I was told I could drop this uhaul off at any uhaul location and I did and I was charged an astronomical fee and my invoice says drop off at wrong location

Chauncey MThe only issue I had was that I wasted an hour of my rental time trying to figure out which truck I was to use. Thankfully another person that was doing a rental showed up and was able to show me. So really I only was able to use my rental one our less than I was supposed to be able to.

MRK BThe only real criticism in my experience would be using the U-Haul app which required several pieces of information before having access to the lock password to access the truck. The receipt instructions were not clear when I reserved the truck that I would need to provide additional information before accessing the vehicle. We had limited time to move my son into his new housing and it was a bit cumbersome. I think if the receipt instructions were clear, it might save future clients a lot of time.

David BYour return map and location information provided at pick up is very bad. It listed a possible return location for Walhalla, SC, however, direction and address were for a location in Pendleton SC - 30 miles away.

EDWIN MIt was confusing b/c uhaul told me that location wouldn't be open or bc of holiday wked but location guys called me saturday informed me of my turn time and someone needed that truck I had but feel that wasn't the case!
Chris HThe places themselves were fine. This issue I have is that we had to drive and hour both ways just to pick the trailer up when I was requesting Dade City or Zephyrhills. Then I had to call the main office to be there drop off location changed to more local. They wanted to send me 40-50 miles to drop off. That is rediculous given the current gas prices. Thank goodness for the ladies in the main office

Michael NI considered purchasing a trailer for diy projects. But I have rented a U-Haul trailer the last three times I’ve had a project. Less than $15 per rental. I’d have to need a trailer a lot of times for it to make sense versus renting. Yes, it probably takes a total of an additional hour to rent versus if I had one, but I don’t have to worry about storing the trailer and the U-Haul app really streamlines the rental process. When I was younger, the rental process was very time consuming, and the process made it seem as though the local shop was inconvenienced to rent you a trailer. No longer- it’s really easy and quick now.
Alan WGetting reservation on line did not work - application did not allow selection of any trailer - had to call and secure reservation with agent. Process otherwise was OK.

Melissa PThis was not my initial drop off location, only after trying Westminster (absolutely don't go there), I wanted something closer, so I called U-Haul to change. They told me the location was not excepting trucks as they were full, but I could drop off the trailer. Office manager was not helpful whatsoever unloading my wife's car from the transport, had to entirely on my own. Then I get a call the day of my return asking where the truck was, at which point I explained to the office manager I had to extend a couple days to which he hung up on me. When I did return the truck a couple days later the rude environment continued. Look elsewhere if possible...
Don MGood experience. Friendly, helpful. Just wish this location, or another location near me, had more 5X9 drop gate trailers. They are hard to find. You have to wait until one shows up and there is no predictability when that will be which is inconvenient.

Ray ORenting a U-Haul trailer at Warthers was easy, staff was pleasant.
Carol EFirst of all, I was sent to a location that did not have the trailer I had leased. I had to drive 9 miles to a location that I had used previously. Then had to call U Haul rep and have the reservation moved. After that I was intimidated into adding insurance by the rep there by telling me if I had an accident, that I would be solely responsible for all damages or the entire cost of the trailer immediately, no matter who's fault it was. This could run up to 6000.00 for replacement. When I had finished using this, I attempted to check it back in but no one was there so I tried to call when I got back home..Still no one there. Called U Haul rep to tell them...........still not sure she understood. One of the worst experiences I have ever had with U Haul and I doubt I will ever do this again. Absolutely no need for any of this !!!
