressing my frustration to the cashier she then set me up with another truck and this one was even further way! to make matters even worse i got to the location ( now 1 hour away from my home) and the place was CLOSED! i then decided to try again and place a reservation in Monroe GA for noon and when i made it there 9 minutes late and they too were closed until 1! i found something to do and then when i returned at 1 promptly the office reeked of weed smoke! to say i had a horrible experience would be a major understatement !!!!!

ANDREW EThe cell device is terrible at this location, so it would be helpful if there was an available WiFi that could be used for the check-in/check-out process. It says you have to have a mobile device but you can barely get any service to use it.

The inside of the truck where you haul things had not been swept, and there was an appliance hand truck, we did not rent. The return location was way out in the country, we passed a closer one on the way. We have rented UHaul for over 50 years. Worse experience ever!!

AMBROSIA MWe were frustrated with our U-Haul experience for this rental and I don't think it's fair to say it was an issue with this U-Haul location. We were attempting to rent a U-Haul vehicle in the Greensboro area and when we booked initially we were set up to pick-up the truck in Buckhead. Prior to pickup we were moved to the Monroe location which is almost 30 miles further away. That doesn't seem right when we are being charged for mileage! Also, on the initial inspection through the website there were warnings about being charged for cleaning. Our standard of "clean" is different that what you are looking for. We thought the interior cab of the vehicle was disgusting. Obviously it wasn't for your inspections (otherwise the vehicle would have been cleaned better).

Phillip EI want my trip refunded. I was charged $1097 for a two day rental at 142 miles!! The woman at the facility, Alita, was extremely rude and unhelpful. The entire experience was unacceptable. I told her and another associate the odometer was wrong. They said it wouldn’t be a problem then they proceed to charge more than $1000 to my bank. I want that money refunded by end of day Tuesday, 3/9. And I want my entire trip refunded. I do not expect to pay a cent for being charged this erroneously.

Also, the last time we rented from this location we were told we could return it after hours and it would be no problem. This time we returned it after hours and we were billed double the rental charge and insurance.

SECONDLY, I only had the truck an hour...returned it right back, the lady came out with her clipboard..like she was going to inspect the truck at point of return...instead she went back inside...never checked the truck out...i got the truck at 10:30 am...returned at 11:40 am...on a full tank, as I received it...they didn't send me a receipt of checkout until Monday morning...when the truck was returned...during open hours Saturday morning...I kept trying to call the number after I returned the truck, to see what was taking her so long to check me out...seems like she took the phone off the hook, bc I kept getting a busy signal...then receive a bill back Monday morning...with a gas charge of $7.00...when I took a picture of the gas showing full and odometer reading upon return...will never get a uhaul from these people again...called the 1800 uhaul number...several times Saturday morning in regards to her not checking the vehicle back in...and they didn't understand why, she hadn't checked the vehicle in upon arrival as well....

Evette MThe van we were given had an idling problem. I put it in park, but left it running so I could get out to open a gate. Before I could pull through, the van died. Then after pulling in, doing the same thing so I could close the gate behind me, it died again. Driving down the road if you take your foot off the accelerator, it idles down like you're braking, but you're not. Just wanted to let someone know.

As an owner of an insurance agency, I was shocked to hear their answer. ALSO: The truck didn't have one drop of oil in it.
