There was no one to meet us, but that was fine. It said on our contract to call when we got there and the person on the phone was easy to chat to. The only improvement would be for Uhaul to make it clearer to customers to use the uhaul.com/share check-in while you are still on location. Telling people to do that AFTER going to the website is too late. Technically we weren't at the location â€œafter hoursâ€ it just wasn't manned, so we decided to do the online return, and thankfully my husband did it before we left because although we'd taken photos we didn't know until we logged in that you couldn't upload a photo - you had to use your camera within the website - I get the logic of it (to make sure people don't use old photos/other people's photos), but when you're busy it would be easy to think â€œI'll deal with that when I get homeâ€ and then find that you can't.Andrew S.

My issue was with the truck share app. I was to pick up truck at 930, I was there at 915. Went to start pickup the app, would not recognize location. All my phone settings were on. Called for support, was on hold for 25 min, spoke with someone, put back on hold for another 45 min. Ended up having to call dealer rep who came down to rent me the truck. Messed up hole day. Had a crew waiting to move and because of this issue was two hours late! My issue is not with Brad the rep. He didn't have to come after hours but did and I'm thankful for that.SHANNONONEAL S.

The agent at this location was extremely unprofessional. He spent the entire time of checking me in cursing the previous customer. He was also driving through the parking lot ridiculously fast and threw gravel up onto my car, which caused scratches on my paint. There is no issue with this location itself. My overall experience was atrocious! My truck was no where near me, I needed to drive an hour to get there. When I got there after all that uhaul booked the wrong truck after switching it and I could not even check in. This led to us rushing around trying to figure it out, I tripped in the lot on loose gravel and smashed my cell phone I was trying to check in with. Thank god the owner in Waynesboro showed up and manually checked us in. When returning we could not get the self check in to work at all either. My overall experience was aweful and I will pay more for an actual moving company as you all made me move stressful and hectic!Christopher P.

I really wish I had been given the option of dropping off the U-Haul in Strasburg which was closer to the end point for our move. Having to drive the extra miles to Woodstock made us go over the allotted amount of Miles, so I ended up paying extra for the overage. Thank goodness it wasn't too much! Also, there was no guidance as to parking- such as road stripes or signs-and it seemed to be in back of someone's house!Colleen D.

The man who was there went above and beyond trying to help us, but we still ended up being over an hour late to where we needed to be due to nobody being there at the correct time, then having to wait while someone who had just gotten there was taken care of first (to be fair, the employee probably didn't know we had been there first. We waited a while but had to run to the gas station for bathrooms and came back), and then the truck we were given already had a flat tire which put us even further behind. The gentleman helping us went ahead and decided to get us a different truck thankfully. That guy was the only thing that saved this experience from being a complete and total disasterAnna B.

The problem I had was not necessarily with the location but with the app. the self-checkout process was the most horrendous experience I've ever had using a self-service application. if someone has made a reservation a week in advanced and something is wrong with it do not wait untill less than 24 hour to call them. the location i then had to go to the guy didnt even show up until 9:15. tried to ask why i was getting the price i was getting with so many miles. i had told him i was in a crunch for time as he got there late and yet i still left at 9:50. the whole over all experience was terrible. i always use uhal and after this last experience i do not think i will be using you all again.Audrey D.

I had trouble with the express check-in at 8:30 a.m. . I tried to contact Brad, the manager of the location to no avail. I was finally able to get through to customer service who was able to walk me through the pickup. Brad never returned my call and I left there at 9:30 , so he never showed to help me at all, even when the shop was supposed to be open. Had to wait well over an hour to get everything processed, and I was the only one there to pick up something. had to drive 50 round trip miles to pick it up when there were several U Haul places much closer..James P.

He is not there all day every day as it is just a tiny office attached to storage units business but if you call, he'll be there quickly. In and out with truck in 10 minutes or less.
