I turned my truck in 15 hours prior to the time stated. I wasn't credited for the extra gas left in the truck.. just seems incredibly over priced

LISA TThe bad review is for the gentleman at the drop off lot, the lady inside the gas station was great. Went to drop off the truck at the gas station and was told to drive it around the corner to their storage lot and that someone was over there to check me in. Get to the lot and don’t see anyone but there was a regular blue pickup truck sitting at the very far end of the gated area. The entire lot itself was dirt and not maintained so it was all dug up with giant holes and since I wasn’t greeted by anyone I sat at the entrance for a moment trying to figure out what to do. I got out to see if I could find anyone and then someone emerged from the blue truck and yelled at me “that’s not a good place park it” and confirmed he wanted me move it inside the lot for him. I moved the truck into the bumpy area and was finally met by the gentleman there. The check out was fine after that but the entire experience with “link” lacked any resemblance of good customer service

Lee DHaving to go to the office, drive to the lot, then back to the office, and then the same on the return is extremely time consuming. It adds easily an hour to the process which leaves this as a less desirable experience than other locations.

WILLIAM RThe lock on my truck did not work and I had to go back to Wilderness Auto for a second time for them to open the truck which put me an hour behind schedule. What really made me upset is that they knew the locks were bad and they didn’t have them replaced. Very poor operation and customer service. I will never go back to this location and will tell everyone I know not to either.

STUART MIt's really confusing to have a separate uhaul lot from the gas station store.
Kaifu HMileage on trucks is suspect. Went 30 miles at full tank and had to put in 6.8 gal (4.4 avg).

MICHAEL HEverything was ok until I returned the truck , the fuel tank was not all the way full , I drove the truck total 8 miles and they charged me 3 gallons of fuel for 8 miles long , it’s SCAMMERS
VLADIMIR MReserved a 15’ box truck but then was called when I was on way to pick it up saying they couldn’t fulfill the confirmed reservation. Offered a van as only option. Picked up van, front covered in dog hair, back muddy, moldy and I had to spend over an hour cleaning before loading up. When turning it back in I told them and they complained I lifted up back rubber mat, which I had to clean because of nasty mold. Then they charged me a cleaning fee even though I returned it much much cleaner then when I picked it up, which is crazy. Overall rating, zero stars for the vehicle and zero stars customer service.

KEVIN PI had reserved 5x8 trailer at Auburn location but 1 day before pick up Uhaul inform me that my Auburn pick up location was chage to new location without my permission. I had no choice to accept at new location to pick up.

Ben WA wet spot was in the truck bed (passenger side corner nearest the cab). It was disappointing to learn that returning the truck outside of the 9:00-5:00 hours would incur a charge, which made scheduling more challenging. Returning the truck required almost no interaction with the rental staff - park it in the yard and put the key in the key box.
Gregory SLet the customer know ahead of time that blankets need to be folded upon return. We didn’t see the sign as we were in the middle of moving, and we received a call to turn around and drive 15 mins back to fold blankets. When we came back I said, we didn’t realize we needed to this, and the rep said, “there’s a sign right there.” It was rude. It may be in the contract, there may be a random sign in the truck, but it would be a courtesy to let people know ahead of time, just like you do about gas.
DAYNA GMost everything was good. My only complaint is that you put a hand-truck in the box truck which blocks off a portion of the storage area and if I want to move it out of the way it costs $7. I found that annoying. I called about it and the only solution they offered was to bring the truck back and they could remove the dolly - the mileage charge would have been more than $7 so I just worked around it but it was a pain. you should include items customers do not request especially if it takes up valuable loading space.
ERIC CThe bicycle is given to me with 90% fuel and I returned the vehicle with 95% of the fuel and they charged me for 2 gal. I dropped the van at around 6 after talking to store person and she confirmed no change just leave the vehicle in Lot and drop the keys. But still they charged $20. I would have dropped the vehicle next day after 9 and I have time to 1pm next day. Why would I have of the vehicle for extra charge when I still have time until next day.

ROBYN ACharged me a $25 cleaning fee when I returned the back of the truck in pristine condition. The floor mats were muddy because their U Haul lot is literally all parked in mud. Nice job with your BS tactics to suck more money out of customers, hope you spend it on your health ✌🏻
GARBIS OThey claimed I left the truck at less fuel than it was actually at and charged me almost $12 for 2 gallons of gas. After getting in touch with a manager, it was resolved because they read the gas gauge incorrectly and I was refunded. However, it’s absurd that U-Haul expects people to bring vehicles back at 5/8 or 11/16 and have staff somehow figure out what is what. Just require that all vehicles are brought back full!!!!!!
BRYAN CWhen I picked up the truck it was filthy and not as full as indicated. I had to walk in the rain way down a hill to a parking lot and locate the truck. When I returned I was charged a cleaning fee and exorbitant fuel price. Not happy!

JAMES OI was told by the agent in Woodburn Oregon I would get a $60 reimbursement if I drop off the vehicle in Maple Valley Wa. Unfortunately that was not the case when I dropped it off. I would have not driven the extra 20 miles if I would have known I wasn’t getting the reimbursement.

Amit MI had my rental time go beyond what time the employee was working, but with the key drop I wasn't charged more for not turning in keys to a person. They were also flexible with our drop off and utilizing the app for the returns process was very convenient!

MICHAEL SCheck in location was not clearly marked by Chevron gas station. I thought google maps took me to the wrong place at first but then talking to attendant inside station he told me it was the right place but drop off location was different
Mark NI love that the equipment is not on the main street so that it is easy to pull trucks out and on the road. The staff was amazing and helped us adjust out drop off so that it was easier for us.
TERESA Gthe uhaul van was a big help with the move.The inside was muddy and dirty.
