Obtaining the vehicle was an absolute pain. Once I was finally in the vehicle, the cab was completely filthy. Then, once I turned the vehicle on, the gas gauge was on empty. Not even 1/8, but right at E. So the first thing I had to do was go to a gas station and fill the tank, which cut into the time of my haul.jay P.

Had tire blow 30 miles down the road and waited for 2 and a half hours by the interstate for assistance to help fix the tire. Worst uhaul experience I've had. I did online check in. Took the employee over 45 min to get my truck for me. Didn't know what he was doing. Entered my credit card info into his phone. Didn't have the dolly I reserved. Didn't have enough furniture pads and the ones he did have were extremely dirty and thrown into the back of an already dirty truck. Didn't go over the truck at all or the mileage and gas.Curt C.

Better question is what criteria does U-Haul have to allow a business to be a dealer. NONE Unless you are in the market for a rapping bass car stereo system, I wouldn't rent here. Find another dealer location.Kent C.

The facility was in a guy's garage basically. The UHaul wasn't ready and there was a whole deal to get it going. He had to get on the phone with some other fellow to get things done -- It was like the Twilight Zone right down to the cans of wasp spray he had to use to get a key from the lock box. There was garbage near the entrance -- one truck in a lot in the alley and I had called and called and called to get ahold of him with no reply. I finally went on the day I was supposed to and waited at the place (which was nearly impossible to find -- a lot "out back" of the fish aquarium...) He kept apologizing because his computer was down -- oh it was just a nightmare -- very unsavory. I asked the other UHaul place where I had to go to get blankets and supplies why they didn't rent long distance out of their establishment. There were like 50 trucks there and it felt like a legitimate place of business. Something about "we don't rent long distance." I could not believe the place I picked up my truck, and the whole experience was not by some rinky dink operation. I can say UHAUL will be my last choice for moving in future.Susan F.

Was dissapointed with Uhaul in general. Originally made reservation over phone in to pick up in my home town. Was told I could pick up truck there. Two days prior to rental was told I had to pick up a truck in another town and wasn't even gaurenteed a truck. I'm confused as to why Uhaul even has a reservation tool when the following aren't gaurenteed. Location pick up/location drop off/ truck size/pick up time/ drop off time or availability of any truck at all. Secondly I picked up truck with an 1/8 of a tank. Returned truck with a half tank and had to pay for the extended mileage for pick up and drop off. Overall experience was dissapointing. Would not recommend.CHRIS B.
This is the worst experience I have had with Uhaul. I was set to pick up the truck at 11am and I arrived to find out the location did not open until noon. The area where the public interacts with the Uhaul representative was dirty with ceiling tiles missing or on the brink of falling out. Due to the quality of the printer several areas of the contract were not readable. Overall a very disappointing experience. I most likely will use another brand of rental truck the next time.John S.

though the location was convenient and the personnel friendly they really didn't seem to know what they were doing. they had no idea that I had reserved a truck when I requested a second dolly he had to call for help. It took about 20 minutes to get all the paperwork taken care of and get the truck.Cynthia S.
