The truck was so dirty when I got it. And I got charged the cleaning fee. It was nearly impossible to find the truck because it wasn't at the Chevron it was located in a completely different location.

Everything was fine except I was charged an extra 1.5 gallons of gas. I added 3.5 gallons for 18 miles traveled in a 10 foot truck. This filled the tank higher than what it started with. I was still charged an additional 1.5 gallons. The guy said he could not change it and I would have to call the 800 number. I did not want to wait 20 minutes on hold, so I let it go. But, not happy about it.

The parking lot was closed by the time I arrived and I saw other trucks returned in front of the gate where it was too dark and muddy. It was not convenient nor safe to go through the very long truck return process on my mobile in such a dark and unattended location.

Horrible customer service, they make you deliver your truck to offsite parking .2 miles away, did not honor reservation time, do not do contact free pickup, and did I mention they are horribly rude?

Got sent to one location paid for a trailer waited around for them to find no trailer. Had to go to another location and even bring them parts to fix a trailer for me to use. 0/10

Even though I did an online pickup and submitted my photos of ID, I waited in line to show my phone to get keys and the guy at the counter made me go get my driver's license to prove it again. What is the purpose of the app ID verification if we have to do it again at the counter? And the app should say we have to do it again, inside.

I reserved a tow Dolly for Sunday in Clarkston Washington On Friday 2 days before I was supposed to leave they called and said I could not get a tow Dolly in clarkston because all u-haul's in that area are closed on Sunday Where I talk to the people at Clarkston nobody ever told me they were closed on Sunday why would they reserve something for A-day they are not even open I was told I could pick one up on Sunday morning in Spokane which is a 130 miles away but I would have to have it back that day Meaning I would have to drive from Clarkston to Seattle and back to Spokane in 5 hours Are these guys idiots or what I did get one in Seattle but I had to pay for 2 days instead of 1 Plus I had to toe the empty Dolly from Seattle to Clarkston and back and then deliver it Back to the same place which is 25 miles from my house This was the worst experience I've ever had with this company It seems that the left hand does not know what the right hand is doing And the people who tried to help to be honest seem like just idiots who did not really know what they were doing And did not care Granted it was only $45 A-day but why should I have to pay $45 because of some idiot who couldn't tell me they weren't even open on Sunday Hopefully I will not have to rent from these idiots again And if I do I really hope they at least have people who have brains enough to tell you there not open

I returned the truck at 9:50 AM on Sunday, 10/18 with a full tank of gas. The person who examined the truck claims I turned it in after hours with the gas tank only half full. So they charged me an extra $59.55 for fuel. This is just wrong. I suspect that person examined a different truck that may have been turned in after hours. I would like someone to contact me personally to discuss how I am being treated dishonestly and unfairly. I am being ripped off and that's never a good feeling. My phone number is (206) 849-0093

I really did not appreciate being called several times before the appointed drop off time. Unless you give a discount, the unit is im my care until delivery time. Very negative. Understand other customer needs an added incentive would be a return on cost for early delivery. Thank you.

Excellent customer service. Not a huge fan of having a separate lot 100 yards from the store, but I guess it works. Bit confusing to drop off at night. Separately from the location, the uhaul website or app experience is extremely unclear for first-timers. I had no idea I needed to upload pics from the actual truck, definitely could be made more clear within the app experience from uhaul.

I tried to use the mobile app pick up, but the lock on the back of the truck was stuck and it took about an hour for the uhaul employee to get it off. we got way behind schedule in our move and I was very disappointed.

I was picking up a truck early (mobile app) and the truck was returned very late the night before. The representative (Dillon) was great and came in early (2 hrs!) to make sure things went OK. Please give him an "atta-boy".

I reserved a 4x8 for an agreed price and received confirmation but when I arrived to pick up they could only offer a 5x9 at a higher price. I should have been offered the larger trailer at the agreed price but the clerk said he was unable.

