The only problem that I had was checking the Uhaul in. Had to do it online because it was after business hours. Being technically challenged, I had to leave, and bring my daughter back to help me, very inconvenient.BRENDA B.
No personnel were on site. I called the number and was told to drop the trailer anywhere near the other trailers. I returned the trailer early but then was notified that I had not returned the trailer letting me know they had checked that equipment in. I would change the signage on the door of building. I confirmed a time with them earlier in the day and when I arrived there the sign on the door said in big print CLOSED. If you read the details it said if you wanted to talk to anyone call XXX telephone number which ended up being a person inside the building. But you can imagine my initial reaction when I saw a closed sign and I needed to pick up a trailer. Second thing is really U haul corporate thing, the text that resulted in the take a picture of your divers license thing was slick (though unexpected and unannounced) , the next text about describing the condition of the trailer was also unexpected (no expectation set via email nor by the person providing me my copy of contract). So I didn't see the text initially and when I tried to go to the link it indicted it had expired. Someone or some piece of communication should have set my expectation about both the divers license and the describe the condition of the rental item texts.DAVID J.

I rented a 5x8 trailer from this location. No one helped connect the trailer to my vehicle and I discovered the trailer was not clean on the inside. The day after I picked it up I noticed the license had expired in May 2017. I returned this trailer for another one but should not have had to do this.STEVEN G.

Scheduled pickup for 8:30 online. Employee didn't arrive until 8:45 and didn't help me for another 5to 10 minutes. Then handed me paperwork and pointed to trailer. Order had me down for the wrong trailer and they didn't have what I wanted. Based on what I saw online I thought I had trailer for 48 hrs but contract showed 24 hours. If employee would have let me know when return was required I would have rearranged my schedule. After I asked for help hooking trailer up he did help do that.Steven S.

The trailer was very old and should be retired. The location was out of pads, not their fault however the app allowed me to order them and it was very difficult to remove them from the order. Last, this location kept their office locked due to COVID, which I understand however, it was very difficult for business transactions when other locations practice distancing but don't take it to that level.William H.

I did not request this business in the first place. I requested Village Hardware. The staff here was rude. The mileage on the contract didnt match the mileage on the truck. The truck itself drive terrible. It had a hard time going up any incline. Very unhappy that the location was changed without my prior approval.Tammy V.

Make your website a little more user friendly for checking in and put it on the web site that if you want to change drop off sites you have to call in or make it possible to change it on the web. Also why does it take a supervisor to change the drop off location when you call in. You already have people on hold 15 minutes then you put them back on hold to wait again for the supervisor.Sean F.

The office is being run by several teenagers. We rented a storage unit but wasn't told that we had to haul a 15 foot UHaul truckload of household items one piece or box at a time down a hallway 60 feet long to the storage unit. Me and my sister had to do this and we are seniors 60 years old. It took us hours to get our things into the storage unit. We were told there were no other units available although there were units with open doors on them that we could have backed our truck up to. It made the job almost impossible for us to do. About UHaul's System: #1 -My pick up location was changed to 15 miles away from my preferred choice, less than 24 hrs before my time to pick up. I couldn't get the equipment moved to where I wanted to pick up, thus I lost an hour of time before even getting to my moving location. #2 - The info on the web said the pick up location opened at 8:00. This was true for their storage rentals but not for the "Uhaul portion." Thus, another hour lost. About the pick up location: It should be closed. The young lady who was there was great, but she was working alone with multiple customers and the phone ringing. After a 30 minute wait as she took care of a previous irate customer, she did everything she could to take care of my order. Since she was by herself I had to go out and hook up a tow trailer to the Uhaul truck myself in order to get on my way. This, by the way, was a pre-paid reservation. Basically all this location did was process the paper work and then hand me the keys. Again, the young lady did a great job with what she could work with, but this was not right in so many ways, one of them being having the customer hook things up himself and whatever liability issues that could create for Uhaul. Also, the windshield was not at all clean. Didn't realize that until I was driving into the sun and it was difficult to see. Other than that, the truck performed well and once I actually got on the road the trip went as scheduled.David D.
