I enjoy using the app on my phone, but when I was picking up the vehicle, the checkin part where you take photos of previous user’s damage is not intuitive. Do you hit “done” after every photo click?

Received the truck with an empty tank. I ordered a utility hand truck and six blankets. Neither were in the truck. I returned the truck with the same amount of gas (about 50 miles) and an empty cargo. I was then charged for missing equipment and not refilling the tank. They hit my card for over $200 in wrong fees.

The team at this location was so wonderful and accommodating! If anything I’d say the app needs to be clearer about pickup instructions, but that’s my only note and that’s more on U-Haul not the location.

Reserved the truck for 8:30am, location did not open until 9am and could not get access to the keys. Ridiculous.

The fabulous lady at check in who was recovering from being sick made the whole thing painless. She’s a rockstar and give her a raise!! She was covering a lot of ground being one person and made me feel welcome, appreciated and valued. That’s not an easy skill. The location is a bit tough to get into with the street construction but it was worth it. My move went well and the truck was exactly what I needed for an in town move.

I had a good experience. I rented for short period just to move stuff from one storage to another, but the only one thing that I could’ve need help with was the ramp the ramp was not completely fully out. so I could just roll my stuff into the back of the truck maybe next time I’ll get the full details on how it operates.

The woman running this place does an incredible job. She was on top of every rental and detail. She went above and beyond in her kindness and efficiency. This woman is a gem and will likely be hired away given her great interface with customers and professionalism. Highly recommend giving her a raise.

When I have been coming lately Jenelle has been very patient with me. I never left a review before but she has been such a nice person to me.

This was the first time for me using U. Haul and I called to ask a question. The employee said to me " Either you're lying to me, Or ...." I could not believe she said that. I immediately asked for her manager. Her manager clarified everything for me. I was asking a question to try to figure it out, and make sure I was not being charged for something other than what I had asked for. Never is acceptable for an employee to tell a customer that they are lying or to make any References or any type of implication using these words. I followed up with the manager the next day. Regarding this specifically. Employees need to understand that customer service is still Part of every single job regardless. I was also advised by my friends that the employee that helped me was supposed to walk me out to the vehicle & Walk around it with me and inspect it. She did none of these things. I had to Walk around the law and find the truck on my own and everything. There was no inspection, there was nothing. This was the same employee that indicated I was lying to her. I was told but it was this specific location to never return to and to go to a "legit location" next time.

Beyond atrocious. You won't let the user start the check in process until they are physically at the location. Nowhere do you mention that you may want to arrive early to complete the tedious and glitchy check-in process. Whoever built your app should be IMMEDIATELY fired. After multiple attempts I was able to submit the required documents for the check-in. Then I began the process of waiting for those documents to be approved. I called your 800 number and they told me they can't help me 🤣🤣🤣. They told me to use the chat inside the app which I had already tried and did not receive any response for some time. Typing in the chat interface is basically impossible because the keyboard pops up and covers the field where you are typing so you can't see anything. Then, after at least 40 minutes had been wasted, I finally got the check in completed. The instructions for getting the keys appeared in the app and then disappeared. When you go into the reservation inside the app there is no way to see the instructions for getting the keys 😂😂. I called your extremely unhelpful customer service again. Truly a laughable experience except for the fact that I was limited on time, you created tremendous unnecessary stress for me, and you refuse to take any responsibility for it whatsoever. Will gladly tell everyone I know to stay away from Uhaul at all costs. Impressively bad experience 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼

Uhaul didnt have my original reservation, I had to travel to 3 different locations in limited time to get a smaller truck. Which cost me 3-4 hours on moving day along with extra money to compensate movers.

There was significantly less gas in the van than the staff thought and also way more damage to the body than was noted. As long as you (the renter) are thorough with your pre-rental inspection to note the differences, than no problem. But this is not a can you can just “grab and go” without running a risk of being billed for some items that were no fault of yours.
