The truck had an involuntary acceleration problem and your company is using deceptive business practices. I was charged 2 times the rental rate and insurance for delivering the truck within the same day, but an hour and half later than expected. I was told if I said I was going to have the truck for a full 24 hour period, there would be no late charge under these circumstances. This is smoke and mirrors, and "gotcha" deceptive business terms and I am very upset about it. I will be filing a complaint with my Attorney General's office.Michael S.

The truck I rented needs to be taken off the fleet. It was very damaged and has a lot of problems with it from cutting off while driving, turn signals staying on, gears not shifting, to the smell.Susan S.

I booked a truck for 4 hours, needed to extend so I called to ask. Guy I spoke to said, yeah no problem. We'll extend til 7pm. When I returned it at 6pm I was told I was being charged a whole 2nd day. With no explanation except that I should have just rented it for the whole day. If he had told me I'd be charged for a 2nd day, I would have made so and returned the truck. So I expected to pay $30. Paid $62! So pissed. Never using uhaul again!Lynne B.

The people that work/run this location are extremely rude. We purposefully made a reservation for a rental at the 2115 West st location but they reserved with this location instead. Goes to show that the people in the call center are confused about which store they work in as well.EDWIN H.

UHaul overcharged me by $17 which limits the good things I have to say about where I picked up the truck and the workers, both of which were great. But UHaul charged me $7 for a utility dolly that I didn't receive or order and $10 extra for the truck. The Shell station was great to work with and the workers were great.David B.

I was told I could pick up the U Haul at 7am no one was there the gas station was closed waited 15 minutes then got a call they would be there in 30 minutes I had a time frame to move in to a apartment in Baltimore we missed over one hour being able to use the elevator and was not able to move all of our belongings in on Saturday. The Shell station would not even take anything off my bill. Very dissatisfied.jenifer W.

Had to drive 30mi away to pick up instead f 3mi requested. Understood availability is limited, I was fine with that especially they offered extra free 50milage free of charge, but when I returned, I found that they did not gave me 50 mi credit in their system! CS wait time to address this was longer than one hour to when returned at the gas station! Such a lie and such a terrible service. Will not rent from uhaul again!Ryan K.

The man at the pick up location was friendly but clearly overwhelmed by the amount of people he had to service at the time we dropped off the vehicle. The location was a shell gas station with no clear indication of where to take the vehicle for dropping off and there was absolutely NO place to park the vehicle while we ran inside to ask where to go. There was another vehicle being dropped off at the same time as well as people in line to pay for gas and buy cigarettes so the man who was working the register seemed frazzled and overwhelmed by everything he had to do. He asked me my name more than five times because he couldn't understand me or find my reservation. While it all got figured out in the end and he was very friendly and maintained a good attitude despite the stress level he was under - I would not want to use this location again to return a vehicleâ€¦.especially when there is a brand new location on West street in Annapolis, Maryland not more than a mile away from this one. For some reason, your online reservation system would not allow me to choose that new location on West street as a choice for dropping the vehicle on the return end. I was very frustrated when trying to choose that new location online knowing the other drop off location is less than ideal. But overall, we had a very good experience and were pleased with the truck as well as the pick up location in Springfield, Virginia.BRIAN J.

I had to have a tire replaced because I had a blowout. The mechanic said the tire edges were worn and all the tires needed to be replaced. The truck I was supposed to drive was hooked up to a trailer, so they gave me a different truck. That's good because it would have made me late for the movers. However, no one knew how to switch the truck in my account and it took a long time to return and pay for the truck because of this.emily C.

The truck was not clean inside, there was no trash other than a napkin in the floor and there was a lot of dirt in the driving wheel and the dashboard and floor. To the point where i felt uncomfortable touching the driving wheel or putting my purse on the floor.Adriana B.
All good - office staff was knowledgeable and friendly and made the pickup process easy. One note was gas was actually about 1/8 full which was not so great in that I had to fill it up with 15 minutes of use.ANDREW M.
Renting from a gas station or other 3rd party is in my opinion a mistake. Lots of disorganization and no focus on the UHhaul customer. I've rented several times from the local UHaul corporate store and the experience is much better. (The person who helped me at the gas station though was very nice and helpful). This was also the second time that I specifically declined their insurance coverage only to have it mysteriously appear on the final bill. All in all, I've had a much better experience renting trucks from Home Depot.LLOYD M.
