There was only one employee, who appeared to be overwhelmed with all 5 of the customers waiting on him. I purchased my uhaul online- so I could avoid waiting because I was in a rush. Unfortunately, I still had to WAIT 1hr:45min while two other people obtained their reservations, before I could show him that my reservation was complete & I just needed a key. I then had to make an entirely NEW reservation because he could not access the reservation I made online. I was INCREDIBLY LATE to my event. When I went to return the Uhaul then next day. He simply took my key and told me to leave. Being that this is my first uhaul purchase, I wasn’t sure of the concluding procedures. But I DID want an estimate & printout of my final bill. The man took the uhaul to park and never returned. Eventually I left, but now I have no idea how much my ride was. I did not appreciate the lack of information, lack of attention as a customer, and the lack of preparation. This man either needs training to handle a plethora of customers, or he needs a second employee to help him.

Service here was terrible. Took a very long time to do simple things, they even couldn't find my reservation for a while. I also was not able to use the 24/7 share option with this location. Uhaul let me make the reservation after hours, for 6:30pm. But, when i got there, the website told me this location wasn't complying with that and to come back at 9am the next morning. Luckily the staff was still sitting in the office...but if i rented this vehicle under the assumption that I would be able to get it using the 24/7 rental option, then it's unacceptable that i would show up to the location and be asked to come back the next day. This location has a 1-star rating average on Yelp. It's easy to see why.

They ended up not having the truck that I booked, so I had to book a smaller truck than I could use - and an additional van. So I had to pay for two entire rentals. As well, the parking at this place is non-existent. I had to park more or less on top of a fire hydrant. If you're going to open a U-Haul, have enough parking for the giant trucks you rent. I'd love a refund on at least the van. I'll pay for the truck gladly, but refund me for the van. Moving is expensive and that wasn't great.

The process for checking out the U-Haul was very complicated. On top of this when I spoke with your customer support and asked them if we could speed things up they replied with “it would go faster if you provided us with a alternate number of someone that’d actually pick up”. What kind of attitude is this to your customer??? Poor service.

Warn customers to complete the validation process ahead of time and improve validation methods. The process should not require an alternate contact, this is an extremely flawed way to validate. The app is also super buggy for validation so related delays are almost guaranteed. I was outside in the freezing cold for an hour and a half on the phone and live chatting with customer service while trying to validate.
