The pick up truck was really dirty especially the outside .I had to pull over and clean the window too see safely. Also I have small children And the backseat had been removed from the pick up truck so therefore I had to hire a sitter to watch the kids because I cannot take them The service there was very friendly and nice I would recommend this place overallCathy H.

Up until 40 minutes before we were to pick up. U-Haul changed the location to somewhere else. Luckily wreckers towing rented to us anyway because she knew our reservation had been sitting there for three days. Bad policy makes me reconsider renting from U-Haul. Wreckers were great!MATTHEW E.

Wreckers towing and the truck rental was okay, but the reservation I made for the tow dolly was horrendous. Upon getting to the location of the tow dolly reservation in Irvine, we were told that they had no such tow dollies at the location and that they never carried them. So the UHaul site allowed me to make a reservation at this location even thought they never even carry the equipment needed. This location then sent us to Costa Mesa, another city. Where we were once again told that the location did not have the tow dolly needed. Finally we had to go to another location in another town and had to add an additional hour to our trip and 40 additional miles to our UHaul rental truck not to mention the extra gas of city driving for an hour. Once we finally got the tow dolly something was wrong with the equipment and it caused the towing car to travel at an angle making it hard to tow straight and it wore down the rear tires of the vehicle on the dolly excessively. We tried multiple times to pull the car on and off, even stopping to measure all of the chain lengths to ensure they were equal but the car still traveled sideways and upon removing the car the last time we noticed the center pivot of the tow dolly did not rotate at all. This was an absolutely horrible experience all round by UHaul and I have no desire to use your services again.Emanuel D.

The office smelled strong of cigarette smoke. Even with a mask on it was strong. Secondly not all the equipment I wanted was there. I asked for an appliance dolly and the didn't have it. I asked if they could call and find one for me. They did at the Golden State location. I drove there and rented the dolly. When I returned the van at the Arden location in Sacramento I was charged .17 for going over my mileage. It's not a big deal but traveling to get the dolly put me over. I was very disappointed with the first location and my experience.JOE E.

I had a reservation for December 7th 2019 but my truck was given to another person on December 6th under my name. I spent approximately 3 hours on the phone with the Sherifs Department and field manager and U-Haul as well as time spent on the phone with Wreckers Towing. While this truck was out I was financially responsible for it even though I did not have physical possession of the truck. I had to spend time securing another rental to use today. I am very disappointed that U-Haul would not remedy this situation for me. The field manager was not reachable by phone by either the deputy sheriff or Beverly at Wreckers Towing. Beverly was very apologetic and tried her best to fix this and Vickie at the 1-800 number was also very nice and called to check back on me.Jennifer P.

This facility is an older location, that is in an older part of town. Once I started talking to the lady inside, I was VERY comforted to see that she was nice ... and very competent! I'd definitely go back to this facility.Chris R.

GET MORE ATTENDENTS LIKE BEVERLY THIS WAS MY WIFES' FIRST TIME RENTING A TRUCK AND SHE MADE IT SO EASY SHE WALKED HER THROUGH STEP BY STEP EXPLAINED THE RENTAL AGREEMENT IN DETAIL AND SHOWED HER THE TRUCK AND TO CLOSE THE BACK DOOR, THE TRUCK WAS CLEAN. AFTER, I WAS GOING TO RETURN THE TRUCK BUT MY WIFE INSISTED SHE WOULD JUST TO THANK BEVERLY FOR MAKING OUR MOVE A PLEASANT EXPERIENCE. YES WE'LL BE BACK!! THANKYOU SO SO MUCH!!!! We first reserved a 20 ft truck and car dolly at D and D uhaul in Turlock. Several days later it was not available. Only truck available was at Wreckers towing. We were told there weren't any car dollies anywhere in the central valley. We went to Wreckers. Place looked like a shack on the outside. Only 2 trucks on the lot. Rosa kept saying there was a computer malfunction. There was never any car dollies there or auto transports and there never have been at that site but we were sent there. She tells us to take the truck and go to D and D to get the car dolly or auto transport. We ask if it is okay if we pick it up the next day. She says yes. We go to D and D the next day. They say we are late. We were there at 11:30 and our reserved time was 1:30. They say they have no dollies or auto transport! Also that we have no insurance and it is to late to get any. We told Rosa that we wanted full coverage whatever that was. We thought that was what we were getting. Apparently she did not put that in but the lesser amount and nobody could change it. When we told them we didn't want to drive a vehicle with no libility insurance they told us to just be careful cause they could not give it to us because the contract was over an hour old! They sent us on to Manteca. Once there, a young man did try to be helpful but the traffic center said they could not help us. They could not do anything about the liability insurance and to just drive safely without insuance!!! Who does that! We called Phoenix to a corporate office and they were totally rude!!! We finally decided that we had no choice but to drive that way and get the car transport to haul the car. It was such a horrible experience. Took up our whole day that was suppose to be committed to traveling. I had such an anxiety attack and thought I was going to have heart attack. Awful experience. My son in law took off work the next day and traveled several hours back to wreckers and got things straightened out that the other places couldn't and wouldn't. He had talked to someone in an executive position somewhere else that told him the procedure to take. I don't ever want to use Uhaul again. I will seek all options first. I will tell everyone who will even half way listen about our horrible experience and never recommend this company. BTW......Rosa at the Wreckers Towing did a inspection of the truck to show us where all the previous damage was but she never had us try the lights and windshield wipers etc. We got to our destination to start moving and we noticed a huge nail in the tire and the inside tire was bald. The back up light did not work on the truck. The windshield wipers needed to be replaced as when we went to use them when it started raining rubbed against the glass and hesitated. The muffler had a hole in it. the windshield was dirty. We left the trucklarry C.

Not a review on Wreckers Towing ... this is for UHaul.com ..... The price quoted on uhaul.com was not what I was charged. The charge was almost double. Bait and switch. Better Business Bureau will be notified. U-Haul customer service we're zero help. Price on uhaul.com was easy to verify. Was showing the same price while we were on the phone with them at the same time they were telling us the price could not be verified. Classic bait and switch.Chris L.
