More choice of vehicles. It did work out nicely that a smaller truck was available for part of the day, but initially we had to reserve a larger truck than we needed for the job. Service was very friendly!brad P.

I was advised that I would have to return the vehicle with a minimum of 1/2 tank of gas but discovered that the vehicle had less than 1/2 tank of gas when rented. In addition I discovered after rental that there was a discount if I cleaned the vehicle before returning it. I was not advised of this before picking it up and I cleaned it before I returned it but I still paid the full rental price.LLOYD EUGENE S.

I reserved my truck Sept 21st to be picked it up on Oct 30th, it was over a month prior to the moving date. On Oct 29th, less than 24h before my move, I got an email from uhaul saying that I had no truck available at the location I chose over a month ago and had to travel almost 50km to get the closest available truck, which was not even the one I had reserved, they offered me a bigger truck. It was extremely frustrating for me, on top of everything else I had to deal with at that day, you know moving days are very stressful and uhaul made it even worse. I wish uhaul had taken my reservation more seriously, and to make up for it, I wish uhaul had not charged me for any of it.Giulia P.

The gas estimation that was supposed to help me refill to the same level as when I picked the truck up was wrong. The you haul paper work had a recommended refill amount and by following it I over paid by about $20. Feels unfair.Daniel W.
We picked up the truck Oct 25 and told him our location drop off changed from liverpool to cold brook. The 27th, I called to say I would be keeping truck til 29. When we dropped it of at kentville, it was chaos. We paid over 500 to drive from windsor ns to coldbrook ns. Not happyCathy D.

I had a reservation I made online, no issues. I got to the location and at the last moment the system issued an â€œe-alertâ€ and refused to allow the sales girl to rent to me. I spent 15 mins on hold calling the head office, and was connected to an extremely rude and demeaning lady who told me apparently there was an outstanding amount from 2 years ago that needed to be paid before I could rent anything. Thing is, I've rented several times since then and have never had issue, never heard about any outstanding balance. The agent told me something about the rental agent falsifying my drivers license to rent to me - again I don't understand that, I certainly never gave permission for that. My $25 rental ended up costing almost $100 for 4 hours as I had no choice but to pay this apparent outstanding fee that I had no proof of and the agency that rented it to me was closed. This wasn't the locations fault at all, it is entirely u-Haul office trying to money grab and accuse me of providing false information. Beware! It likely won't be as inexpensive as you think.Kathleen M.

I drove for 1 hour and 30 minutes to pick up the rental. You could try and have more stock at more locations so we don't have to drive so far for pick up . There was only one person working the gas station and he was working the rentals as wellTeresa C.

Be able to reach you by phone. I called a number of times and always got a fax machine. I had to go directly to your place of business to order a vehicle. Other than that everything was excellent..Harlen S.
THE FIRST TRANSPORTER THAT I WAS ISSUED WAS NOT MAINTAINED AND I HAD TO RETURN IT FOR ANOTHER. THE TIRE TIE DOWN WAS SO WRAPPED UP IN THE RACHET THAT IT WOULD HAVE HAD TO BEEN CUT FREE.chris S.

The location and the staff were great. But u-haul change my pick up location. So I had to drive 1/2 an hour out of my way to pick up and drop off. Wasting my time and gas. With no discount to help off set the added expense. Also the computer system could not process the order the lady working tried 3 times. She had to call in and have the do it over the phone. This cost me over an hour of waiting.David N.

This location was great! However when we dropped off the trailer, the Dartmouth location had given us a different trailer then what was on our contract. This caused a time consuming drop off, thankfully the personnel was very helpful!COREY W.

I have been charged twice for the same truck on my credit card, I am super irate because of this. I want this fixed now.brittany S.
vehicles need to be serviced by a technician. had no washer fluid, power steering and brake fluids were low, and fuek was only at 1/4 of a tank when we picked it up. trucks should be full of fuel, fluids topped up and general maintenance checked. rental agent was very helpful. the vehicle was clean but not mechanically ready by any means.CHRIS E.
The Windsor location was great, but I called and asked to be directed to the nearest auto transport. Your dispatch center sent me to Green St in Halifax first which is 40 minutes plus away from my house (Windsor is 25). Upon arrival there, the trailer had a broken bolt in brake mechanism and he tryed to talk me into fixing it with a random bolt he had that would not work anyway. They were in capable of booking me a replacement until I took the phone and spook to the uhaul staff member on the line and made my arrangements for the closer unit in Windsor. So Green St gets a huge thumbs down! As well so does your location servic, wasted huge amounts of my time.JEFF R.

It is difficult for uhaul to juggle things around with the high demand for vehicles , the start to my request did not go wellI requested a 15 ft trailer and two days before pickup I was told it it would be a 27 ft. This put me in a bad position until the last uhaul employee took the reigns she went into action immediately after realizing a 27 ft would block the main road into a university town. She was efficient and the following day which was the day before moving she found one in an area which was close by. I commend her for this. All went smooth the driver was overly pleased with how it drove.carol A.
