This was not this locations problem but I had to pay fuel for 150 miles and five hours travel just to pick up a truck that was supposed to be at another location in Newcastle Uhaul should reimburse for this

Christopher BI made a reservation a week in advance of needing the trailer in the town I was staying in. The day before I get a call from a very RUDE Uhaul employee that I would have to drive 30 miles into another state to get the trailer vs the 2 miles I had originally planned. The distance was actually almost 40 miles 1 way. The trailers lights didn’t work so I had to wait for that to be fixed. Before I could return. The staff at the location were very helpful in getting this done. Just to pick up the trailer ended up taking about 3 hrs of my time and nearly 80 miles round trip. I was compensated $50 for this poor experience which barely covered the fuel for the drive I had to get the trailer. The location I picked up the trailer at was helpful however the rest of the experience with Uhaul corporate was not a positive experience.
Jeff MHad to drive 52 miles each way to Pick Up the equipment when there is a uhaul dealer in the town I live in.

I use Uhaul, because of the customer service and safety review before I take a long trip. Torrington, WY exceeds all expectations and knows the area and educated me even more when pulling a trailer in bad weather. Superb location. Thank you.
DOREE SIt was a damn good product . however the price was a little up there May consider a different option next time.

CURTIS Aneed to have rental equipment more readily available, had to get a trailer brought in from another state. uhaul needs to be one to get trailers to where they are needed, not the customer. zr1 motors was very easy to work with, uhaul not so much so.
