The u-haul computer program was not functioning at the location, it was very frustrating and I had an extremely long wait time. If there was any other rental places close I would have left, but I could not. The uHaul representative was pretty much useless.

This pick up location. The guy I ordered the trailer from was rude and I side the building smells horrible. He did not give us our full contract so when we return to Appleton we had no idea where to drop off the trailer. I called the Waupaca pick up location and he just swore up and down he gave me the entire contract when he didn't and he said he had no idea where I'm supposed to drop it off. I ended up bringing it to M and G as I've dropped off trailers with them before.

The problems I had with U Haul had nothing to do with the local people and everything to do with horrible customer service at the corporate level. Two rentals in four days, worst experiences ever. Unlikely to use U Haul again.

I requested New London, WI which has 3 locations within 2 miles of me. Uhaul changed it to Waupaca which is 20+ miles away. So I had to drive 1 hr round trip twice. On top of that I was charged that mileage which doubled my bill. Wasted 2 hours of my time, gas money, and money to pay you to get the truck to the correct location.

The trailer I rented was too small and when u brought it back ( I live an hour away) to get a larger one they wouldn't refund Me. Had to pay twice. I will never use uhaul again.

THE TRANSFER OF THE VEHICLE WAS MUCH EASIER ON MY TOW VEHICLE THAN I THOUGHT THAT IT WOULD BE. IT HANDLED VERY WELL.

The Waupaca location and Steve went above and beyond to assure the trailer was available for pickup. I had received a call from Milwaukee telling me the trailer would be in Appleton, wi and i also received a call from Rick at Daves Certified Serivce. I went there to get the trailer and he decided to stay home that day since no trailer was sent by uhaul. There were 3 different parties there to pick up a trailer, pickup truck or larger truck to rent and he was a no show. I would highly recommend that he not be a uhaul dealer with service like that. Thank you to Waupaca Mobil for assisting me and making the experience better. As for Daves Certified Service, I would never go there again.

I reserved a cargo trailer the day before but the computer system did not work to find my reservation at pickup. Also, I rent from uhaul quite often and the computer saves my gmc truck about 5 times in the list of tow vehicles when I have only 2 vehicles a Pontiac Vibe and a GMC truck. I wish the computer system could list all the available cargo trailers at uhauls in my vicinity. I did the live chat and the rep helped me find a trailer.

I did everything I could to expedite the process and when I arrived, I waited for 30 minutes to get the truck. It had to be checked in before I could take it. The young man was nice but the process was disappointing.

Terrible phone service, ie the men in the office are 1) impolite (literally: "whadya want?"). 2) I was quoted a price of .69cents per mile, and on the bill I was charged .79cents per mile. The office manager could care less if he gives good service.

I contacted them about the 10 doz pads a week before and also a day before pick up and they said everything was fine. Upon pick up they only had 3 doz, waited 3 1/2 hours for delivered pads. Trailer came off within 1/2 mile of store. After packing truck I didn't need trailer so returned the next day, no recognition from Steve for trailer or pads. They couldn't give me any paperwork on the returned trailer said I needed to work it out with UHaul.

Make sure your locations have proper training on how to explain charges and discrepancies. Uhaul website is horrible. Tried to return my rental online last night and it would not work. Had to go inside to the convenience store to return keys. No after hours drop box available

The rental and support experience with the reservation were well below my expectation. My rental was not ready to be picked up. The truck had un-requested furniture pads in it and the reserved dolly was not on location. The local associates told me to manage the issue on my own. After sitting on the phone for 20 minutes, I was told the rental guarantee did not apply in the situation and I would need to rent the dolly from another location. The associate also told me the dolly would be provided free of charge due to the error. After traveling out of my way to pick up the dolly, the new store would not honor the agreement, and I was charged a one-way rental in order to get the dolly. At this point I was charged both for a dolly I did not receive and a one-way rental on another. The phone support also told me I would need to work with the location to have the charge removed. On returning the vehicle, the App would not allow for an after hours return after another 20 minutes waiting on hold. I gave up and returned the truck in the morning. The individual Uhaul locations and phone support continually past blame at each other. Each time this happened it was my responsibility to communicate to the other channel. Uhaul representative should not leave it to the customer to manage where their employees/locations fail to provide for an order.

Even though they had 3 trucks that we requested, we were given a truck way bigger than we needed. They couldn't find the keys, had to them jump start it, and the door didn't shut completely. They also didn't have the moving materials we requested. I will never use uhaul again. There are other places that rent well maintained vehicles for the same price.
