My first time using an auto hauler. Walked me through everything; when I picked up my Gator, I had no problem loading and securing it.

DUSTIN LHad a bad experience with the rental towing trailer had a bad ratchet straps noticed once had the car already loaded Inspected upon arrival to pick up locked good but one of the ratchet got stuck or rusted wasn’t able to strap car down
ELIAS HWhen I was on my way I noticed Google said the location didn't open until 10, but Uhaul said 9. I got there a little after 9 and the open light was on, but no one was around and the door was locked. The app also wouldn't let me check in like it was supposed to. I finally got that to work and it pointed me to the truck. I was told to go to the counter and give them my code. They usually use a lockbox setup so the employee wasn't sure what to do and with their computer down they couldn't do much. After about 15 minutes of him trying stuff and boxes, he found it in the dropbox. It was never checked back in. Thankfully the truck was fairly clean, there was some dirt in the back but nothing crazy, but he had to stop me and check the mileage and gas. Which delayed me even more. Easily the worst rental vehicle experience I have ever had. They did have the truck and the location is convenient which is why I gave it 2 stars.

JAMES SThere was nobody at the rental location when we arrived in the late morning. So we drove to another nearby location that was "open" and there was nobody there either. The second location turned out to be the storage lot for the first location. We called their phones and no answer. As we were driving to another Uhaul location they called back and apologized. The rental process took forever and the Uhaul site wouldn't allow the contract to be printed. Very frustrating.

Nelson NMae was pleasant and easy to work with. The only thing I might say is about keeping up with the warning lights on the dash, that are showing false info. They can cause undue stress. I will use this location again.

CRAWFORD ETruck was in pretty rough shape for only having 38k miles. It shook a lot and didn’t shift like it really should. Had dried paint in the back of the truck (box). Location itself was a car dealership so undersable the parking wasn’t the best but main issue was the truck itself not the location.

MARK JOurs was a last-minute change from a trailer to a box truck. We were on our way quickly. Truck functioned fine. This was a local rental. Dropped off after-hours; receipt arrived via email the next morning. Quick. Easy. Convenient. Courteous!

KATHERINE EOverall experience was very good. Friendly staff and owner. My only minor complaint is that I was not notified that the location of the business changed after I made my reservation, so I went to the wrong location for pick-up.
JANE WThey were already closed when I arrived. There was the key box to drop the keys off. But it was unclear where to leave a 26 ft truck. There were only regular parking spaces. There was someone out back that helped me, he was very helpful and I was glad I found him out back. I would only recommend this location for drop off of a large truck during business hours.
LEANNE Hit was easier than I thought it would be to pick it up before hours...the van was easy to drive and in great condition...it was the absolute perfect size! Drop off was even easier and the price was GREAT!!
Tracy LRushed me out the door telling me everything was fine and took the keys. Then hit me with a $25 cleaning fee after it was exactly the same condition I received it. Would not recommend. Just another hidden fee the consumer gets hit with.

JERRY LWe struggled with backing up the trailer, the guy was busy so no fault of his but not having to back up a trailer between 2 others at drop off would he really helpful.
KAITLYNN LWhen I spoke to the girl on line I had it set to pick up truck at 10:15 am. The person at the location was very nice and apologetic as he said "it's been one of those mornings" and he was late. Something was wrong with the truck. When you let off the brake thej truck would surge forward. Which could easily cause you to hit something or cause you to go off the road. Overall this was my worse experience with u haul and over my life I have used u haul a lot of times.

Adrean ACan’t believe you get to tell the customer where to pick up and drop off. This location was 45 minutes away from home. Also, the SafeMove insurance showed up. Felt like a scam.

URSULA JOn 16 May I rented a 10' truck for Monday 19 May to move a motorcycle. I was very clear about the date. The Clerk rented the truck for 26 May by mistake, by pressing the wrong Monday on the calendar. I received no email notification, presumably because the clerk also misspelled my email address. When I discovered no 10' truck was ready or available on 19 May at 7 AM as promised, I rented a truck via the UHAUL website from a nearby UHAUL in Elkton, VA, 25 miles away. When I arrived to pick up the truck at 9 AM, I discovered the facility was closed for the rest of the week without giving any notification. I drove 25 miles back to the Z Auto office and they offered to rent me a 15' truck for the same price as the 10' truck. When I arrived in Charlotte, NC 5 hours later (300 miles), I discovered the loading ramp on the UHAUL truck was damaged and could not be extended. This made the motorcycle pickup impossible. It took me and the motorcycle owner over an hour to pry up the damaged floor enough with makeshift tools to get the ramp to extend. Without the help of the MC owner, I would have been forced to drive the truck 300 miles back empty. When I got home at 2AM, I again had to pry up the damaged floor alone with a crowbar and winch to extend the ramp and unload the motorcycle. I was unable to get the ramp to retract, and drove the truck back with 6' of ramp extending out the back. The clerk at the Z Auto site was grossly incompetent. They got the date wrong and rented me a damaged and unusable truck. The Elkton site rented me a truck on a date their facility was closed. This is my most awful experience with a company ever. The only thing that prevented disaster was I was forced to relentlessly work around Uhaul employee's incompetence and mistakes, drive 50 miles unnecessarily to a Uhaul office closed without giving notice. I feel that I am entitled to a refund for this fiasco.

JOHN LIt says an open sign but no was there had to call the number displayed on building, and had to wait for the owner to show up. Plus I was charged 38 dollars instead of 19 dollars don't know why ?
