JOE SWhen a customer requests a bigger vehicle and is willing to pay the by all means you should accommodate them. I was very clear on not wanting a 10” truck since I was moving from a 3 bedroom home. But I was given one anyway. When I asked to pay for a bigger truck, I was told that they’re only offered to drive locally. I was stuck with a very small truck that he told me could fit a condo inside and that was a lie. This caused me to have to make 3 trips from Pickens County to Tuscaloosa and it was super stressful for me, being that I am pregnant as well. I struggled very badly with that little truck but there was no other way to get help or anything that he was willing to do to help my process be better. And on top of that, I was charged a tag / license fee since it was the state of Mississippi. It just wasn’t fair at all to me.

Melinda HWas quoted for $91 and some change for a two day rental and I turned in the rental after one day and was charged over $137 and they told me I drove 98 miles in one day but I only made 2-3 trips of 17 miles and that totals out to be 51 miles if I had made 3 trips so I don’t understand where they’re getting 98 miles from. Also the truck was disgusting with tobacco left in the cupholders, and garbage left underneath the drivers seat and was given to me with less than 1/4 tank of gas and this location is a gas station as well. Utterly disappointed with my experience and I will never be renting another truck from U-Haul ever again in my lifetime.
