Clerk did not help at all. When I showed up for my res he asked last name and typed on the comp for a while. Then just said okay and pointed outside. I asked which trailer I should take (keep in mind, I got zero paperwork and was asked to sign nothing). He told me the trailer number, I went outside and hooked it up myself and drove off. When I went to open the back door of the trailer the door would not open. I drove back to the U-Haul rental and asked for help. He said he’s not allowed to help and said to call roadside assistance. He didn’t offer a phone number or anything. Btw, he was not behind the counter when I went back. He was sitting in his truck in front of the store. I called the U-Haul assistance number and was told I needed to drive an hour away to get help. I said I couldn’t bc I didn’t have that much time. Then, they texted me and said they will send someone tomorrow. Terrible service from beginning til end. On a side note, U-Haul might want to do some drug testing bc the clerk looked as high as a kite.

When we arrived at our scheduled time the truck wasn’t there. The person we spoke to said “well that’s why you should reserve a day ahead”. We came back an hour later to pick it up. Another employee spoke with us when we returned to pick it up and he was very polite. But there was no AC at the location and it felt like we were inconvenient somehow.
