I was told verbally when i booked and again confirmed through an email my pick up time was 8:00am. I arrived at this Whitemud Mini Mart at 8:00am on Saturday 30th. THERE WAS NO ATTENDANT, NO ONE OPENED THE STORE UNTIL 8:20AM. He was late opening due to "driving from downtown takes some time". yes driving from anywhere takes some time. on a move date for myself coordinating numerous people and moving to another city. this set me back in total close to an hour and was a hugely disappointing. To make matters worst, the attendant had the loudest music blasting in the store so i had to yell to give my phone number, finally asked him to turn it down. so unprofessional. never again.

Location is inside a convenience store not very well maintained. Just ok, but below average of other U-Haul locations I had used. Vehicle had a warning to service tire monitoring system, but other than that was also ok.

Clerk was hard to hear as he wouldnt speak up and the music in store was too loud. I had also requested on location ID scanning and was forced to complete the ID scanning using data and my phone even though my phone camera is broken.

Vehicle dirty inside and out. Identifying number not on the bumper. Cruise on van did not work. Radio did not work. Power charger did not work. I have other complaints as to the other places I called. I called one place, expecting that the response “We have 9 vans.” Meant at the location I called. In fact it was rerouted to a different location. So I show up at the wrong location. The person we talked to was at another location. I was at the other location as it was just closing. We went to the place where our phone call we redirected but it was closed by this time. Tried to do the online booking, but it would not recognize our GPS location. Then we ended up finding the mini location... it was almost 2 hours later, with an infant. So yes UHAUL was a bad experience! So I'm not

There was only on person at the counter for regular and U-Haul customers - so there was kind of a long wait until I got my van. However, once being helped the paperwork was handled professionally, the car was very clean and the return was super easy (and quick). All in all the experience was not too bad.

The people running the location were not helpful and it created some strife in the rental process. I also think that if I fill out all the information online to set an appointment, then I shouldn't have to fill out all the same information when I get there, like which insurance policy I want. During the online portion, I was asked to give an emergency contact number (only a phone number), and did so, but when I got to the location I was told I would have to provide ID for the person I listed. Why not specify on the website that I would need to provide that? Why is that even necessary? If I had come by myself to pick up the UHaul after already making a reservation online, I wouldn't be allowed to get it and that's definitely something that should be mentioned on the website

I had to find this last minute booking because the first U-Haul booking on 7403- 17th Street in Edmonton took my online booking and when I called to ask for additional storage they told me the one I booked is damaged. That was on a Friday evening and left me scrambling. When I contacted Uhaul they told me these are individually rented and owned privately and they cannot help me. Nice.

Truck was dirty from inside. Coffee spilled in the cup holder. cup holder area was all sticky. I would like some money back for the truck rental for giving me dirty truck. I was forced to take that truck as others were unavailable.

THE AGENT AT THIS LOCATION WAS VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL - GOOD PERSONALITY. Would definitely use this location again if a UHaul is necessary.
