There was more damage on the truck than was marked, the cab was caked with mud, there was trash in all of the cubbies, when I tried to pick up the truck moberly the app did not work so I had to wait 3 hours for the office to open, there were Sharpie marker stains in the back of the truck on every wall, it was not swept. And there were screws driven into the wooden boards on the inside of the truck that ripped up my furniture and stabbed me in the leg more than once as I tried to load things. The truck was trashed, and it didn't even look like the people at cube storage attempted to clean it even a little bit, the second location where I dropped the truck off was shocked at its condition and almost didn't believe me when I tried to tell them it was cleaner than when I got it. These people should be strongly reprimanded. either clean the truck or tell the customer and the company that the truck is dirty so that the customer doesn't have to fight with the drop off location over truck condition.Jeremiah B.

The Aurora location was not the original pick up location I had selected, but it was great. I booked a 15' truck on the U-Haul website, and when I arrived at my original selection, they informed me that they had no inventory. The staff also told me that U-Haul does not shut off the ability to reserve a truck when there is no inventory. So I had to waste an hour of my time and drive to a separate location and pick up a smaller truck. Because of this, I now have to rent another truck to move my remaining items.Jose F.

For the next customer I would make sure that the reservation call center and the local dealership has equipment ready for them and not have to switch and try to find equipment at the last minute. I was very displeased with U-Haul because I had to get a different truck and trailer and make multiple trips and then U-Haul was not willing to give me extra miles due to their lack of practicing good business. I return the truck the night before. The representative check the truck in at 10:30 am and I received one extra day of charge. That is totally unacceptable service. THe uhal online/phone process is great. The road leading up to the location wasn't plowed. When we drove away, the truck got stuck in the snow, about 100 feet from the property and some strangers had to pull us out. The back gate wouldn't open because it is was frozen with a sheet of ice. It would have been nice if they could have warmed up and cleaned off the truck. We wasted well over an hour to finally be able to leave. I have passed this site for numerous years and I've seen it grow to be an amazing size property but my suggestion would be for them to hire a service to shovel so that customers can reach them.Christopher C.

This wasn't even the fault of the location I don't believe. I ordered a 20 ft truck and was notified when I got there that all they had was a 10ft. Cost me to make numerous trips, my movers stayed for 9 hours instead of 4 ($300+ extra), I personally had to go back and finish because the movers couldn't get everything done. UHaul charged me for the additional mileage and returning the truck late!!!!!! Ridiculous!!!!! Support tried giving me a $50 credit... are you kidding me! This not only got me additional $300 for movers, you charged me over an extra $100, I missed my daughter seeing our new house for the first time because I was back at the apartment trying to finish moving everything over. Just an absolute disaster and ruined my whole weekend of moving all cause you didn't have the truck I ordered and didn't notify me until I showed up to pick it up! Still waiting to hear back from the individual that'll be providing me the correct compensation for this fiasco.Isaac H.

I reserved days and the guy would not make it happen. He charged me 5 days and then 3 days. He said it would not charge my card until I returned the truck and for as many days as I used it. Not true. It's not a full U-Haul store, so they didn't have much of a selection of things like locks and other materials. The two men in the store were very professional and prompt. Also, the pickup location changed from my reservation. It would help if it was more clear when I make the reservation that the pickup and dropoff locations could change. But what made it extra confusing was that the reservation process seemed to imply that the equipment I wanted was available at the location I chose.Shishu G.

After being told my reservation was no longer available the day of my move from a Littleton, a new reservation was made at this location. After driving out to Aurora, they told me the new reservation was only for the tow trailer. Had to create a new reservation for the truck back in denver, pick it up, leave my car, return to Aurora for the trailer and back to denver for the car. Then I was overcharged for both the truck and trailer. Was quoted for around 750 online with insurance on the truck and ended up spending 1000. Never received my 50 dollar discount for the reservation switch as well. My move was postponed a day. Requested refund and will have to wait over the weekend plus three days for it to be reviewed. Will dispute the charge if not refunded for the amount quoted.Chase D.

These changes were never made when I called 1-800-GO-U-Haul, although I was assured the updates would be made. This caused MUCH confusion when I dropped off the truck. This is the worst U-Haul I've ever been to. I was a few minutes to returning the vehicle and was charged for another day. Lack of transparency at its worst. If there was less than one star I'd give it to them since they don't deserve a star.Salah B.
