The four-wire extension (approx 2.5 ft long) that connects trailer lights to the vehicle was non-functional. So the helpful attendant & the customer swapped it out for a different four-wire extension (kept at the ready behind the rental desk); it didn't function either. Ultimately of the four available four-wire extensions cords, none were operable (four tests of trailer light system all failed). Fortunately, the trailer light wiring harness attached to the customer's vehicle had some extra length initially tucked away under interior body panels (inside the rear hatch). Accordingly, the customer exploited that previously unknown extra length to facilitate the connector being able to protrude from the back of the tow vehicle hatch an additional nine inches. Doing so enabled the connector to reach the trailer's four-pin connector. Then trailer lights test was again repeated & all trailer lights were proven functional. It is recommend this U-Haul dealer periodically test the serviceability of their small inventory (kept at the ready behind the rental desk) of four-wire extensions (approx 2.5 ft long) to ensure they fully functional when the customer arrives to rent the trailer. Had the customer not been able to exploit the nine inches of the wiring harness within his vehicle, the rental would not have occurred (due to inoperable trailer lights).

This whole experience was horrible.
Rod JMy experience with this location worked out in the end. I was to pick up a 10 foot truck Wednesday, April 29 at 8 AM. I ended up finally getting the truck at 12:15 PM.
Robert B- other clients were prioritized over us - We made a reservation for a 15ft truck, but got a 20ft truck and got charged for a 20ft truck. - Was not able to update the mileage, wich was off by 8000km
Felix BAttendant not helpful answering questions. Station pumps are old and outdated without pay at pump.
