Dear U-Haul Team, I’m writing to share feedback from my recent rental experience. While the check-in and return process were smooth, and the attendant who assisted me was excellent, there were significant maintenance issues with the vehicle that impacted safety and overall experience. Specifically, the left turn signal was not functioning, and the electrical outlet on the dashboard was also inoperable. These are critical features, and their failure created a stressful and unsafe driving situation. Without a working turn signal, I was honked at and yelled at by other drivers, and I felt genuinely uneasy throughout the trip. The truck itself was clean and otherwise in good condition, but these repair issues are fundamental and should have been addressed prior to rental. Unfortunately, they significantly downgraded what would have otherwise been a positive experience. I wanted to bring this to your attention so it can be addressed for future customers. I would also appreciate any follow-up regarding this matter.
