I contacted them about the 10 doz pads a week before and also a day before pick up and they said everything was fine. Upon pick up they only had 3 doz, waited 3 1/2 hours for delivered pads. Trailer came off within 1/2 mile of store. After packing truck I didn't need trailer so returned the next day, no recognition from Steve for trailer or pads. They couldn't give me any paperwork on the returned trailer said I needed to work it out with UHaul.

Make sure your locations have proper training on how to explain charges and discrepancies. Uhaul website is horrible. Tried to return my rental online last night and it would not work. Had to go inside to the convenience store to return keys. No after hours drop box available

The rental and support experience with the reservation were well below my expectation. My rental was not ready to be picked up. The truck had un-requested furniture pads in it and the reserved dolly was not on location. The local associates told me to manage the issue on my own. After sitting on the phone for 20 minutes, I was told the rental guarantee did not apply in the situation and I would need to rent the dolly from another location. The associate also told me the dolly would be provided free of charge due to the error. After traveling out of my way to pick up the dolly, the new store would not honor the agreement, and I was charged a one-way rental in order to get the dolly. At this point I was charged both for a dolly I did not receive and a one-way rental on another. The phone support also told me I would need to work with the location to have the charge removed. On returning the vehicle, the App would not allow for an after hours return after another 20 minutes waiting on hold. I gave up and returned the truck in the morning. The individual Uhaul locations and phone support continually past blame at each other. Each time this happened it was my responsibility to communicate to the other channel. Uhaul representative should not leave it to the customer to manage where their employees/locations fail to provide for an order.

Even though they had 3 trucks that we requested, we were given a truck way bigger than we needed. They couldn’t find the keys, had to them jump start it, and the door didn’t shut completely. They also didn’t have the moving materials we requested. I will never use uhaul again. There are other places that rent well maintained vehicles for the same price.

Intake agent was very rude and not helpful, trailer was dirty and full of old leaves, furniture pads were covered with dried grass and weeds, my bumper was scratched when the trailer was hooked up. I drove off regardless as I didn't want to deal with the crabby agent.

Although I was happy with the local locations my overall experience with Uhaul was disappointing and frustrating. I thought it was ridiculous to have to drive more than an hour just to pick up a truck, especially since I was only informed of this 48 hours ahead of time. I also found the website to be practically non-usable. I was rarely able to accomplish anything on the website without an error occurring. Finally, when trying to reach Uhaul by phone, I had to wait for no less than 10 minutes before getting through to a representative. This is unacceptable for a customer-oriented company / service. I hope to not have to use Uhaul for my next move.

Auto transport too costly......was told $60.00 over the phone.....once it was on my truck and I was down the road.....I looked the paperwork over to find out I was charged $75.00. U-Haul has always been a great place to rent from.....but if i am going to be over charged for equipment years old.....I guess i will find another business.......my social security can no longer keep up with the high priced economy.

The interior of the truck was dirty and the windshield was not clean. That is something a U Haul service center should do at a minimum.
