Jamie JMy initial overall negative comment is not based on location but experience over all with U-Haul. I am disappointed with U-Haul. I reserved a truck here in Lafayette, received a call that the first location did not have the truck I needed. They gave me a second location that would. I went to the second location at the agreed upon time. That truck was not there either. Dispatch gave me a third location that had a truck but was located over an hour away. This was costly in fuel there and back plus time wasted. I was only offered a $149 discount which was not really acceptable. This is the second time in under a month where U-Haul said that they would have a vehicle and didn’t. I will no longer be using U-Haul for transportation needs.

JESSICA BThe truck was invested with Cock Roaches...thousands! The truck cabin was filthy. No one ver cleaned this or even looked inside! This is a PIZZA PLACE not a Uhaul center. HORRIBLE!
Tim GI went in and had to do the reservation on the app while I was there rather than her just doing the reservation. I also was only going a few miles to pick items up and take them to my house, so I did not take the additional insurance. However she added it anyway even though I told her I didn’t want it. I didn’t realize this until I got the email receipt at the end of the rental. Also, the truck was in rough shape - dings, dents, rust. The time it took on the app to do everything was seriously longer than the time I had the truck in my possession. The app didn’t work right.
Jennifer DIt started off very ruff. No one told us that we had to do this online. Through the app. I was furious. I didn't know how to do this. IF I had been told this ahead of time I would have made sure to have gotten help. I received a call from a very nice man and he did what needed to be done from his end. TY John for helping
wanda wWe had to shovel the uhaul truck out which was completely unexceptable. The truck stalled everytime you stopped. We even had to have road side assistance out at one point because it would not even restart.

AMY FChange the fact of the rate per mile for driving very expensive for a beat up old vehicle where the breaks sounded like it needed new ones. And be up front about the fees. Adding extra environmental fees and charging extra for protection fee and saying it’s just what we do is not cool at all. To expensive, last time I’m ever using this. Renting old equipment for high prices sorry no
