Scheduled pickup at convenience store knowing they would be open late. Pick up location was changed to a garage that closed before we picked up. Online uhaul app failed when pick up truck was clicked. Moved with truck went to return at uhaul store at destination and was told they were not charging me for the truck. Garage charged my car today. Whole process was a mess. Held me up at destination trying to fix issue and then when I was told due to uhaul app error I wouldn't be charged then pick up location charged my card.Bob H.

Tiny, DIRTY auto repair shop in "Podunk". Guy was out "making a parts pickup" for an hour after scheduled pick-up time with only answering machine. Said he only gets a truck "about every 4 months'. Had hand trucks and other stuff in back, not swept, front not clean... Have a routine where this cleaning is done on arrival and checked before next. Be there for appointment.richard L.

The location did a great job working with us and was very personable. Although this WASN'T the location I was supposed to pick my truck up at. We were told the evening before that the truck would not be available in Lewisburg and had to drive out of our way. After talking with uhaul again later in the evening I was much happier but the girl who called to tell us of the change was not helpful and only gave us a "discount" for the mileage from Jersey Shore. Did not discuss gas in our own cars OR gas in the uhaul. Very disappointed in that initial conversation about the change.Janel Z.

It's not the location that is the problem. It's the corporate headquarters. At the last minute they changed my place of pickup 12 miles out of my way. Then the pickup location did not have the correct dolly nor did they have the (2) mattress covers I prepaid for. Nor did I get a refund. They need better customer service higher up .Deborah P.

It took this location five additional days beyond turn in the check in the truck. The field manager for U-Haul ended up driving over and checking the truck in. I called U-Haul and the turn in location everyday in order to have the truck checked in. U-Haul and customer service was very helpful. Woody's, however, was complacent and unhelpful in every way.Audrey B.

Kind of a strange place to pick up uhaul equipment, but the owner was extremely pleasant and helpful. I even called him at 10pm the night before because of some concerns I had. He listened patiently and reassured me my equipment would be ready for me.tery P.

I was disappointed in my rental. The trailer I wanted was available online just a few blocks from my house, that's why I ordered it online to pick it up there. I even got a confirmation that it was available there. However before the day of pickup I was notified I had to pick it up 20 miles away... in the opposite direction. I called but they said it was no longer available and couldn't help me. I had to go way out of my way to get the trailer in the wrong direction. The place I got it was good but I was very disappointed. I wasted time and money traveling. If the website says it is available and I get a confirmation.... it should be available. I may have to consider going somewhere else.Mark W.

The location I originally reserved the vehicle texted me the day before pickup to inform me I had to go to a different location to get the truck. What does reservation mean to you? To me it means if you accept and confirm the order, the truck is there as the reservation stated. Additionally, I requested a change to a 15' truck instead of a 20'. The change was agreed on. When I got to the alternate location, I was informed they only had a 20' vehicle. Again, what does a reservation and confirmation mean to you? Ended up costing me more money for gasoline.Richard W.
The guy didn't even show up to meet us to rent the truck. It didn't have the appliance dolly that was a major inconvience to attain, since he did not call, as he said he would or tell me he took it off our bill. As we were driving cross country with a fully loaded truck in weather that ranged from the 90's-100's, my husband discovered it didn't have air conditioning, which when I called the above person to get the truck longer and mentioned about the air conditioner, he said "that's terrible". What is terrible is this guys customer service skills.Kelly L.

Vehicle reservation was for noon but when checking online they put it for 8am. Just before noon I called to find out if vehicle was ready only to find out that they close from noon to 1 for lunch and couldn't pick up until 1. Upon return I was billed for 3 gallons of gas when I used truck for 10 miles and put gas into it. Overall it was nice not having to run to town but unless I have a similar move I wouldn't use them again.brian C.

This truck had something mechanically wrong where you could not drive it without it serving all over the road. I'm sure it was not the locations fault but rather no one told them when it was turned in last time.Regina H.

your reservation system on line did not leave me feeling warm and fuzzy about would the trailer be there or not. I called original rental location (Ken in Mansfield, Pa) who was very helpful and switched me to regional where they changed my rental location. When I got there it was obvious that the regional people did not do what he said he was going to do. Thank God the trailer I ordered was there or my day would have been screwed. I was not pleased, but the gentlemen at Woody's were so kind and apologetic that I decided to go through with it. I got the job done, but if I need any rentals I will either go to Woodys directly or go elsewhere than U haulRAYMOND H.

Uhaul is great until the renter has a problem with a mistake uhaul has made. We moved to a new state, not knowing uhaul drop offs or any connecting cities. We told uhaul where we were moving, with trusting uhaul would find the correct drop off. They drew up a contract for a drop off that was 65 miles from the town we moved. Said i signed it, and uhaul wldnt change the drop off. I signed it thinking uhaul was profesional and gave me the correct town. Just didnt think there was a drop off in the town i was moving, hence why the contract had a different drop off location then the actual town we moved to. The main uhaul place took 30 minutes on the phone to tell me i would be charged for dropping at a new location (5min from my town)and that now i was late, due to uhaul and there worthless phone system. Charged for both, the women was very very rude, ignorant, talked over me, would not let me explain,very un helpful and completeley blamed me! Uhaul typed the wrong city in. How do you mix up "marlton" with "neshanic station"? Come on uhaul. Like i said, there great until an iconvience and expensive mistake was made by them. I do recommend uhaul, but just double check there work before you sign anythingBrad C.

This location is well situated and the attendant was very helpful. I'm afraid, however, that the U-Haul traffic here is simply an afterthought and the focus of the place is elsewhere. The unit I rented had not been cleaned, the blankets from the previous move had simply been left in a pile, and we were permitted to leave the franchise without a properly functioning electrical hookup. I was concerned that all previous damage to the rental unit had not been properly noted with damage-indicator-stickers. Very nice folks. Below average satisfaction.David S.

I didn't get the size of truck I had reserved, and I still haven't received a copy of my bill. It really cost me a lot of extra time and money to accomplish my move. I'm actually still not finished. I would suggest you don't tell people you have a truck they need when you don't. I would have gone elsewhere. Bad business.TIM D.

Originally I was renting from a place in Lock Haven but they told me 2 days in advance of my move date they did not have what I needed. I had to make calls to the traffic center and I am glad I did or I would not have made my move as planned. I ended up getting what I needed and the young man at Woody's was very pleasant and helpful.Gail R.
While the service people were very friendly and the truck was clean, there was no air conditioning. The steering also was very unwieldy. We did not notice the poor condition of the truck until we had left. U-Haul did allow us to exchange the truck for a larger truck at no additional cost.KATHY R.

Issues with incorrect info. They told us we could drop off the truck in Williamsport pa. However, when we got to the return local in Williamsport, the y said we could not drop it off there. We were told that our contract held us to drop it off at the pick up locale only, or pay a hefty penalty of $200+. We had never heard of that and we under the misunderstanding we could drop it off anywhere. Please respond.... very dissatisfied !!!! Plus we were never told we had to ensure the gas was at a certain level. The people at the Williamsport locale told us that. But not at the pickup locale. Issues with that. Regina Barnerregina B.
