How U-Haul Reviews WorkI’m sure the guy was nice, but he didn’t come out to inspect the truck upon drop off, which perhaps isn’t procedure at this location. When I have dropped off a truck in the past, they usually go over a few things, physically and administratively. My husband went in to take the keys and he came out to the car and said there was no paperwork to be done. Later that day, I was charged $486.64, because the guy entered the mileage wrong. He had me traveling over 600 miles when I had not even used the 218 miles I was allowed. Luckily I have pictures of the dashboard mileage before and after, but this charge will max out and even exceed my credit card limit. It’s just frustrating that he didn’t stop to think that was weird that the mileage was so high or I wouldn’t have had a different drop off location if I was traveling 600 miles, as I prepaid for what I did travel, so perhaps stop to double check that something may not be right as that is a very high charge. It’s just very frustrating and a costly mistake that could have been avoided.
Jennifer TYour advertisement says $24.95 you have to read the fine print to know you have to pay mileage. Which really increases the price.

KEVIN MHave the u haul cleaned out. I had to clean it before I could use it. Also I was charged an extra 5.00 when I returned it not sure why because I used less mileage than what we stated and we put gas in it before returning it. Also reserved an appliance dolly and they didn’t have it when we got the unit.
