Make sure that reservations made 2 months in advance won't cause them to drive to three different locations to get the wrong sized truck. The agent at Davand Drive was great about helping to set things right but i was sent all over Mississauga and oakville to get a truck even though I booked online 2 months in advance

I rented a truck for 5:30. Arrived at 5:20. The lady who was doing the uhaul rentals left her friend in charge of the store who had no idea what to do. 2 other customers came in for a 5:30 rental. She didn’t arrive until 5:45. 15 minutes means a lot when it’s rush hour. Please have staff there when you have paying customers on a time limit.

We were charged twice. One on my booking and the other time with the driver. Called location for refund and was insulted, spoken to poorly by the owner Preet who after I had asked for her to listen to my concerns asked how much time did I need to explain an hour. Will be escaltaing this issue, and if not resolved will escalate further. I dont appreciate being charged twice and then distastefully spoken too with no sense of care or concern. I guess when your putting money n your pocket, it doesnt matter whos pocket you took it from. Worse experience ever. This lady will be reported to head office of U-Haul

After receiving an email confirming and guaranteeing we would have the rental from 10am-8pm, we received a phone call the evening before insisting that we have the truck back sooner (with no explanation as to why). The person was very pushy on the phone and customer service wasn't the greatest.

We made a reservation for a Cargo Van to be picked up with the self-pick up service at 6:30 am at a location in Etobicoke that was convenient to us on Saturday April 28th, 2018. The price quoted when we entered our mileage upon booking was $170 plus tax. My boyfriend spoke to a representative on the Friday evening at 4 pm to ensure he understood the self-pick instructions and to confirm the details. We were assured everything was accurate. I received a text message from U-Haul at 9 pm on the Friday night saying that the cargo van was not available and they changed the pick up location. I tried calling to enquire (as they invited me to do so in the text message) and waited for 40 minutes on the phone after which I hung up due to no answer. Someone texted me at midnight to see that they were "Preet from UHaul" and that the 15 foot truck would be ready at X location in Mississauga and the key is under the driver's seat. This location was extremely inconvenient for us, the gas costed double than it would have with the cargo van, the size of the truck could not fit in the moving location AND we were stuck in 2 hours of traffic just in Mississauga where we did not request to be. The collection of the vehicle was also very unsafe and I did not know if the person who texted me at midnight was even legitimate. What a poor UHaul experience. We will never be using Uhaul again and so will none of my many friends who had to assist on the day of the move, last minute, due to the distance of parking a 15 foot truck and the condo a lot longer than it would have been with a cargo van. We were utterly disappointed and paid $187 for our service. We deserve an even greater refund.

These questions leave out aspects of the rental experience that deserve evaluation. 1. I ordered a 20 foot truck 5-days before I needed it at your 1250 Queensway location. Late Friday afternoon (the day before I needed the truck) it was cancelled by you without explanation. NOT VERY GOOD. 2. I drove the truck for 78 miles or about 122KM. I was told to put gas in the truck to the 1/2-way needle. When I was finished driving, I put $25.00 worth of gas in the tank. The needle barely moved. I put another $25.00 worth of gas and the needle still did not reach the 1/2-way mark. HOW CAN A TRUCK THAT SMALL GIVE ME NO MORE THAN 3KM PER LITRE OF GASOLINE? I HOPE THAT NO EXTRA CHARGES WERE PUT ON MY CREDIT CARD. The lady at the Davand location served us fine. Gunther Wagner - 905-602-1997
