i DIDNT REALIZE THE TRUCK HAD A LEAK OVER THE BOX UNTIL I'D HAD IT SEVERAL DAYS. EVEN THOUGH IT WAS NOTED IN THE PAPERS, IT WASNT TOLD TO ME. HOWEVER IT DID HAVE TAPE OVER THE LEAK, SO IT WAS OK. THE DOOR HAD TROUBLE CLOSING SO WHEN IT RAINED, WATER GOT ON THE SEAT AND DOWN THE DOOR. I HAVE USED UHAUL FOR YEARS AND WILL CONTINUE TO DO SO BECAUSE I FEEL THESE WERE INSULATED INCIDENTS.

I had to drive an extra 27 miles because I had booked a truck that did not exist -- I truly thank the people at White's for being so accommodating.

When I made the reservation online, I declined the insurance. However, when I picked up the trailer, it had the insurance on it. The lady that I rented it from did not ask me about it until after she had run through the steps. She was not able to get it removed. She called her manager but he was also unable to get it removed. I was told I would receive a reimbursement for the insurance on my credit card. Has this happened? If not, what needs to be done? I was charged for something I did not request.

We reserved our trailer at the Ruston LA location but had to drive 25 minutes to another location for pick up. Rental should be at reserved location when rented months before needed. We also had major problems with a rental two weeks ago in Starkville MS. Both rentals were for the same trailer, same length of time and same distance but we were charged more for this rental. I certainly hope I never need another rental because I don't think I'll ever use UHaul again.

Ruston Auto Connection, a UHaul rental agency, cancelled my reservation five minutes before the agreed upon time. When I arrived at Ruston Auto Connection to pick up my truck, the business had closed for the day and nobody was there to rent the truck to me. Luckily, a Dubach, Louisiana location had a truck, but it was 12-miles away. UHaul offered me a $50 credit, but it was not reflected on the bill I received. UHaul sucks balls and I'll never ever do business with UHaul again.

I had to spend a lot of time on the phone obtaining a location and time to suit my needs. The initial location would not have had a trailer until 6 PM on the day I needed it - totally useless. I spent approximately 50 minutes on the phone with the scheduling center and the local customer care center obtaining a trailer available at 10 AM that day. I still had to travel 37 miles each way to obtain the trailer, when there were at least 5 U-haul locations within a 10 mile radius of my residence. All of these circumstances made my experience less than satisfactory.

Problems with the commuter system/internet connection delayed my move by at least an hour because of the length of time it took to process my order. The delay raised my total cost because the moving helpers had to wait for me to arrive with the truck.
