The only issue I had was standing water on the shelf inside the truck and it got some of my boxes wet. Not a big deal and a great experience overall!

David K.The van condition was "acceptable", but when you ask if it was clean, my answer is "no" because it was muddy. The app allowed me to take pictures so I did not "feel" that would be held against me. Van is also dented in a couple of places. Again, taking pictures before driving off was helpful. However, one dent on the passenger side door made it difficult to open and shut that door properly and needed an extra effort. The guy managing the location was very nice and helpful, and clear in his communications.

The truck was clean but had maintenance issues that are beyond what this location is capable of doing. I drive commercial truck for a living and these trucks need to be better maintained.

Max C.The U-Haul clerk was asleep at the desk when I arrived, he never greeted me when he realized I was his customer. When I asked to see the truck to make sure it was to size I needed, he appeared irritated or annoyed then directed me to the lot without specifying where it was. I had to state the obvious and say I didn't know where it was. Even then he was not helpful. He said the lot was behind the QFC and didn't provide any information how to get there. He just seemed bothered by my presence or that he had to do his job while at work. He didn't possess a shred of customer service. He then told me, after I returned, that the truck I had been assigned only had 1/8th of gas. I was told I would be given a $25 discount if I returned it 1/4th full, but it cost me $38 just to drive it off the lot. Lastly, the engine light came on and stayed on later that day during my drive. I was on my way back to the U-Haul location and spend the entire time praying that this truck wasn't going to breakdown on me while on the freeway. I use U-Haul quite a bit and my experiences have always been professional and pleasant. This, however, was the absolute WORST experience I've ever had with a U-Haul retailer. This was my first time renting from this location and will definitely be my last.

So I basically got ripped off for gas as I returned it at what it said on the paper work which was wrong. The tire pressure was off the windshield cracked and I was charged an extra $100.00+ for milage. I drove from WA to Las Vegas on the safest route how could I be over mileage. I am going to file this with U-Haul corporate but thought I would take a minute to discuss it here.

I ordered a utility dolly and furniture dolly - they said they didn't have any furniture dollies when I got there, but I could drive 4 miles (2 out and 2 back) to get a dolly from a friend. When I used the texted link to pick up the truck, I was almost done and it said "session timed out" so I wasted time calling the 1-800 UHaul number to understand the next steps. Inside the truck were four bunched up furniture pads and two were wet (I didn't order then and I didn't use them), 1 utility dolly, which I didn't use, and one appliance dolly, which I didn't order nor use. I wasted valuable time dealing with things I shouldn't have had to deal with and I ended up getting charged for the furniture dolly and utility dolly - not appreciated.
Gregory K.To many discrepancies. The miles were off. The trucks were in a different location than the business. We took pictures of the dash before and after the pickup. We got the truck to the location and opened the back. There was a dolly hand truck on the ground with another regular hand truck strapped inside that you would pay for if seal was broken. The blanket bag was unsealed and blankets were laying in the truck bed. We used no blankets. My biggest concern was the return. The attendant told us we had to use he uhaul app to drop off the truck or we would be charge a fee if we didn't. The gate was paddle locked at 7 pm when we returned. We could not use the uhaul app because the location would not come up. We had to leave the truck outside the gate and drop off the key at a chevron station near by. We told the gas station attendant the story. She said the same owner owned both but she worked for the gas station and the uhaul was a different business. Anyway I didn't trust anything about this whole rental. I better not be charged for using the blankets or for not using the uhaul app for the drop off.

Had me walk to the storage lot for my rental, all the while the rental was parked right out front, so I had to walk back. The app wouldn't allow me to enter any info because it kept saying the link expired and the verification code no longer works. Attendant didn't explain the process of returning the vehicle after hours. Attendant was rude and I will never use this location nor Uhaul again unless I have no other option. This is not our first negative experience with Uhaul and we wanted to give the company another chance, but you still fell way short.

obie O.I was traveling 1000 miles with the vehicle and trailer. I refilled the tires with air once at about the halfway point. However, two tires had caps that were painted over (assuming the rims were repainted) and almost impossible to screw off to get air to the fill tube. Just an FYI.

This location has a truck/trailer lot that is a couple blocks away from the Chevron and requires either a distant walk or drive to access. He was reluctant to help me attach the trailer and demo the turning signals and breaks. When I asked him to help me he said "do you really need that?" Further, my phone's battery had run out of charge upon arrival to the Chevron and, despite having rented trailers seven or eight times in the last couple of months, he insisted that I photograph my own license and claimed that he was unable to do this on my behalf. I shared with him that I knew this to not be true and he grew angry and told me that I should take my business elsewhere. I again told him that everyone else who has processed me previously had been able to check me in without me photographing my old license he reluctantly agreed and made a lot of angry sighs and sounds as he did it. When we were done I drive down to the lot and he followed a minute or so behind, speeding into the lot purposefully to show his anger about having to join me. It was just an awkward and needlessly confrontational experience with this angry guy. Someone should inform/train him that it's important for safety reasons to test the signals and breaks before departure and that it is OPTIONAL for customers to scan the QR code and upload driver's license pictures themselves, as sometimes customers do not have phones with cameras available at check-in.

The truck was new, clean and easy to navigate. My return was done through the app. I just had to take a few pictures of the pickup and upload them on the app, again super easy, before dropping the keys in the drop box. Excellent experience all around. Will definitely rent from the Wilderness Chevron Uhaul location in the future!
