Janis AndersonsMy initial reservation was a 24/7 pickup, and when I went to check in online at the location I received an error message saying there was no equipment assigned to the reservation. When I called the customer service line they said the location hadn’t left the key in the lock box so I was unable to complete my pickup and the mover that had traveled to come help me had to be rescheduled. The location called me the next morning asking if I wanted to cancel my reservation, seemingly unaware that I wasn’t able to complete it. They were very unapologetic when I explained and when I prompted about the $50 reservation guarantee they said they would process it, which I was thankful for but unfortunately have yet to receive anything. When I went the next morning for the second reservation I created, the vehicle was parked several blocks away but I was asked to sign off on the gas amount as a quarter tank without seeing it. When I got in the truck the tank was on E so I had to route immediately to a gas station a mile out of my way and was also late to my pickup time again. The employee was kind to me but I was frustrated by the state of the equipment and the lack of organization with both my pickups. And also that no efforts were made to apologize or recompensate after having missed my pickup and wasted my time and my mover’s out in the cold almost jeopardizing me getting the item I was picking up with the UHaul rental. I would not recommend this location unfortunately.

Wendy KrabbeThis was by far the worst Uhaul experience I have ever had. This location should be shut down. My first van was barely running and had multiple damages. Second Van was missing the passenger quarter panel. I returned on time with fuel and was charged late fees and additional fuel charge. I am never using Uhal again.

Elana KirschMy only gripe is getting billed for mileage when I’ve arrived at the location on time for drop off but can’t find parking. Since my rental was scheduled to be dropped off when the location was closed, I had to use truck share and find street parking. It was a Saturday night in a busy area though and I drove around for 45 minutes looking for parking. Then any mileage accumulated while driving around looking for a spot to leave the vehicle was included in the mileage portion of my bill, even though I was done with the rental and in the area by the drop off time. There should be an option on the app where you can select that you’re in the area looking for parking. Maybe the app tracks your location to confirm that you’re in the radius of the building. At minimum there should be a solution for this because I shouldn’t have to pay more simply because I can’t find parking when I’m in the area.

CB BucknorI would like to provide feedback on your website. app and digital experience. IT IS AWFUL. I will never rent from you again. The ONLY decent thing about the Haul experience was the gentleman at the Pick-up location, whom without his assistance (and him happening to be on site 3 hours early on a weekend) I never would have been able to access the vehicle. You really need to reevaluate the way you do the "share" digital rental. It is totally non-functional.

victoria pita-romeroGreat physical location - in the middle of everything, easily accessible. I've used this location a handful of times and usually had no big issues. The mobile check in process is never as simple as stated. The app AND the website do not work well with my phone (unsure if this is an Android or smartphone-wide issue). Location services are always turned on, and yet it cannot pick up where I am via the website browser OR app. Finding street parking is always an issue. I never find it right in front of the location, which is fine, but doesn't seem fine in the way the return instructions are written. I do not believe the equipment is cleaned between uses. It doesn't bother me because I expect it, but I feel like you are "sold" when signing up to expect otherwise. Booking has always been easy online or the app - last minute or ahead of time. The price is straightforward. I have been happy to never have unexpected or untrue fees added to my total cost, which I appreciate and can't say the same for competitors. I have been happy with customer service via email or phone call. I appreciated the rear back up camera in the most recent van I rented; unexpected and helpful! I will continue to use this location.

Taurean HaynesMy reservation was switched to a different location the night before. I arrived and clicked the link for mobile check in and it stated there wasn’t a vehicle assigned to my reservation. We were given a U-Haul but it took a long time and we realized when we were partly through our trip (within a short distance) that the gas tank was empty. Then we returned the truck that night to the same location as we were repeatedly told by this location. I received two phone calls from the other location looking for the truck. I had to call to confirm with this location that they would let the other location know where the vehicle was. I got a receipt and we ended up charged over $100 more than was quoted.

Jowanza MaloneyThe process that you go through to get the vehicle is tedious. The verification process should happen at the time of booking rather than when you checking in to unlock the vehicle. The app is slowwww. I have never seen an app love that slow. Other than that I love the app usage to pick up and drop off but some steps should be revised.

Uploading tons of photos took forever and your software couldn’t read the back of my drivers license which required several attempts in different lighting (apparently the front side was fine). Same thing w returning. App/uploading is way too slow. Also, asking for passport/lease when I’m at the rental location—WTF???
Eric CorrielThere was no issue with the location, besides that i was not able to pick up keys until 1 hour after my scheduled pick up time. I was told that they normally get information from unhaul the night before but that they didn’t know about my pick up until that morning/ I paid for help by the hour and had to schedule time to use the freight elevator, so this not only pushed me back but it also cost me at least $100 dollars

David ParkerEmployees were rude and the location wasn't equipped or prepared to do off-hours pickup, so me and another two groups waited for an hour before the location opened and they told me I was late and couldn't read. The man getting the trucks ready also told me he would charge me if the blankets weren't folded, which I can't imagine is Uhaul policy. The off hours return is also difficult because of the requirement of legal Street parking within 3 blocks of a very crowded neighborhood.

Upon return, vendor told me to “get out” when identifying vehicle metrics and gaps (gas tank gauge, tire pressure indicator, hazard lights) to prevent surcharges