My experience using U-Haul couldn't have been worse. I made a reservation for a 20 foot truck which was confirmed, and the location was a 7 minute Uber drive from my residence in Seatac, WA. At 7 o'clock the night before I was informed that my U-20' Haul, that my 20 foot U-Haul was not going to be at the scheduled location in Auburn Washington. Instead, it was going to be in North Bend Washington which was more than $100 in Uber fees. The owner of that location in North Bend couldn't have been more rude and offered no solutions to my problems other than to say, “This is the way U-Haul works, they screw up all the time in one-way rides and you're on your own buddy.” Fortunately, I was able to get through to the U-Haul 24/7 number after waiting about 45 minutes on hold and she told me to call a different phone number at 7 o'clock the following morning. I made the call and the only vehicle available was a 15 foot U-Haul in Maple Valley Washington. That would have been approximately $50 in Uber fees. It's not so much about the money it's the fact that all of my items could not fit in a 15 foot U-Haul and I literally had to throw away living room furniture chairs my bicycle and another dozen items which would not fit into a 15 foot U-Haul. In my opinion you owe me about $5000 in the cost of items I had to take down to the local dump not once but twice. Needless to say, I will never be using U-Haul again and as the lovely gentleman out in North Bend said you can go fuck yourself.”

Like car rentals you need to give the customer a full tank of gas. When the customer brings it back they must fill the tank fully again. This would allow customer to pay for what they used. I only had 1/4 tank when I rented the truck. Not sure how much gas we would use so I put in 40.00 of gas or 3/4 tank. When I turned the truck in the gas was at 1/2 tank so I ended up paying for 1/4 tank I didn't use. |Now the next customer gets 1/2 a tank and I have helped them out based on my own lost gas money. I won't rent again if at all possible as this is a very unfair way to do business. I will let others know that it is run this way also. Not good!!

The station is a local one and very busy. It was difficult to even find a place to park to go in and finish the paperwork. We then had to drive to another location (very close by) to pick up the trailer.

Hi! This might sound like a minor thing but driving the van home at night was a little scary because the windshield was really dirty on the inside and with the reflection of oncoming headlights it was difficult to see. The gentleman that checked us in was awesome!

I booked the van for 9 AM. I was there before 9 AM, but the U-Haul clerk did not show up at 9 AM. Nobody knew where he was. One of the Chevron staff later called him He showed about 9:10 but offered no explanation or apology for being late...

The trailer was fine, almost new. The Attendant was very nice and helpful! The only problem I had was trying multiple times to call the U-Haul phone number. I waited on hold both time for more than 1/2 hour before I gave up. Might want to provide better phone service!!!

It was easy transaction! Maybe, on-line set-up should have a user friendly pick-up! Truck/Van should be completely cleaned and sanitized for CoVid-19 safety! The Van rented needed an oil changed according to dashboard, it was called-in! Make sure that vehicles comply with safety usage!

No employee had a mask on or was practicing social distancing or enforcing customers to wear them when they entered the building. There's was a sign that was eye level on the door that said it was mandatory. One employee (a woman) crowded my space so much that she was a foot away from me. She told me I had to take the van to a "U-Haul lot" when I was returning it but I wasn't told that when I picked up the van. When I picked up the van, a hand truck wasn't available yet it was part of my reservation and I had to drive to another another location to pick one up which put more miles on the van than I expected to do.

The one thing is online you can reserve a truck for 8am and when we got there the uhaul counter didn't open until 9. It doesn't make any sense.

No one answers the phone at uhaul 800 number when you call has you wait then after about 5 minutes it hangs up. Thought we would save some money using uhaul instead of hiring a prof moving company. Instead We spent more money and more headaches.. We had to add fluids. You should Check oil, washer fluid were depleted. Inner wheel on dual tires was flat we were delays 5 hours. Caused us to pay more money For labor And delayed our arrival.

Our overall experience with U-Haul, not the location was less than par. We were able to reserve a 6x12 trailer only to be called at 9:30 pm the night before our pickup to find it was unavailable and our only option for our cross country move was a 5x8 to move from a 3 bedroom house. We attempted to load the tiny trailer to find we were only able to fit the couch and bed into it. Renting a box truck was out of the question due to having a newborn. Because we had the trailer for the night, we were charged a fee even though It was literally hauled from the U-Haul lot and back. We ended up purchasing a trailer out of necessity of our move. Very disappointing experience and we will not be using U-Haul again.

Got charged extra even though I returned everything early. Not only that, the equipment we borrowed was filthy, I now have stuff that is stained due to the uncleanness of the truck. Definitely not happy.

The truck was so poorly maintained that we had problems with it during our travels to our destination in Montana. We made it luckily. I would have expected a truck being given to a one-way rental to be more properly maintained.
